Could our ancestors imagine that one day their descendants would buy clean water? Water is so integral, endlessly important element human life is now not contaminated with anything. If once a traveler could drink from a stream while stopping to rest, now only a suicide would do this.

Despite such a terrifying name, dead water is not poison at all. Remember, in fairy tales, dead water has absolutely positive uses. It heals the wounds of fallen heroes and dead friends of the animal world. And after that they use living water. Dead water cannot have anything to do with voodoo magic or witchcraft, because after its “fairytale” use we get not a freshly baked zombie, but a living person who has definitely woken up after a long sleep.

However, dead water holds more mysteries than living water. Even legends and myths do not explain what the mechanism of its action on humans is. And there are more mysteries associated with it, for example, no one has given a clear definition of what kind of liquid it is. For example, some researchers refer to a liquid that does not contain mineral components as dead. For example, distilled water is included in this list. And others call dead water that is unsuitable for living organisms in general.

Dead water in folk beliefs

Different traditions offer us different interpretation"dead" water. So, according to the Poles, stagnant water is water “without a soul,” which means it is dead and rotting. Magic properties waters in Slavic traditions also depended on seasonal events or calendar time. For example, at night all the water in the surrounding springs was considered “unclean.” Such water, “reported in the darkness,” was not suitable for the Serbs either.

By folk beliefs, night time generally negatively affects water quality. The same effect has solar eclipse. During the latter, the ancient Slavs tried to cover wells and containers so that the water would not become infected. At the same time, on large calendar festivals, it was believed that midnight purifies the water, turning it into healthy and healing, and then - according to a number of legends - for a brief moment into wine, milk or gold.

“Dead water” is used primarily in relation to a deceased person who was washed before burial. According to Czech beliefs, such water was considered harmful, and, therefore, it should be drained near the fence so as not to step on the place where you pour it or even away from the house.

According to the beliefs of the Belarusian people, the widow of the deceased should not touch such “dead” water, so as not to destroy the children already born and those who might appear from the next marriage. Southern Slavs drained the water after washing the body under tall trees or, again, under the fence so that the soul of the deceased does not return to the house. In Polesie they threw out “dead” water under the stove.

In Bosnia, for many centuries, there was a custom to pour out all the available water not only in the house where it came, but also in all neighboring ones. The most popular explanations for these actions were the following: “so that thirst does not torment the deceased in the next world,” “the soul of the deceased settles in water,” “he washes his knife (sickle, scythe) in home water, and so on.

In addition, the people of Bulgaria used the term “martvechka water” or “mertveshka water” for the liquid that was specially poured into a vessel to be placed overnight next to the body of a deceased relative.

Despite the fact that dead water for the Slavic peoples was considered an unsafe means for the living (according to beliefs, it could harm livestock and people), it was used. Dead water was used in apotropaic magic: for medicinal and prophylactic purposes, as a talisman for domestic animals or a means of driving birds away from a field sown with cereals.

There are also other assumptions, for example, that in fact, in most fairy tales, dead and living water are the essence of the same thing. Therefore, in order to revive a person, you need to use first one, and then another, water.

This thesis is supported by researchers who have closely studied the plots of Polish fairy tales. After analyzing the properties of living and dead water, they issued the following verdict that both types of miraculous water together are “a kind of complementary unity.”

If fairy tales and legends say that dead water can restore and heal severed limbs, heal wounds, restore vision, resurrect a lifeless body, then a certain element of “indistinguishability” of living and dead water arises. As a result, fairy tales and myths tell us how vague and unsteady the border between life, “living” and “dead” is. How ambiguous the destructive and at the same time life-giving power turns out to be in the perception of carriers of magical consciousness.

Science's opinion

However, it’s time to put fairy tales and collections of legends and beliefs aside. And pay attention to what properties dead water actually has, and where they come from. Science that has studied this issue says that the matter is in the pole of charge of water.

Thus, negatively charged water mutes any inflammatory processes. Everything is logical, first of all, before the main treatment, the wounds are disinfected. Dead water - of course, not taken “from a dead person”, but charged and activated in a special way - can be drunk, just like living water, to strengthen general immunity and heal from many diseases.

What is dead water most often like through the eyes of a scientist? Dead water is an acidic solution with pronounced bactericidal properties. Its acidity is approximately from 2.5 to 3.5 mV. The liquid itself looks like ordinary water, but the taste is slightly sour and astringent.

It follows that the liquid, called dead water, can be used as a disinfectant. Dead water is used in medicine, for disinfecting accessories, as well as in everyday life, for disinfecting dishes, linens, and clothes. In general, dead water will find use not only as a disinfectant, although, of course, if you clean a patient’s room, then the risk repeated illness will be kept to a minimum.

An excellent remedy for colds is this dead water. Its use has proven itself in cases of diseases according to the profile of an otorhinolaryngologist, speeding up recovery. Dead water is good prophylactic against viruses that cause influenza and acute respiratory infections. But this is not the limit of the capabilities of the miraculous solution. This liquid can lower blood pressure, serve as a sedative, relieve insomnia, and reduce painful sensations in the joints.

The shelf life of this liquid, in comparison with living water, is quite long. Dead water (the acid solution mentioned) can be stored in a closed container for up to about two weeks.

By and large, neither living nor dead water should be stored for long. That's why maximum effect will happen if you drink water directly without leaving the source. But more and more often our attention is drawn to the fact that magic water It can also be done at home using electrolysis. You can buy a ready-made water “activator”, or you can make it yourself - it’s not as difficult as it seems.

    Dead water. Application and essence

    https://site/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/live_wat-150x150.jpg

    Could our ancestors imagine that one day their descendants would buy clean water? Water - such an integral, infinitely important element of human life - is now not polluted by anything. If once a traveler could drink from a stream while stopping to rest, now only a suicide would do this. Despite such a terrifying name, dead water is completely...

We have all heard the phrases “living water” and “dead water”. But few people know what they mean. Some attribute them to folklore and mysticism, others to chemical features composition, but precise definition no one can give. So, what kind of water is actually called living or dead? Let's figure it out.

How it all began?

The definitions of “living” and “dead” waters indeed originate from various myths and legends, where they are attributed miraculous properties. For example, they said about “dead” water that it could heal wounds, and about “live” water - that it could revive a dead person.

The most amazing thing is that these legends are reality, because it was not without reason that in the Middle Ages, alchemist monks used the Latin “aqua vitae” or “aqua vita” (aqua - water, vita - life) to call... an alcohol solution! And he, as you know, looks like water and has wide range capabilities, including bactericidal, wound-healing and, to some extent, even revitalizing.

What's in it?

Version No. 1:

The first widespread version says that “dead” water is, in fact, a synonym for distilled water. And distilled, in turn, is one that does not contain any impurities, salts, minerals and other “foreign” elements. In short, the purest water of all. It's quite difficult to find in natural conditions, usually such water is produced using a special apparatus called a distiller.

Version No. 2:

The second version defines “dead” water as “acidic” (anolyte), and living water as “alkaline” (catholyte).

For the first time, this option of “living” and “dead” water was officially received by D. Krotov, an honored innovator of the USSR. With their help, he was cured of radiculitis, kidney inflammation and prostate adenoma.

Speaking scientific language, during the electrolysis of water, there will be an acidic environment near the anode, and an alkaline environment near the cathode. When turning off electric current As a result of the thermal movement of molecules, the entire liquid is mixed back and becomes neutral.

Both catholyte and anolyte have some positive properties and to some extent are beneficial for the human body. To list in more detail, living water - catholyte, among its other advantages, heals wounds, improves blood circulation, improves immunity and removes toxins from the body. As for dead water - anolyte, it boasts antiallergic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anti-edematous and antipruritic effects.

Application in everyday life

Considering all of the above healing qualities, it is not surprising that “living” and “dead” waters are widely used in medicine. True, only within the framework of the people. The Internet is replete with all kinds of recipes, tips and methods for preparing and using water for the most various diseases and ailments - from the common cold to cancer. But be careful! Before using “live” and “dead” water, consult your doctor!

The healing properties of water have been known to mankind since ancient times. IN folk medicine there are many examples when dead water helped in the treatment of serious diseases, destroyed acting as good antiseptic. Living water helped to recover during the postoperative period or after past illness. V healing purposes has a good basis, because our body consists of it. Our health ultimately depends on what we drink. Water is involved in metabolic processes, without it the existence of life itself is unthinkable.

Over the course of many centuries, concepts about healthy eating, about the use of products in the treatment of certain diseases, about the benefits of diets. In addition to food, our body needs water. Research carried out in the second half of the last century confirmed that dead water, the so-called anolyte, can be obtained by ionizing plain water using an electric current. As a result of electrolysis, living water will also appear, which is called catholyte. Negatively charged ions will predominate in it, and due to this it will have an alkaline structure. Dead water will have an acidic structure due to the predominance of positive ions in it.

In the process of electrolysis, not only are they changed, but they are purified from harmful impurities, are destroyed chemical compounds and are destroyed. The longer these processes take place, the higher the supplied voltage, the more expressed properties will receive anolyte and catholyte.

Official science has recognized the healing properties that it possesses. The device for obtaining it can be made independently, detailed information there is information about this on the web. But it is best to buy it in a store, since officially produced devices are safe and certified. As a rule, with their help it is possible to obtain water with a given concentration and use it as a preventive measure, treatment of diseases, or for daily use. They are compact, affordable and consume little power.

All greater application living and dead water finds itself in our lives. Reviews from people who regularly use it for preventive purposes speak of its high efficiency. Natural the power of the dead water allows you to disinfect wounds, which promotes their speedy healing. Widely used in dermatology to treat skin diseases. Many people have gotten rid of foot fungus or lichen by starting to use dead water regularly. Taking it internally significantly reduces blood pressure. The range of its application is quite wide. Dead water can also be used as disinfectant when washing clothes or treating premises. Living water has a number of healing properties. It has a pronounced immunostimulating, regenerating and detoxification effect. It helps well in restoring the immune system and healing wounds.

The concept of living and dead water. "Living" and "dead" water

“Living” and “dead” water are produced by electrolysis of ordinary water, while acidic water, which collects at the positively charged anode, is called “dead”, and alkaline water, which concentrates near the negative cathode, is called “live”.

Dead water, or anolyte, is a colorless liquid with an acidic odor and a slightly astringent taste. Its acidity ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 pH. It retains its properties for 1 - 2 weeks when stored in closed containers. Dead water is an excellent bactericide and disinfectant. You can rinse your nose, mouth, throat with it colds, disinfect linen, furniture, premises and even soil. She's filming blood pressure, calms the nerves, improves sleep, reduces joint pain, and has a dissolving effect. It is useful to rinse your mouth after eating - your gums will not bleed and the stones will gradually dissolve.

Living water, or catholyte, is an alkaline solution and has strong qualities biostimulant. It is a very soft, colorless liquid with an alkaline taste, pH = 8.5 - 10.5. After the reaction, precipitation falls in it - all the impurities of water, incl. and radionuclides. If stored in a closed container in a dark place, it can be used for two days. It perfectly restores the body's immune system, provides antioxidant protection, and is a source vital energy. Living water activates all bioprocesses of the body, increases blood pressure, improves appetite, metabolism, general health. It lives up to its name everywhere. Even dried flowers come to life if they are placed in a vase with living water.

Water is characterized by two very important parameters: pH and redox potential (oxidation-reduction potential). pH characterizes the acidity of the medium. If the pH is above 7, the environment is alkaline, if below, it is acidic.

Acid-forming foods: meat products, white flour products, sugar, fish and seafood, cottage cheese, cheese, nuts and seeds, cereals, baked goods, ice cream, eggs, everything alcoholic drinks, pasteurized juices, coffee, tea, lemonade, Coca-Cola, etc.

Alkaline-forming foods include: fruits (except canned), vegetables, herbs, natural yogurt, milk, soy, potatoes.

Almost all diseases have one cause - an overly oxidized body. Since our blood has a pH within the range of 7.35 -7.45, it is very important for a person to drink water with an alkaline pH every day, i.e. living water. Dead water acidifies our body, living water, on the contrary, alkalizes. All internal environments must be alkaline, otherwise the body fails. If a person's blood pH drops to 7.1, they die.

Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) shows whether a product is an oxidant or an antioxidant. ORP is measured in millivolts using special devices: redox testers. Negative ORP values of water (or another product) mean that when it enters our body, it donates electrons, i.e. it is an antioxidant. Positive values mean that such water (or other product) takes electrons when it enters the body. This process contributes to the formation free radicals and is the cause of many serious illnesses.

Water with negative ORP values and alkaline pH (living water) has pronounced health properties and is recommended for daily use.

ORP and pH values for different types water:
- living water: ORP = -350...-700, pH = 9.0...12.0;
- fresh melt water: ORP = +95, pH = 8.3;
- tap water: ORP = +160... +600, pH = 7.2;
- black tea: ORP = +83, pH = 6.7;
- mineral water: ORP = +250, pH = 4.6;
- boiled water, after three hours: ORP = +465, pH = 3.7.

OBTAINING LIVING AND DEAD WATER

Living and dead water can be prepared at home using devices called living and dead water activators. There are many on the market now various kinds devices (AP-1 made in Belarus, Melesta - made in Ufa, Zhivitsa - made in China), there are also home-made devices using a fire hose, and there are also those officially manufactured by various enterprises.

The AP-1 household electric water activator is a lightweight, compact device that allows everyone at home to get about 1.4 liters of activated (“live” and “dead”) water in just 20-30 minutes. The device is not complicated, electrically safe and reliable.

Device for preparing “Living and Dead water” - “Melesta”

This device is made of cheaper materials than AP-1: instead of a ceramic glass, a fabric glass is used (acts as a diaphragm), and instead of 4 electrodes made of high-quality alloys, the usual 2 electrodes made of food steel are used. The water produced by this device has all the properties of water prepared on the AP-1, so it can be recommended to everyone without exception for home use.

Device for preparing “Living and Dead” water “Zdravnik”.

The device is very easy to use and does not require special care and service. Food-grade stainless steel is used as electrodes; electrical safety requirements are met. Just like the AP-1, it has two versions:
- classic, time-tested design of the device using a fabric glass for dead water;
- version using an electroosmotic dead water glass made of nanostructured ceramics.

Choose a device in which the anode is made of a non-destructible material, or of a destructible but environmentally friendly material, such as silicon. Make sure that the device has a sensor for monitoring the quality of the received water. For example, catholyte with an ORP of less than -200 mV is ineffective, and with an ORP of more than -800 mV it has an inhibitory effect. The therapeutic level of ORP is about -400 mV. Do not use a home-made device under any circumstances, since it is impossible to ensure the required water quality with its help.

PROPERTIES OF LIVING WATER

“Living” is called water, which, when exposed to the body, causes it to favorable changes: metabolic processes in living tissues are intensified, improving well-being and reducing susceptibility to effects unfavorable factors and improving general state health. Living water is characterized the following properties:
1. High level pH ( alkaline water) - catholyte, negative charge.
2. It is a natural biostimulant that remarkably restores the immune system, provides antioxidant protection for the body, and is a source of vital energy.
3. Living water stimulates metabolism, improves blood circulation in tissues, increases blood pressure in hypotensive patients, improves appetite and digestion.
4. Promotes regeneration of the colon mucosa with full restoration bowel functions.
5. Living water is a radioprotector and a powerful stimulant. biological processes, has high extracting and dissolving properties.
6. Helps improve the detoxifying function of the liver.
7. Living water ensures rapid healing of wounds, including bedsores, burns, trophic ulcers, stomach ulcers and duodenum.
8. Smoothes wrinkles, softens skin, improves appearance and hair structure, copes with the problem of dandruff.
9. Living water stimulates the transfer of oxygen and electrons from external environment to cells, which normalizes redox and metabolic processes in cells. This increases the activity of blood cells, tones the central nervous system and striated skeletal muscles.
10. Promotes the rapid extraction of useful substances from something, therefore Herb tea And herbal baths on catholyte they turn out to be especially useful, since the herbs are brewed better. Food cooked in catholyte is much tastier and healthier. The extractive property of living water manifests itself even with low temperatures. The extract brewed on catholyte at a temperature of 40 - 45°C preserves everything useful material, whereas when extracted with ordinary boiling water they are lost.
11. Promotes weakening or even complete deliverance from the consequences of radioactive exposure.

PROPERTIES OF DEAD WATER

Dead water slows down metabolic processes. In terms of its disinfecting effect, it corresponds to treatment with iodine, brilliant green, hydrogen peroxide, etc. But unlike them, it does not cause chemical burn living tissues and does not stain them, i.e. is a mild antiseptic. Dead water has the following properties:
1. Low level pH ( sour water) - anolyte, positive charge.
2. Has antiseptic, antiallergic, drying, anthelmintic, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory properties.
3. When internal use dead water lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients, regulates the flow area of blood vessels and improves drainage through their walls, and eliminates blood stagnation.
4. Helps dissolve stones in gallbladder, bile ducts of the liver, kidneys.
5. Dead water reduces joint pain.
6. Renders easy hypnotic effect on the central nervous system, reduces muscle tone. When taken, drowsiness, fatigue, and weakness are noted.
7. Dead water improves elimination harmful products vital activity of the body. Cleanses it perfectly inside and out.
8. Restores the functions of the sweat, salivary, sebaceous, lacrimal glands, as well as glands internal secretion And gastrointestinal tract.
9. Dead water, acting on the skin, helps remove dead, keratinized epithelium, restoring local receptor fields of the skin, improving reflex activity the whole body.
10. Increases the effect of radiation, so it is not recommended to consume dead water internally on sunny days. summer days, as well as people living in radiation-contaminated areas.

When mixing living and dead water, mutual neutralization occurs and the resulting water loses its activity. Therefore, when ingesting living and then dead water, you need to pause between doses for at least 2 hours.

APPLICATION OF LIVING AND DEAD WATER

In medicine, electroactivated solutions, both anolytes and catholytes, are found to be quite wide application. When taking activated water orally, a single dose average dose for an adult it is usually 0.5 cups (unless otherwise indicated in the recipe).

Between taking medications and taking activated water, it is necessary to maintain a pause of 2 - 2.5 hours, but it is better to reduce the use chemical drugs to a minimum or abandon them altogether.

Unless otherwise indicated in the recipe, activated water should be taken orally 0.5 hours before meals or 2 - 2.5 hours after meals. During the treatment period it is not recommended to consume fatty and spicy food, and it is also necessary to completely abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages.

Before carrying out health procedures, it is advisable to heat the water to a temperature of 35 - 37°C. This should be done over low heat, in a ceramic or glass container, in a water bath (that is, not over direct heat, especially not on an electric stove). Do not bring to a boil, otherwise the water will practically lose its beneficial properties.

When using activated water, you need to regularly monitor the acid-base balance of the body. The most reliable indicator is the human eye. With a normal acid-base balance, the color of the conjunctiva (corner of the eye) is pale pink. With strong acidification - light, almost white. With significant alkalization of the body, the corner of the eye has a bright red color.

Of course, consulting a doctor is necessary, especially if you need to diagnose correct diagnosis, because the main thing is not to harm yourself and others.

Adenoma prostate gland: one hour before meals, drink 0.5 glasses of living water 4 times a day (last time at night). If your blood pressure is normal, then by the end of the treatment cycle you can drink a glass. Sexual intercourse should not be interrupted. The entire treatment cycle is 8 days. If necessary repeat course, then it is carried out a month after the first cycle, but it is better to continue treatment without interruption. During the treatment process, it is useful to do perineal massage and enemas of warm living water. It is also advisable to place candles from a bandage moistened with living water. The pain goes away after 4 - 5 days, swelling and the urge to urinate decrease.

Allergy: you need to rinse your mouth, throat and nose after eating for three days in a row dead water. After each rinse, after 10 minutes, drink 0.5 glasses of live water. Moisten skin rashes (if any) with dead water. The disease usually goes away in 2 - 3 days. It is recommended to repeat the procedure for prevention.

Angina: Gargle with dead water 5 times a day for three days. After each rinse, drink 50 ml of live water. The temperature drops in one day, the disease stops on the third day.

Bronchial asthma, bronchitis: for three days, 4-5 times a day, rinse your mouth, throat and nose with warmed dead water. 10 minutes after each rinse, drink 0.5 cups of live water. If there is no noticeable improvement, do inhalation with dead water: heat 1 liter of water to 70 - 80 ° C and breathe in the steam for 10 minutes, repeat 3 - 4 times a day. The last inhalation can be done with live water and soda. The urge to cough decreases and overall well-being improves. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment.

Haemorrhoids: carefully rinse the anus, lacerations, nodes warm water with soap, wipe dry and moisten with dead water. After 7 - 8 minutes, make lotions with a cotton-gauze swab dipped in living water. Repeat this procedure, changing tampons, 6 to 8 times during the day. At night, drink 0.5 glasses of living water. Within 3-4 days the bleeding stops and the ulcers heal.

Flu: Rinse the nasal and oral cavities with dead water 8 times during the day, and drink 100 ml of living water at night. The flu disappears within 24 hours.

Toothache, periodontal disease: rinse your teeth after eating with heated dead water for 15 - 20 minutes. When brushing your teeth, use live water instead of ordinary water. If you have periodontal disease, rinse your mouth after dead food water several times. Then rinse your mouth with a live one. Brush your teeth only in the evening. Perform the procedure regularly. In most cases, the pain goes away quickly. If there are stones on your teeth, brush dead teeth water and after 10 minutes rinse your mouth with live water. Tartar gradually disappears and gum bleeding decreases.

High blood pressure: morning and evening before meals, drink 0.5 glasses of dead water with a “strength” of 3 - 4 pH. If it doesn’t help, then drink a whole glass after one hour. The blood pressure normalizes and the nervous system calms down.

Low pressure: morning and evening before meals, drink 0.5 glasses of living water with pH = 9 - 10. Blood pressure normalizes, and a surge of strength appears.

Polyarthritis, arthritis, osteochondrosis: full cycle treatment – 9 days. Drink 3 times a day 30-40 minutes before meals:
- in the first and last three days, 0.5 cups of dead water;
- 4th day - break;
- on the 5th day - 0.5 glasses of living water;
- Day 6 - break.
If necessary, this cycle can be repeated after a week. If the disease is advanced, then it is necessary to apply compresses with warm dead water to the sore spots. Joint pain goes away, sleep and well-being improve.

Radiculitis, rheumatism: two days, 3 times a day, half an hour before meals, drink 0.75 glasses of living water. Rub heated dead water into the sore spots. The pain goes away within a day or even earlier, depending on the cause of the exacerbation.

Vein dilatation, bleeding: wash swollen and bleeding areas dead body water, then moisten the gauze with live water and apply it to the swollen and affected areas of the veins, drink 100 ml of dead water, and after 2 hours start taking 100 ml of live water 4 times with an interval of 4 hours. Repeat the procedure for 2 - 3 days. Areas of swollen veins dissolve and the veins heal.

Diabetes, pancreas: Constantly drink 0.5 glasses of live water 30 minutes before meals. Massage of the pancreas and self-hypnosis that it secretes insulin is useful. The condition is improving.

Cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder): for 4 days, 3 times a day, 30 - 40 minutes before meals, drink 0.5 glasses of water: 1st time - dead, 2nd and 3rd times - alive. Living water should have a pH of about 11 units. Pain in the heart, abdomen and right scapula pass, bitterness in the mouth and nausea disappear.

Cervical erosion: douche overnight with dead water heated to 38 - 40°C. After 10 minutes, repeat this procedure with live water. Next, repeat rinsing with live water several times a day. Erosion resolves within 2 - 3 days.

Gastric and duodenal ulcers: for 4 - 5 days, one hour before meals, drink 0.5 glasses of living water. After 7 - 10 day break repeat treatment. The pain and vomiting stop on the second day. Acidity decreases, the ulcer heals.

Storage

If you store living water in a closed glass container filled with a lid in a dark place, then your medicinal properties it keeps for 24 hours. But it should be borne in mind that it retains its maximum healing effect for the first three hours after preparation.

Dead water retains its active healing properties for a week if stored in a closed glass container in a dark place.

You cannot store “living” and “dead” water in the refrigerator. This is due to the vibration of the refrigerator and its magnetic field. Also, you cannot place jars with such water next to each other (the distance between the jars should be at least 40 cm).

The theory that both “living” and “dead” water can be produced at home became widespread in the 70s of the 20th century and created a sensation in its time. The effectiveness of this concept has never been supported by significant evidence, although even today some people, relying on drawings from famous publications, do not give up attempts to make electrodes at home.

Let's try to understand this issue from a scientific point of view. If you place two electrodes (anode and cathode) in plain water and load them with electric current for 5-6 minutes, then the water molecules will be divided into hydrogen ions (H+) and hydroxide ions (OH-), that is, into acidic and alkaline ions . The water near the anode will become acidic (pH = 4-5), or “dead”, and near the cathode it will become sharply alkaline (pH = 10-11), which is what is called “live”.

By placing a semi-permeable membrane in the middle (a piece of canvas fire hose was used for this purpose in the 1970s), you can prevent the two solutions from mixing. “Living” water is light, has a mild alkaline taste, and sometimes a white precipitate, that is, salt, appears in it. "Dead" water has brown tint, sour in taste, gives off characteristic sour smell, hydrogen and metal ions collect in it.

So what is so good about this so-called “living” water, which is a strong alkaline? What benefits can it bring? Drinking such water is almost the same as drinking a not very concentrated solution of KOH (caustic potassium) or soda. This solution “quenches” hydrochloric acid in the stomach, seriously disrupting the digestion of food and causing the body to double its production. of hydrochloric acid. Activation of HCI production, even over a short period of time, will lead to a subsequent increase in acidity in the stomach, and this is a direct path to the development of wounds in the stomach and duodenum. Also, consuming alkali will lead to a violation acid-base balance in the body and other changes, the consequences of which no one has seriously studied (in the same way, there is no information anywhere about long-term consequences influence of “living” water on the body).

As for “dead” (that is, acidic) water, adherents of the above theory usually recommend using it for external purposes: gargling for sore throat, rubbing into sore joints, applying lotions, etc. Medicine has no special objections here, although It’s still worth consulting with an otolaryngologist or dentist. But you definitely shouldn’t drink “dead” water when you have diarrhea...

Properties of living water

Catholyte (living water) and its healing properties

Living Water (WW) - alkaline solution, bluish in color, with powerful biostimulating properties. Otherwise it is called catholyte. It is a clear, soft liquid with an alkaline taste, the pH of which is 8.5-10.5. enjoy freshly prepared water possible for two days, and only if it was stored correctly - in a closed container, in a darkened room.

Catholyte has a beneficial effect on the body, it intensifies metabolic processes, helps to increase protective forces body, as well as improving overall health.

“Live” is water that, when exposed to the body, causes beneficial changes in it: metabolic processes in living tissues are intensified, improving well-being, reducing susceptibility to adverse factors and improving overall health. Living water is characterized by the following properties:

  1. High pH (alkaline water) - catholyte, negative charge.
  2. It is a natural biostimulant that remarkably restores the immune system, provides antioxidant protection for the body, and is a source of vital energy.
  3. Living water stimulates metabolism, improves blood circulation in tissues, increases blood pressure in hypotensive patients, improves appetite and digestion.
  4. Promotes regeneration of the colon mucosa with full restoration of intestinal functions.
  5. Living water is a radioprotector, a powerful stimulator of biological processes, and has high extracting and dissolving properties.
  6. Helps improve the detoxifying function of the liver.
  7. Living water ensures rapid healing of wounds, including bedsores, burns, trophic ulcers, stomach and duodenal ulcers.
  8. Smoothes wrinkles, softens the skin, improves the appearance and structure of hair, and copes with the problem of dandruff.
  9. Living water stimulates the transfer of oxygen and electrons from the external environment to cells, which normalizes redox and metabolic processes in cells. This increases the activity of blood cells, tones the central nervous system and striated skeletal muscles.
  10. Promotes the rapid extraction of beneficial substances from something, so herbal tea and herbal baths with catholyte are especially useful, since the herbs are better brewed. Food cooked in catholyte is much tastier and healthier. The extractive property of living water is manifested even at low temperatures. An extract brewed on catholyte at a temperature of 40 - 45°C retains all useful substances, whereas when extracted with ordinary boiling water they are lost.

Dead water slows down metabolic processes. In terms of its disinfecting effect, it corresponds to treatment with iodine, brilliant green, hydrogen peroxide, etc. But unlike them, it does not cause a chemical burn to living tissues and does not stain them, i.e. is a mild antiseptic. Dead water has the following properties:

  1. Low pH (acidic water) - anolyte, positive charge.
  2. It has antiseptic, antiallergic, drying, anthelmintic, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory properties.
  3. When used internally, dead water lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients, regulates the flow area of blood vessels and improves drainage through their walls, and eliminates blood stagnation.

It is important to know! Living and dead water interact with each other, and in order not to cause harm, follow these important rules:

  • There should be a time interval of at least 2 hours between taking catholyte and anolyte;
  • when ingesting pure living water, a feeling of thirst arises, which can be muffled by drinking something acidified - tea with lemon, juice, sour compote;
  • living water is an unstable structure that quickly loses its properties; it can be stored for no more than 2 days in a cool, dark place;
  • dead - retains its properties for about 14 days if placed in a closed vessel;
  • both liquids can be used both as preventive measures and as medicines.

When mixing living and dead water, mutual neutralization occurs and the resulting water loses its activity. Therefore, when ingesting living and then dead water, you need to pause between doses for at least 2 hours!
