Homemade panchakarma. Panchakarma

| What is Panchakarma and how to do it at home

Panchakarma, which means five actions or five procedures in translation, is the oldest program for cleansing and rejuvenating the body, as well as for cleansing the consciousness and mind. In Sanskrit "Pancha" means "five" and "Karma" means "action". Yes, therapy "Panchakarma"- these are the five main methods of Ayurveda that are unique

Panchakarma
has a positive effect on overall health, well-being, and eliminates stress.

The state of health, happiness and inner sense of well-being, according to Ayurveda, is the natural state of man. IN modern world a common person toxins and stress accumulate, leading to deterioration general condition, health deteriorates, diseases appear.

Panchakarma helps eliminate negative consequences Everyday life by cleansing the body of toxins and getting rid of nervous system from stress. Harmony is restored.

Panchakarma- These are quite simple to use, but effective therapeutic procedures.

Every dosha (psychophysiological principle) gets improvement after Panchakarma therapy.
Panchakarma is good both for periodic prevention (to prevent the accumulation of ama) and for the treatment of health disorders. It is best to undergo panchakarma in an Ayurvedic center under supervision experienced specialist. But if you don't have that option, you can follow a simplified cleansing program at home.

It is better to cleanse during the changing seasons (spring, autumn) 2 times, or at least once a year.

Home cleansing program It starts with internal oiling.
For 3 days in a row, take 50 g of warmed liquid ghee (ghee) in the morning on an empty stomach. Vata constitution - with a pinch of rock salt,
pitta constitution - no additives,
kapha constitution - with a pinch of trikatu (a mixture of equal quantities of ginger, black pepper and pippali).

If you have a two-dose or three-dose constitutional type, then mix the appropriate supplements.

(If it is very difficult for you to take this amount of oil at one time, then take two tablespoons of oil three times a day in between meals). Take your first meal at least 30 minutes after taking ghee. Ghee provides the “internal oiling” and lubrication that is necessary for ama and toxins to begin moving out of the tissues and into the gastrointestinal tract.

If you have high cholesterol, triglycerides and blood sugar, use ghee instead linseed oil. It contains fatty acid, lowering cholesterol levels. Take 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil 3 times a day 15 minutes before meals for 3 days.

After “internal oiling”, you should proceed to “external oiling”.
However, if you are limited in time, you can start internal and external oiling at the same time on the same day. This will be a little harder on the body, but at the same time more effective.

If you started internal oiling earlier, the entire program will take 10 days.

If you started internal and external oiling at the same time, then the entire program will take 7 days.

Over the next 7 days better evening, but in any case, at least 2 hours after eating, apply 200-250 ml of heated (but not very hot) oil to the body, carefully rubbing it in the direction from head to toes.

For vata constitution - sesame oil, for pitta constitution - sunflower oil, for kapha constitution - mustard (or corn) oil.

If you have a two-dose or three-dose constitutional type, then mix the appropriate oils in the required proportion. If one of your doshas is imbalanced, then you need to take more oil for that dosha.

Oil massage is carried out for 15-20 minutes.

After that, accept hot bath or hot shower. If there is a lot of oil left on your skin after a bath/shower, wash with some vegetarian herbal soap. It's best to simply pat dry with a towel, leaving more oil on the skin. In any case, try not to wash off all the oil; let some of it remain on your skin.

Every evening during home cleansing At least an hour after dinner, take ½ - 2 teaspoons of triphala. Adjust the dosage according to your individual reaction: your stool in the morning next day should be very soft or runny, but not very runny like water.

If you do not have a bowel movement the next morning, take another serving of triphala an hour after your first meal.

The procedure for preparing triphala is as follows. Add a glass of boiling water to the triphala and let it brew until the liquid cools to an acceptable temperature, then drink it along with the sediment. Along with many healing and nutritional properties triphala has a mild but effective laxative effect.

To complete your home cleanse, do medicated enemas for the last 3 of 7 days after your bath/shower. For an enema, use a decoction of dashmul. Dashmula - the best option if Vata is dominant.

If you cannot purchase dashmula, you can use a mixture of calamus, fennel and ginger).

To prepare this decoction, boil 1 tablespoon of dashmula in 0.5 liters of water for 5 minutes. Cool the resulting broth, strain and use for an enema. For Vata constitution or for any constitution in case of constipation, add a teaspoon of rock salt and 150 ml of warm water to the decoction. sesame oil. Hold the liquid in as long as possible until it causes significant discomfort. And don't worry if the liquid doesn't come out or barely comes out. In some people, especially those with a vata constitution, the colon may be so dry and dehydrated that it cannot absorb all the liquid. It's not harmful.

In Ayurveda, large volume enemas are not used, because... It is believed that a large amount of water injures the intestines and cannot be retained in it for a long time. Basic therapeutic effect Ayurvedic enemas - in herbs and other components included in it. It’s good if the mixture is kept inside the intestines and works there for 30-40 minutes.

The enema temperature should not be lower than body temperature, i.e. When serving the mixture inside, you should not feel cool. Otherwise, the toxins will lose their fluidity and “freeze” in their places.

If you can devote 2 weeks to panchakarma and Vata dosha is dominant, the number of enemas in panchakarma at home can be increased to 7. It is recommended to start doing them on the 8th day of panchakarma and continue to do them once a day after oil self-massage and a warm bath. With longer periods of performing enemas during Panchakarma, the body may be severely weakened, so it is better to do this under the supervision of a specialist.

At correct implementation Panchakarma intestinal flora is maintained and strengthened. However, at home, especially if you live in a city, flora regularly dies from poor ecology and food. Therefore, one way or another, it needs to be restored regularly. Recovery intestinal flora It is better to carry out live bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. They are widely represented in dietary supplement companies. It is better not to buy at a regular pharmacy. You can ferment natural milk yourself (not pasteurized, not sterilized) using special capsules sold, then the number of these microorganisms increases many times over.

IMPORTANT
During the entire Panchakarma cleansing program, it is enough to rest and avoid physical, mental and mental stress. It is better to conduct the program during a period when you are free from work. After completing the Panchakarma program, enter your working life gradually, avoiding excessive load in the first days after its completion.

It is also very important to observe during Panchakarma light diet. From the 4th to the 9th day (or from the 1st to the 7th, if you started external and internal oiling at the same time) eat only khichri and drink warming Herb tea(the type of teas recommended for colds).

If you feel the need for a sweet taste, add very little honey to your tea. You should never go hungry during the program, so eat khichri until you are full as many times a day as you are used to eating. On the first day after finishing the program, eat only khichri with steamed vegetables and drink the same tea. On the second day, you can gradually switch to a diet that is normal for your constitution.

Khichri recipe:
Take equal quantities of rice (preferably basmati) and mung bean (yellow or green) + a small amount of cumin, mustard seed, coriander, turmeric and ginger. You can also add a little salt if you can't do without salt. (If you don't have these legumes, you can substitute shelled whole peas with the germ still in them. Soak the peas overnight or more until they begin to sprout, then rinse thoroughly.) Rinse the rice and beans several times in large quantities water.

If you have time, soaking the beans for a few hours will improve their digestibility.

Place the rice, beans and spices (as well as salt) in a saucepan and pour hot water, bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat, cover the pan with a lid, leaving a small gap, and simmer for about 25-30 minutes until tender. The consistency of the dish should be like thick porridge. Before using, place 2 tablespoons of ghee in a plate.
You can also use a pressure cooker to prepare khichri.

WARNINGS
Panchakarma even in a simplified form it has a powerful effect, and should only be carried out by those who have sufficient strength. If you have anemia, if you feel weak and exhausted, then even this simplified cleansing method is not for you.

Panchakarma should not be performed during pregnancy.

One of the results of panchakarma is that deep connective tissues can, along with ama and excess doshas, begin to release past emotions that have not found a way out, such as grief, sadness, fear or anger. This good symptoms, since in this way you get rid of suppressed emotions, stuffed into the subconscious, which often become the causes various diseases and mental discomfort. If this happens, drink sedatives herbal teas and/or meditate using any meditation method you know. The release of emotions can occur several weeks or even months after completing home panchakarma.

Ayurveda gave us unique system cleansing and rejuvenation of the body called PANCHAKARMA(Sanskrit pancha - five, karma - action, procedure).

With the help of procedures, toxins and waste are removed from all tissues of the body, cleansing occurs at the cellular level. Why pancha - five, karma - action? The procedures are aimed at cleansing 5 main organs (eyes, nose, lungs, stomach and entire intestines). Ayurveda teaches that the natural state of man is one of health, happiness and inner feeling well-being. In addition to cleansing procedures, you need to do yoga, study your body and mind. IN modern tension, in a stressful and toxic world, toxins and stress accumulate in the physical and mental sphere of a person, which leads to a deterioration in their functioning, ultimately the body is weakened, and diseases appear.

The first time I learned about cleansing the body was from my friend. She turned the conversation into a joke when it came to enemas and catheters in the nose. She said, “I won’t do this! I won’t and there’s no need to persuade me!”

All herbs were brought from India from Ayurveda doctor Jetendriya, with whom I subsequently met and learned panchakarma.

A short body cleansing program for 14 days. Full program last 21 days.

Part One: Preparation

I advise you to undergo panchakarma in Ayurvedic centers under the supervision of an experienced specialist. Panchakarma is suitable both for prevention (to prevent the accumulation of ama (waste, toxins)) and for the treatment of health disorders. But if you do not have this opportunity, you can do it at home, But first find more information, study the details, be responsible!

The first time I did panchakarma at home, on the waxing moon. This is important because We are one with nature, just as the moon affects the ebb and flow of the tides, it also affects the flows in our body. The cleansing program begins with internal and external oiling. For 7 days in a row, take ghee in the morning on an empty stomach. How to make ghee? Stoke butter, it is advisable to choose an oil with 82.5% mass fraction of fat, remove the top foam and white sediment. Took: 1 tbsp. spoon first day, 2 tbsp. spoon the second day and so on up to 7 spoons. When the number of spoons became noticeable, I used buckwheat porridge. On the seventh day the porridge was swimming in oil)). If the oil is very difficult to take at one time, it can be taken between meals. (At increased content cholesterol or blood sugar, use flaxseed oil instead. It contains acids that lower cholesterol.)

In the evening I smeared sesame seeds all over my body, olive oil(the oil should have a warming effect, you can warm it up slightly). Apply with massaging movements. My joints stopped cracking. The skin became pleasant to the touch.

Using this method, I achieved oiling of all cells of the body. During life, cells die and must be eliminated naturally, but not proper nutrition it clogs not only the intestines, but also all the small excretory tracts and canals, only in the head there are 4 of them (the nose and mouth are not counted). Cells that cannot escape shrink and remain in the body to rot. As one gets older, one begins to smell (we’ve all experienced this unpleasant smell), one of the reasons is dead cells.

I advise you to remove all types of meat and fish from your diet. Friends, show determination!

Part Two: Therapeutic Cleansing of the Five Organs

I advise you to exclude from your diet all types of meat, fish, eggs, all dairy products, all grains, all legumes, everything pickled, salty, bread, alcohol, chocolate, our favorite cookies with sweets, etc. Eat only plant foods. Buckwheat, potatoes, special young rice are allowed. Drink, but not sparkling water. I strictly adhere to this diet. I carry out all procedures in the morning. Early in the morning rasa falls out, and in our body the removal of mucus from the body occurs in the morning.

7.00 - 7.15 Jala neti (Nasya) - rinsing the sinuses. Cures runny nose, improves vision and smell. She lubricated her nostrils with SHATBINDU oil and passed a catheter through each nostril.

"Catheter?? Into the nose??" - I said. "My pleasure!" I conjured up images of thin, black-bearded yogis, and now I understand how tightly my brain was closed to various, sometimes necessary, information. The oil is burning, I dropped it in with a pipette. He pulls his nose, but a lot of mucus comes out.

A catheter is a thin rubber cord. Then I washed the nasal passages with salt water, using a nasal teapot (1 teaspoon per half liter of warm water, taste the water, it should be slightly salty. If the water is not salty or too salty, it will hurt). The catheter went through the first nostril calmly, but not into the second, only on the 4th day was it possible to quietly and painlessly clear the nose. Be careful, listen to your body.

7.15 - 7.20 Vamana dhauti (Vastra dhauti)…I remembered from childhood Ukhti Tukhti - cleansing the stomach. The most powerful tool removing mucus from respiratory tract. While squatting, I drank 3-4 glasses of water. It is recommended to drink up to 10 glasses of clean, warm water and induce vomiting. I drank water at room temperature. I purchased all the water for the procedures in bottles; you should not use tap water. Vamana dhauti is easy for me, but for others it may be difficult - it depends on the length of the esophagus. During the cleaning period, my hands and feet began to freeze, and in addition to mucus, gastric juice(one of the components for the body’s production of heat). Then I cleaned my tongue with a special scraper, but do not press it hard, the tongue is sensitive. I brushed my teeth.

7.20 - 7.35 Retu - inhalation. I used OLESHAN oil. For 0.5 liters of boiling water, add 4 drops of OLESHAN oil. Inhaled for 15 minutes. There’s nothing complicated, except that “Oleshan – take your eye out!”J.

7.35 - 7.40 Neta neti (Netra basti) - cleansing the eyes. Relieves tension, restores intraocular pressure, cleans the channels. Eye baths are usually used (1 tsp of Triphala per 100 ml of boiling water, leave overnight, strain before use). I used swimming goggles, I just didn't bother looking for bathtubs. Feeling the sand in the water with your eyes. Then, a person who wears glasses shared his experience with me; his vision was not restored, but the picture became clearer.

7.40 - 7.45 Virechana - bowel cleansing. Rejuvinative is used. 1 tsp washed it down with a glass of water. This is a mild laxative to cleanse the small intestine.

7.40 - 8.00 Utkleshana basti - cleansing the intestines, cleansing the rectum. Enema. “Never!!!” I said and often hear from others J. In the evening I prepared a decoction for 1 liter. boiling water 5 tsp. Triphala powder and 3 tsp. Neem powder, left until morning, and added in the morning Fresh Juice 3 limes (half a lemon). I did it in the bathtub on all fours, it’s better to hang the “Esmarch mug” higher. The tip was lubricated with oil. In the first days, the mug did not pour in at once (If the mug poured in all at once, it good indicator). Don't give up friends :-D!

8.10 - 10.10 or 18.00 - 20.00 Hatha Yoga - performing asanas. Yoga classes help the infusions go deeper into the organs, massaging and nourishing them. The joints and spine are worked out. Use meditation to calm your mind.

After yoga or in the evening, massage - abhyanga, marma, mamsa and Nuga-Best. Ask your loved ones for a massage, massages are necessary. You will feel lumps in your body, if you haven’t done a massage for a long time, they need to be kneaded. I felt that kneading them was not pleasant.

After a massage or in the evening Sauna - cleansing of salts, toxins and impurities. Recommended Hammam ( Turkish bath). In the morning you drink a lot of water, once I did Panchakarma without a bath and on the 5th day I felt an excess of water in my body.

Verichanabasti- cleansing of the gallbladder and kidneys on the 5th day. This is a separate part, based on the use of olive oil and lemon juice. I’ll put it in a separate part, because... there are contraindications.

Raktamokshana- therapeutic bloodletting on the 7th day, especially after Verichanabasti, many emissions will enter the blood, it needs to be purified by draining. I went to private clinic where they helped me do this, at first the blood was dark and thick, the needle got clogged, usually you get 2 syringes, I can’t say for sure, the end of the drain will be light blood.

Recovery

Chyawanprash 1 tsp. - a mixture of various herbs. Stresscom 0.5 tsp. 2 times a day. - sedative.

The decoctions and herbs used do not begin to act from the first day, but gradually, accumulating in the body day by day. After the end of panchakarma, they will be at their peak of action and last for 1-2 weeks, so try to remain vegetarian even after panchakarma.

I practice this technique every year, all methods have become the norm for me and do not evoke different emotions, only funny memories. After the first cleanse, the desire to eat meat disappeared, and lightness appeared in the body and mind. After the first, second, third cleansing, a weight loss of 5-3 kg was observed. The taste of food began to be felt brighter. I began to notice that people say my age with a difference of 5-8 years downwards. Emotions such as anger and cruelty have left my life. The fact that I stopped getting sick was important and influential. Although before Panchakarma I often had a fever in autumn, spring, winter, I am 100% sick. My hands and feet were often cold, but now they are warm. I forgot what a headache is.

I became more interested in health and started attending yoga. It’s not for nothing that they say “In healthy body healthy spirit". I see the need for everyone to do yoga; you can heal your body and work on your mind. After deep meditation, I realized that there is true happiness, my heart was filled with compassion for all living beings.

Therefore, I try to convey to people at least the basic things - proper nutrition and correct image life. Panchakarma helped me get out of the state of tamas; while in rajas, I see the path to sattva. I feel sattva.

Hello dear readers and guests of my blog! On my blog I write only what I have tried on myself and today I will share the experience of healing the body that I recently received. My video review about the Panchakarma course in India, prices for tours in the center of Kerala and Karnataka, Ayurveda doctors, contraindications and the effect that I personally received from ankylosing spondylitis. I tried various techniques to relieve the pains that bothered me greatly, and some gave noticeable and long lasting effect, but then the pain returned. This time I tried it new method, or rather very old, ancient method Ayurvedic medicine.

Panchakarma is a method of healing the body in ancient times. Indian medicine Ayurveda. Translated from Sanskrit, “Pancha” means “five”, “Karma” means “actions”. That is, these are five cleansing actions based on natural, natural ingredients including oil, herbs and other ingredients. My wife and I spent six months there and there I was able to experience all these procedures for myself. Follow the link above for a report on our life in Udupi.

These five procedures consist of :

  1. Vamana (emetic procedure).
  2. Virechana (purification gastrointestinal tract).
  3. Koshaya basti (colon cleansing).
  4. Sneha basti (colon cleansing).
  5. Abhyanga (oil massage with 4 hands).

There is also additional procedures, such as Shirodhara (third eye procedure) or, more simply, dripping healing oil on the forehead.
Nasyam (purification maxillary sinuses) and some others.

To this it can be objected that modern medicine has not reached heights far superior to those of the past? Of course, real medicine is quite effective, and acute diseases it can help better than Ayurveda. Because Ayurveda at its core is a way of life. “It is easier to prevent a fire than to extinguish it,” says Eastern wisdom. So here, if Ayurveda recommends, you can live without many diseases that arise due to poor lifestyle and nutrition.

Prices for Panchakarma Tours to India

Prices for panchakarma in India have a fairly wide range, from $400 in government hospitals and reach up to $10,000 in clinics aimed at Western tourists. I would not say that the higher the price, the better the quality of the course; sometimes it happens the other way around. After all, India is a country of contrasts, and the rules that are accepted as the norm in the ordinary world do not always work here.

In India, if a person does not have sufficient experience, he can be deceived at almost every step, from the cost of rickshaw travel (local transport) to even seemingly serious things like health.

But what can we say about India if in Russia in commercial medical centers, and sometimes in State clinics, when a person goes to a paid department, they try to get the maximum out of him. Therefore, it is very important not to make a mistake and undergo Panchakarma in a real Ayurvedic clinic, whose goal is not just to make money from you, but a real desire to help.

Good doctor in Panchakarma course

I saw that there are real honest ones good doctors Ayurvedas who do not base their lives on making more money. They carry out their activities not for profit, but for the sake of duty. They are driven by a real sense of compassion for their patients and a desire to help as much as possible.
I underwent Panchakarma with two different doctors and have the opportunity to compare. Both doctors were professionals in their field, all procedures were prescribed to me individually. Despite the fact that I persuaded and was ready to pay for additional procedures, both doctors categorically refused me. Arguing that they do not need money, and I will not receive any tangible benefit from the fact that they prescribe something to me according to my desire.

Personal experience of the Panchakarma Course

Abhyanga

My Panchakarma course began with oil massages. I would like to note that Ayurvedic oil massages are different from the massages that I am used to and expected. I sometimes undergo massage courses from various specialists and have some understanding of how it should be. Tried it different kinds massages, osteopaths, etc.

Indian massage was a little disappointing as I expected strong massage With painful sensations to reach every muscle.

But then I studied this issue and realized that oil massage in Panchakarma - this is not exactly the massage that we are used to and its goal is not to warm up the muscles, relieve spasms from pressure, but something completely different.

A special oil with an individually selected collection of herbs is rubbed into the body at a huge number, to lubricate the body, and not to act mechanically on the muscles. With very smooth movements, oil was rubbed into 4 hands from the top of the head to the heels. When oil is absorbed into the body through the skin, it has the property of a sorbent, i.e. it absorbs all toxins. For example, if you pour water on the asphalt, it will dry out and nothing will remain, but if you pour oil, the stain will remain almost forever. Likewise, in the body, the oil is absorbed and penetrates deeply, carrying with it healing herbs to the most inaccessible corners of the body and at the same time, taking away toxins, cleanses the body of excess dirt. The massage is followed by a steam barrel (sauna), the head is outside, and the body is steamed with wet steam, and all accumulated toxins are released with sweat. And then, with soap and warm water The remaining oil is washed off.
This procedure lasted me a week, then there was another type of massage.

Massage with herbal paste

They prepared a pasta especially for me from medicinal herbs, and then this hot paste was applied to my body, and again a steam barrel. Oil, herbs, steam and warm water, these are the main ingredients in Panchakarma, of course, plus special Ayurvedic medicines.

Virechana

Afterwards I was prescribed the Virechana procedure. The doctors categorically refused to do Vamana. Explaining that I have a certain problem with my body, Ankylosing spondylitis, and it is an imbalance of air in the body. Vamana will only make the problem worse. Virechana was also quite gentle, unlike the one that my friend took in parallel with me.

During the Virechana procedure, I drank Ghee oil (clarified butter) with herbs in the morning on an empty stomach, the procedure is not pleasant, unlike a massage.

On the first day it was a small amount, around 25-35 grams.
After drinking the oil, you should not eat until you feel oily burps. I had it until lunch and even longer.
And after it appears very severe hunger and the oil no longer burps, you can eat.
On the doctor's recommendation, I followed a diet, and my main food consisted of boiled rice or khichri (cooked rice with mung peas). No oil or minimum spices should be added to food.

The second day the test was more serious, I probably drank half a glass of butter and was forbidden to eat until the evening.

I felt a little nauseous that day, but I held on. In the evening I ate a little khichri.

Typically, with Virechana, you drink the oil for about 5 days, but again, everything is individual. I had 2 days. After this, I was given oil massages with a steam barrel again for 4 days.

The day of Virechana herself has arrived. In the morning, on an empty stomach, they gave me some kind of laxative mixture to drink, and I was ordered to go to the toilet all day)) On this day I had to drink water and go to the toilet.
You can eat a little in the evening special diet for this procedure. In general, you can only drink water from boiled rice, and nothing else. The next day the same.

Of course, the strength from such procedures went away, along with the toxins and poisons that had accumulated in my body over 32 years. After a couple of days my strength returned and I felt very good.

Basti

There was still an intensive course of Basti procedures ahead. These are two types of enemas, which are done alternately, every other day.
Sneha Basti is an oil enema, it is given on the same day. The next day, they give Koshaya Basti - this is an enema made from a decoction of herbs and other Ayurvedic preparations.

The procedure is also not pleasant, but what not to do for the sake of health.
The bastis lasted 16 days. I'm pretty tired of them. I also did not live in the clinic itself, but I had to go there by bus every morning.

For myself, I concluded that it is better to live directly in the clinic, it is much more comfortable, especially when such unpredictable procedures are performed.

Upon completion of the course, the doctor prescribed me medications to continue taking for another 3 months.

My result after completing the Course

What can I say, I got the effect, the pain decreased significantly. I stopped using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, but about complete healing I can't say. The doctor recommended that I take a similar course 2 more times within a year to consolidate and enhance the effect.
Last year, while struggling with my problem, Bechterew's Disease, I took a course of Dry Fasting for 11 days.
I got the effect of fasting, but I needed to repeat this method several times to consolidate the result. I didn't do this because it is quite a difficult procedure. The pain has returned, and now I have tried a more gentle Panchakarma method, which I will undergo periodically and maintain good health.

Panchakarma contraindications

Panchakarma, by and large, has no contraindications, with the exception of such individual cases as pregnancy, menstrual period, elderly or infancy, and also some very complex diseases.
In such cases, the doctor individually changes the course of standard procedures to absolutely safe but effective ones, since Panchakarma is not limited to only five procedures. Therefore, absolutely anyone can take the Panchakarma course.

How to choose a clinic

To obtain maximum effect from the Panchakarma course, it is very important to choose a real Ayurvedic clinic, and not a Spa - a hotel designed for tourists, of whom there are a dime a dozen in India.
In my case, everything was quite simple. My friend has visited more than 20 Ayurvedic clinics in India and completed the Panchakarma course more than 20 times. Therefore, I relied on his experience and recommendations.

If you want to receive good result and not to spend extra money, but to pay the real cost of the Panchakarma course, write to me in a personal message, or better yet, I will immediately redirect you to the website of the company, which was organized by my friend Ilya Gvozdev from Yekaterinburg, where you can get acquainted with several real clinics and choose the one that is more everything suits you. If it’s difficult to make a choice, write in the comments or private messages to me or to the Panchakarma Club company.

"Ayurveda: a person can and should be healthy!"

The main task of this ancient Vedic system from India is not only treatment, but also prevention of diseases. For achievement full health From the ancient point of view, a person needs a harmonious combination of body and mind, balance between personality and environment, harmony with the environment and one’s true nature. Everything around us: nature, people, animals, plants has a direct impact on our health. If you adapt to the world around you, live to the fullest and interesting life without allowing unrighteous deeds, negative thoughts, then you can achieve health and longevity.

Ayurvedic medicine treats diseases in four areas:

  • assisted therapy medicines ;
  • five (punch) actions(karma);
  • harmonization regime;
  • arranging way of life and thinking.

According to this Indian teaching, disease physical body is only a consequence of a violation of consciousness, damage to the mental shell, . If the disease is not eliminated at this stage, imbalance occurs coordinated work the whole body. It is intended to restore the lost balance and thereby provide a therapeutic effect cleansing according to Ayurveda, in particular Panchakarma.

Panchakarma - general cleansing of the body

Today, this method of cleansing the body of toxins is the most effective and popular all over the world. It is not without reason that famous VIPs and members of the government not only of India, but also of other countries regularly receive Panchakarma procedures.

Goals of Panchakarma

The goals of this system are the following:

  • cleansing the body of waste/toxins through sweat removal;
  • “inhibition” of the aging process, rejuvenation of the body;
  • improved vision;
  • cleansing the mind through eliminating stress;
  • restoration of the balance of the three doshas (Kapha, Vata, Pitta);
  • general improvement in mental and emotional state;
  • restoration of immunity;
  • into the spiritual creative development personality by opening subtle channels.

Five actions

As you already understand, Panchakarma in translation is five actions. What are these actions?

Treatments include:

  1. Vomit ( Vamana), caused by special herbs and drugs. Its goal is to eliminate excess kapha dosha (the entire system of Ayurvedic medicine is based on the “three pillars”, the so-called elements: air (vata), water (kapha), fire (pita). The individual constitution of a person is made up of the proportions of the doshas, diseases arise from Dosha imbalance)
  2. Therapeutic cleansing of the gastrointestinal tract ( virechana), due to which excess pita dosha is removed.
  3. Enemas using drugs ( vasti), eliminating excess vata dosha.
  4. Nasal drops or inhalation of medications through the nose ( nasya), helping to cure diseases of the head and neck.
  5. Bloodletting (rakta-moksha), which has positive effect for blood diseases.

These are the basic actions that were originally in Panchakarma. Later, as additional actions as needed, oil head massage () and relaxing massage using natural oils appeared.

All these procedures remove toxins, waste, free radicals and other waste products of the body.
