How food affects the human body. The influence of food on human health

In this article, I want to convey to every reader that it is imperative to know what you eat, when and why. It's no secret that the quality of food modern man, despite the abundance of goods in supermarkets, leaves much to be desired. The manufacturer strives to surprise the buyer not with quality, but with beautiful wrapping, taste, and quantity. Moreover, most of the modern person’s diet consists of high-calorie fast food (instant foods). These include: hamburgers, French fries, hot dogs, chips and crackers, sandwiches, buns fried in oil, instant noodles, bouillon cubes, grilled chicken, sausages, that is, anything that does not require long cooking.

Why is it so dangerous? fast food? The point is that it adds chemical substances, which add beauty (dyes), enhance the taste and cause addiction to this product (monosodium glutamate), chemical preservatives (formaldehyde, which is currently prohibited, etc.), causing a carcinogenic effect. Hence the massive addiction to fast food; these chemicals are a kind of drug for the brain. In addition to chemicals, fast food is dangerous because it is fried, and when frying (especially deep-frying), acrylamide is formed from the oil, which is carcinogenic substance.

Getting into the human body along with a fried, appetizing and beautiful crust on a piece of meat, fish, white meat, pie, they cause the formation of a tumor in the human body, not to mention the development diabetes mellitus, obesity. You will be surprised, but fast food can cause an attack of bronchial asthma, aggression, allergies and syndrome chronic fatigue.

Besides fast food, it is impossible to imagine a modern person without a cup of coffee. I’ll say right away that I’m not against coffee if you drink it wisely. The fact is that many, trying to save their time, are addicted to instant coffee. The main disadvantage of instant coffee is its weaker aroma than natural coffee. Therefore, many manufacturers add artificial or natural coffee oils to the product.

So, if, nevertheless, you are that modern person who cannot live without coffee, then you should drink it only after meals, as a dessert, and not in the morning on an empty stomach. The fact is that when we drink coffee in the morning on an empty stomach, we add stress after waking up, and then there will be no talk of any weight loss and healthy functioning of the adrenal glands. To make it clearer, I will have to step away a little from coffee and talk a little about our biorhythms, namely about sleep.

Sleep is the basis of health. It is during sleep that all our tissues and cells are renewed thanks to growth hormone (GH). This worker begins his work from 22:00 to 02:00. and, if we do not sleep at this time, then we deprive ourselves of updates. Now do you understand why many doctors say that you need to go to bed at 22:00-23:00?

In addition to GH, at night, closer to 5 am, its antagonist, cortisol, the stress hormone, resumes its activity. It can also be called a destroyer hormone or an invigorating hormone. Cortisol reaches its peak at 6-7 am, so it’s easier for us to get up at this time! But, if we don’t wake up at 6-7 in the morning, then it begins its work as a destroyer, and when you wake up and drink a cup of coffee on an empty stomach, you stimulate the adrenal cortex to produce more more cortisol, thereby driving the body into a state of stress in the morning.

After the adrenal cortex has increased the production of cortisol, the body is in a state of stress and its target becomes thyroid, which is responsible for many processes in the body, one of them is the maintenance of energy, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. Cortisol inhibits hormone production thyroid gland: T3 and T4. This slows down energy metabolism.

So what happens: plentiful food fast food, a large amount of fatty, high-calorie food while drinking coffee on an empty stomach will certainly lead to obesity. After all, the calorie content of the diet is huge, and exercise stress reduced to a minimum, since modern man is mostly sedentary, and the work of the thyroid gland is “inhibited” by caffeine. So how can you drink coffee to avoid such problems? After eating, 20-30 minutes later, treating it as a dessert, besides, you need to limit yourself to 1 mug per day.

In addition to fast food and caffeine, the problem of modern man is great amount fruits and berries all year round. The fact is that our ancestors did not know what apples and strawberries were in winter. They only ate them in the summer. The body has not yet evolved in such a way that we can receive such an amount of fructose all year round. Because when fructose enters the liver, most of it goes into fat. Moreover, it is not in nature for there to be berries and fruits all year round, so the manufacturer, deceiving nature, uses various chemicals to achieve the desired result. And all the chemicals in products enter our body, causing a number of diseases.

How difficult it is to be a modern person! You don't know what you can eat and what you can't. Where is the product actually natural, and where is it counterfeit? Drawing an analogy between our diet and the diet of our ancestors, the following conclusion suggests itself: the food was meager, but of high quality. In addition, our energy consumption is much lower than that of our ancestors, but the calorie intake is many times higher, hence the huge number of obese people.

Being a modern person and eating right is difficult, but possible! Everything depends only on you: if you want to be a healthy person and have healthy offspring, then don’t be lazy, eat right, and I will help you improve your diet. You can order healthy meals delivered to your home or office at

Usually we think little about how we eat and what the impact of nutrition is on health. We perceive eating as a kind of forced but necessary ritual that allows us to satisfy our hunger. At the same time, we try not just to satisfy it, but to eat as satisfyingly and tasty as possible, without thinking about the consequences. After all, many of our diseases are man-made diseases, that is, we ourselves have a hand in their occurrence. With better nutrition, we can significantly reduce diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, arthritis and others.

Food for humans is a source of energy and material for building body tissues. Biologically active substances, coming along with it, regulate metabolic processes. In addition, food contributes to the formation of human immunity. Therefore, to perform all these functions, food must contain all the necessary nutrients:

The quality of nutrition directly affects a person’s health. After all, the food we eat may contain sufficient quantity substances beneficial to our health or insufficient. In the second case, the deficit good nutrition may cause various kinds diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to learn to navigate among the many available products nutrition to properly plan your diet. All indicators of food quality are important for the human diet - and its energy value, and the contents of all nutrients.

The energy needs of the human body are formed as a result of its activities. How more people works, the more energy it consumes. Nowadays, when a person can, with a barely noticeable movement, turn on a machine that performs work that is beyond the strength of even a thousand human hands, the body spends less and less energy. It is not for nothing that the famous American cardiologist Raab called modern man an “active slacker.”

Scientists rightly believe that most people who are not employed physical work, should reduce the calorie content of your diet. At the same time, the amount of protein and a number of other substances in food, according to many scientists, should not decrease.

Of course, a person’s need for energy and the amount of nutrients depends on many factors: his body weight and the nature of his work, age, climate and gender. A person must receive so much food that the following balance is established (for an adult) in accordance with the law of conservation of energy: how much energy and matter is spent, so much is obtained from the outside. If this balance is disturbed, then either obesity or exhaustion occurs.

Therefore, having studied the influence of such basic components of nutrition as

One can only wonder how “ modern teaching about nutrition and food” narrowed our view of it! The ancient sages took a much broader view of food and what it brings to our body. They were not interested in proteins and carbohydrates, as well as the number of calories when it is burned, but, above all, information and energy affecting the body. It was these qualities of food that were taken into account when they spoke of it as a medicine.

Physicists' discovery of quantum fields—the energy underlying physical matter—has made it possible to understand ancient teaching about energy influence food on the human body.

To better understand this difficult but vital important issue, let me remind you how any substance, and therefore food, is formed. I'll start from the end to get to the beginning. There is some kind of food substance. It consists of molecules. Molecules are made up of atoms. Atoms consist of elementary particles - electrons, protons, etc. Elementary particles consist of quanta - this is something between energy and particle. Quanta form the basis of energy fields, from which elementary particles are formed. The human body in its fundamental principle has a quantum field template, which gives a prototype to the physical body. Quantum fields of one or another structure provide the basis for one or another organ, function, or structure of matter. Don’t be surprised by the special structure, shape and color of the liver. It is based on a special quantum field, which must perform the corresponding functions. The heart is based on a different quantum field and, accordingly, different functions. The situation is exactly the same with any other organ and tissue. human body.

The introduction of any food into the human body is the introduction of certain quantum fields that can nourish and strengthen the quantum fields of related organs, level out weakened functions, etc. With the help of nutrition containing certain quantum fields, one can successfully treat and strengthen weakened functions and organs, even rejuvenate the body.

Any food product contains its own quantum fields, which, when absorbed by a person, have a multifaceted effect on his body. Let's look at what this impact is.

Taste of food

The taste of food speaks about special properties energy contained in it. The tongue, as an organ of taste, will help in recognizing it. The energy contained in the product can have a beneficial effect on our vital functions, especially when there is not enough energy of this type in the body, and, conversely, suppress vital functions when there is an excess of it.

Classical Ayurveda distinguishes six basic tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent. These tastes act differently on the three vital principles underlying the functioning of the human body.

“Slime” leads the formation and fortress physical body(material mass of the body and its hormonal system).

“Bile” provides heating, digestion, immunity, vision and mental capacity.

"Wind" supports all circulatory and rhythmic processes in the body, mixing of contents in cells, blood flow, peristalsis, the onset of menstruation, the speed of human thought.

Sweet the taste is most medicinal, strengthens, increases body strength, promotes digestion, and has a low calorific value. Sweets promote healing of wounds, clarify the senses, and promote longevity. Products with a sweet taste are useful for children, the elderly and the weakened. In other words, it stimulates the life principle of "Slime".

Excessive consumption of foods with a sweet taste is harmful, as it leads to obesity, the formation of fatty tissue and diseases of the excretory system.

Sour the taste has a refreshing effect, stimulates appetite, promotes the crushing and digestion of food, fluid retention in the body, and makes the intestines passable.

Excessive consumption of acidic foods causes weakness, dizziness, swelling, and fever.

Salty taste has cleansing properties - removes hardened feces and accumulated gases, clears clogged blood vessels, maintains appetite, causes the secretion of saliva and gastric juices; Gives cold foods properties that warm the body. In other words, it stimulates the life principle of “Bile” and “Wind”.

Excessive consumption of salty foods leads to hair loss, premature gray hair, wrinkles, diseases caused by overstimulation life principle"Bile."

Bitter taste improves digestion and appetite, warms the body and stimulates the release of fluid from it, opens blood vessels, has thinning, dissolving properties; increases circulatory processes in the body, helps cleanse body cavities, especially the lungs; helps with poisoning, fainting, feverish conditions, clears consciousness.

Excessive consumption of bitter foods depletes the body, giving rise to diseases associated with overexcitation of the vital principle of “Wind”.

Burning the taste stimulates the body's calorific abilities more than others, increases appetite, is useful for throat diseases, heals wounds and severe skin abscesses.

Excessive consumption of foods with a burning taste has a negative impact on sexual function, leading to wrinkles, fainting, and back and lower back pain.

Astringent the taste dries pus, blood, bile, heals wounds, improves skin color, and greatly cools.

Excessive consumption of astringent-tasting foods dehydrates and cools the body, giving rise to diseases characteristic of the overexcited life principle of “Wind”.

These six tastes are perceived by the body in the oral cavity and immediately act on the quantum fields of the body. If the weakened are nourished, then we like this food and feel the need for it. Conversely, if it causes even greater imbalance, then no matter how good it is, we don’t want it.

After food will pass digestive tract, its taste changes, with the exception of sour. Thus, foods that taste sweet and salty become sweet; bitter, astringent and burning - bitter. Thus, from the six primary tastes in the body, three secondary ones are formed. This suggests that the remaining quantum fields of food are absorbed as they pass through the stomach and intestines.

Products forming secondary sweet taste, contribute to strengthening and increasing body weight. Excess sweets generate mucus, obesity and a decrease in the calorific capacity of the body. At the intellectual level, this is expressed in indifference and apathy.

Products forming secondary acidic taste, help increase the calorific, intellectual and digestive abilities of the body. Excess sour taste worsens blood composition, leads to ulcers, skin irritation, heartburn. The person becomes easily irritable and hot-tempered.

Products forming secondary bitter taste, help cleanse the body, stimulate life processes and lead to weight loss. Excess bitter taste can deplete the body's strength and dehydrate the body. On a mental level this leads to frequent appearance causeless fear, needless worry.

Let's add two more tastes to the classic Ayurvedic scheme: tart – similar to an astringent, thickens juices and cools; tasteless – moisturizes, softens and relaxes.

What can you achieve with this information?

1. Increase in bodily “warmth”. To do this, in one meal it is best to use products containing: hot - sour taste or sour - salty. The first combination of tastes, in addition to increasing the “warmth” of the body, will promote weight loss; the second, on the contrary, is weight gain (mainly due to water).

2. Increasing the “lightness” of the body. To lose weight and become more active, use the following tastes: bitter - hot, sour - hot. With the first option, mucus will be removed from the body, with the second, the calorific value of the body will increase (immunity, digestion, and intellectual “sharpness” will improve).

3. Increased “dryness” in the body. You can remove mucus and phlegm by using products with the following flavors: a) bitter – astringent; b) burning – astringent; c) burning - bitter. Moreover, in option a) along with “dryness” the “cold” qualities will increase, which is good for summer. In the last two, on the contrary, “warmth” will be added, which is good for the cold season, or for those who are constantly freezing.

4. If you intend to “cool down” the body, use foods with sweet or bitter – astringent tastes. In the first case, you can gain weight, in the second, you can lose weight.

5. If you want to gain weight (become “heavier” and “oilier”), use foods with salty-sweet or sweet-sour flavors. In the first case you can type, basically, adipose tissue, in the second - to build muscle.

If you feel normal, then try to eat foods containing all six tastes every day, without giving preference to any of them. Then food will harmoniously stimulate your energy.

Cooking in some cases can change the taste of the product. For example, the initial taste of onion is hot, but after stewing or boiling it acquires a sweet taste.

Sweet, sour and salty tastes have a mainly anabolic effect on the body (promote weight gain). Bitter, astringent and pungent – catabolic (helps reduce body weight).

Food in which bitter and pungent taste predominates raises the body's energy upward. This is good for people with reduced blood pressure suffering from poor blood circulation in the vessels of the brain. Such food is also good to use as an emetic to cleanse the body of mucus.

Foods with sweet and salty tastes direct the body's energy downwards. Therefore, similar foods (e.g. seaweed) is a good natural laxative.

If food with a sour taste promotes intestinal patency, then an astringent taste, on the contrary, causes spasms of the esophagus and makes the intestines difficult to pass.

Shape and consistency

With the discovery by physicists of the quantum reality behind every material object, the meaning of shape and consistency became clear. Simply put, behind every material object there is a subtle force, which at the quantum level gives them the appearance and other external features that they have. Changing the characteristics of this level leads to a change in the visible properties of objects. Naturally, this also applies to food.

So, if some human organ lacks its subtle properties, then by borrowing them from a plant or animal, they can be restored.

The ancient sages proposed the following classification.

Correspondence of plant parts to human organs

The root is the pole of growth, the stomach of the plant.

The trunk is the spinal cord.

Branches are nerves.

The leaves are light.

Flowers are the localization of excess power (reproductive organs).

Chlorophyll is blood.

Juice is energy that circulates through the nerves and turns into brain impulses, semen and other tissues.

Seeds, especially during the germination period, correspond to spiritual energy (Shen in Chinese or Kundalini in Indian philosophy).

Plant parts and treatable diseases

Roots – bone diseases.

The trunk is flesh.

Branches are vessels and veins.

Bark is skin.

Leaves cure diseases hollow organs" (stomach, gallbladder, small and large intestines, bladder and testes).

Flowers are sensory organs.

Fruits are “dense organs” (heart, lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys).

Distribution of positive and negative energy

The top of the plant is positively charged, and the roots are negatively charged. The part of the plant near the ground itself has balancing properties (the junction of positive and negative charges). The fruit is positively charged, and the tubers are negatively charged. In the fruit itself, the petiole side is negatively charged, and the flower side is positively charged.

The analogy with animals is even simpler: the heart corresponds to the heart, the liver to the liver, etc.

If we talk about the consistency of products , That:

1) lightness, sharpness, rigidity, dryness, mobility, scattering and clear will help give the body lightness, mobility, and weight reduction;

2) lightness, oiliness, moisture, fluidity, permeability, possessing pungent odor and spicy help increase calorific, digestive and intellectual abilities;

3) heaviness, oiliness, thickness, stickiness, mobility, slowness and turbidity strengthen the body and stimulate the hormonal system.

Naturally, oversaturation of the body with products of the first group dehydrates the body; the second will spoil the blood; the third will increase the amount of mucus above normal. Everything should be in moderation.

Information contained in products influenced by climate and place of growth

Any plant perceives all the information from the place in which it grew. In beautiful places with excellent climate and lighting, plants grow with harmonious qualities that perfectly nourish humans. If the climate is unbalanced, with frequent winds and bad weather, then personal traits plants are also unbalanced, and food prepared from them makes a person unbalanced. Plants grown in shady places next to standing water acquire the qualities of some inertia and excessive dormancy. Food from such plants inclines a person towards peace and laziness.

If the climate is too hot, then the plant fights this by developing the opposite – cold, watery – properties.

If a plant must endure unfavorable (cold) conditions, then it fights this by developing the opposite - warm, oily - properties.

A person who consumes products from the region in which he lives acts very wisely: with the help of the properties of the products it is possible to overcome unfavorable external conditions. Thus, he contrasts the summer heat with the cooling, watery properties of cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, berries, fruits, and melons. And vice versa, in winter, consuming grains, nuts, seeds, root vegetables, dried fruits (when dried, fruits acquire warm properties) in a raw and slightly heat-treated form, he contrasts these properties with cold and dryness.

All this has been noted folk wisdom and became firmly established in our everyday life. In the summer we enjoy eating okroshka (the sour taste retains water well in the body), fresh salads, drink soft drinks.

In winter, we do the opposite, giving preference to warm teas and herbal decoctions, dried fruit compotes, eating rich borscht, soups, vegetable stew, warm porridge.

So, if the food is whole, minimally processed, properly consumed and combined, everything will work out for the good. And vice versa, if a person, for example, living in Voronezh, follows a raw food diet in the winter - heavily consumes citrus fruits from Egypt, eats fresh salads, greenhouse vegetables, stocked up on apples - this contributes to hypothermia of the body, disrupts the mechanism of combating unfavorable foods with the help of foods. climatic conditions. And it’s no wonder that chilliness appears in the body, poor digestion, sluggish peristalsis, swelling and discharge liquid mucus from the nose.

The power of food on the human body

From practice we know that if we eat one substance, we will not feel any effect, but if we eat another, we can die instantly. This speaks of different influences quantum fields contained in food affect our body. Based on this, ancient healers distinguished four degrees of strength of influence.

If a person, having taken food (substance), does not detect any traces of its influence (that is, it does not heat, does not cool, does not dry, does not moisturize, etc.), this product (substance) is called balanced . When food has a slight cooling, warming or other similar action, then they say that the force of its influence is in I degree . If a product acts either with its heat, cold, dryness, moisture and other similar properties, but does not have a harmful effect on the body, then it is said that the strength of its effect reaches II degree . At strong action product, until the death of a person, they talk about III degree . If the use of a product or substance results in fatal outcome, then the strength of this product or substance is determined by IV degree .

Based on this classification, products with a balanced effect are used by humans for food; products with grades I and II carry out correction to counter unfavorable seasons, as well as in the fight against minor ailments; products and substances of III and IV degrees are used only as medicinal products in case of severe violations requiring strong opposite corrections.

Recommendations based on the impact of food on the human body

As we age, our digestion gradually weakens. So, in adulthood, we sadly remember that in our youth we ate everything and felt great. And now, having almost eaten or overeated on a holiday, we immediately feel problems in the stomach, heaviness throughout the body, and an exacerbation of chronic diseases.

Ayurveda, the oldest science of human health, believes that poor digestion is main source illnesses, and good things are praised as a guarantee of health. The sages of Ayurveda liked to repeat that a person who is able to fully digest food will benefit from poison, while with poor digestion one can die from the best food.

In this regard, it's time to talk about lectins - a variety of proteins that have adhesive properties. Literally all food products are saturated with them to one degree or another. Thus, Peter D'Adamo, author of the book “4 Blood Types - 4 Paths to Health,” claims that dietary lectins can glue blood cells together. The consequence of this is irritation of the intestinal tract, cirrhosis of the liver, difficulty passing blood through the kidneys and other diseases. Moreover, certain food lectins have a greater effect on one blood group or another. It is quite possible to admit the existence of this phenomenon. But the main attention should be paid not to blood, but to digestion. If human digestion cannot efficiently break down food into components and efficiently process them in the liver, then whole molecules enter the blood and cause gluing (aglutination) of blood cells to each other.

The sages of Ayurveda speak approximately of this phenomenon: poor digestion is the basis poor health and a breeding ground for disease. According to Ayurvedic concepts, there is “digestive fire” (agni) in the human body. If this “fire” burns brightly (as in youth), then food is digested well, without toxic waste (in Ayurvedic - ama). The body cells receive everything they need, and the body is generally healthy. If the “fire” is weakened, then food is not completely digested, a lot of toxic waste (ama) appears and the person is already predisposed to any disease.

In order to restore the extinguished “digestive fire” and further maintain it, there were many recipes. Some of them are based on the properties of certain plants and substances to “ignite” digestion in our body. Thousands of years of practice have shown that black and red do this best capsicums, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, mustard, horseradish, ginger, as well as salt and ghee. In terms of the strength of the heating effect, they are equal to products of the II and III degrees. Consequently, taking a small amount of the above products before, during or after meals stimulates appetite and enhances digestion. By restoring digestion, a person restores and normal health. That is why spices in Europe used to be worth their weight in gold. These products are best consumed during the cold season, for older people and those whose digestion is not active.

Boris Vasilievich Bolotov on modern style recommends using old, sick, damaged cells in order to increase the proportion of young and healthy ones. Latest research, based on the reflection and absorption of light by human skin, revealed the following: at the age of up to one year, the percentage of old cells does not exceed 1, at the age of ten it fluctuates between 7-10%, at the age of 50 it increases to 40-50%.

In other words, a person at 50 years old lives only at 50–60% of his capabilities, that is, exactly as much as there are young cells left in his body. Hence the natural desire to increase the percentage of young cells and reduce old ones.

But how to do that? Cell proteins are broken down by enzymes - pepsins - which are formed in the stomach. Absorbed into the blood along with gastric juice, pepsin-like substances dissolve old, diseased, cancer cells and cells of pathogens, without affecting healthy, strong cells.

In order to increase the amount of pepsins secreted in the stomach, Bolotov recommends (like the ancient Greeks) 30 minutes after eating food that has already been partially digested, putting about 1 g on the tip of the tongue table salt, then spit out the resulting saliva.

As a result, the salt reflexively begins to release gastric juice, which contains everything necessary elements to destroy old cells. But this is only one mechanism, and a secondary one. Salt, through taste, stimulates the “digestive fire” - the activity of all enzymes in our body, and they, in turn, actively decompose the old and unnecessary. Instead of salt, you can use “warming” products, ginger is especially effective.

Ayurvedic doctors recommend using a special ginger mixture to improve the body's digestive abilities. In a small enamel or ceramic bowl, grind four tablespoons of ginger powder with clarified ghee (100–150 g). Mix until smooth, cover and place in a cool place.

Take this mixture according to the schedule below every day before breakfast from following products: Herb tea warm, lightly stewed vegetables (necessarily warm) and some kind of hot porridge.

1st day – 0.5 teaspoon; 2nd – 1; 3rd – 1.5;

4th -2; 5th – 2.5; 6th – 2.5 teaspoons.

Then begin to reduce the intake every day by 0.5 teaspoons, so that on the tenth day you take, as in the beginning, 0.5 teaspoons. By following the above scheme, you will bring the “digestive fire” back to normal. At the same time, during the specified time (and after) do not use products with strong cooling properties: ice water, ice cream, chilled milk, fresh frozen berries, fruits, etc.

These recommendations are especially suitable for older people; This mixture is not recommended for young people and middle-aged people whose indigestion is caused by other reasons, and not at all by the natural “fading of the digestive fire.” A completely different method is suitable for them. But before you begin to describe it, you need to know your own constitution and only follow the recommendations based on it.

Individualization of your own nutrition

After we have learned a lot about digestion and nutrition, we must apply all this to ourselves. It seems that everyone’s digestion and body are approximately the same. But in reality there is a huge difference between us. One person's body is large and holds water well. The question is, does he need food products that carry excess water? No. You need products that will dry it out. Another person’s body retains water very poorly. This means that he needs products that provide moisture.

The following comparison: one organism perfectly produces internal heat - it is hot even in winter; the other is bad, and a person freezes in the shade in the summer. Consequently, the first needs cooling products, and the second needs warming products. Modern science about nutrition, she has a great understanding of the physiology of digestion, but these concepts are a completely new area for her. To operate with them, you need a completely new level of knowledge, but modern dietetics does not have it. But this knowledge was perfectly developed by the ancient sages in Ayurveda. I will use it, adding modern knowledge. The result will be a complete science about the nutrition of a particular person.

General information about the individual constitution

The doctrine of the individual constitution of Ayurveda and everyone in general ancient world based on three life principles (in Hindu - “doshas”): “Mucus”, “Bile” and “Wind” (in Hindu - Kapha, Pitta, Vata). This was discussed above. I also introduced you to the concept of the quantum field, which is responsible for giving shape to a living organism, calorific value and all the circulatory processes occurring in it. Based on this, the vital principle (dosha) of “Mucus” is responsible for maintaining the shape of our body (i.e. bones, muscles, tendons, endocrine system, from the functioning of which these properties are maintained in the desired shape). “Bile” – for all the calorific abilities of our body (thermoregulation, digestion, intellectual acuity, immune defense, metabolic activity in general). The life principle of “Wind” is for the speed of the most various processes in the body and their circulation (circulation of internal fluids: blood, lymph, etc., rate of tissue renewal, removal of toxins, movement of food through the digestive canal, speed of thinking, timing of menstruation, duration of pregnancy, etc.).

Our body is a combination of maternal and paternal life principles, which is obtained at conception. Moreover, the “Wind” in the body does not have any material elements and creates dryness and cold. The vital principle of “Bile” in the body is represented by liquid, caustic elements (bile, gastric juices), produces heat in the body. “Mucus” is all material formations; this life principle creates cold, mucus, and moisture in the body.

Now it is clear that if the life principles of “Wind” prevail in a person’s body, then such a person is thin, constantly cold, has poor digestion, and is timid. If “Bile”, then this is the owner of an average build, good digestion, grayish or bald, never gets cold and has a fairly sharp mind. If the life principle of “Slime” predominates, then the person has a strong skeleton, is prone to obesity, suffers from slow digestion, does not like wet weather, and is quite apathetic.

From poor nutrition, lifestyle and thinking, life principles become overly “excited” and cause their own specific disorders.

So, if “Wind” is normal - light body, a lot of energy, the intestines work easily and regularly, thinking is fast, all physiological processes that have their own rhythm occur in a timely manner (sleep, monthly cycle, pregnancy, onset of orgasm).

If the above life principle is in excess, then the person is constantly cold, overexcited, chaotic, disordered thinking, no memory, constipation alternates with diarrhea, all rhythmic processes are disturbed (insomnia, lack of regular menstrual cycle, prematurity during pregnancy, perverted duration of sexual intercourse towards shortening, etc.).

If “Bile” is normal - the body is warm, digestion and absorption of food is normal, the mood is high, the mind quickly grasps the essence of the problems, everything physiological functions: immunity, metabolism, acuity of sensations during orgasm are normal. The skin is healthy and beautiful.

An excess of the vital principle of “Bile” manifests itself in heartburn, ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, excessive sweating With unpleasant smell, rash on the body, dry nostrils, reduced immune defense. A person becomes easily irritated, always dissatisfied and makes sarcastic jokes at the expense of others.

If “Mucus” is normal, the body is unusually resistant to diseases, sexual activity lasts a long time, and everything happens on time; the joints are flexible, the fat layer is optimal; memory remains good.

Overexcitation of this dosha leads to “mucus” of the whole body, a decrease in calorific capacity, which in turn predisposes to colds and tumor diseases. The body gains excessive weight and swells with fluid. Digestion becomes sluggish. This is reflected in sexual function in early coldness, prolonged and “dim” sexual intercourse. A person loses interest in life, memory weakens.

Knowing the characteristics of your body and the properties of food, you can consciously, using the qualities of products, strengthen or reduce your life principles, achieve the best balance between them and be on the “crest” of health.

The mechanism of food’s effect on the doshas is as follows: at the cellular level, water is formed from food (providing the environment for life), carbon dioxide(regulates the pH of the environment, and through it the activity of all enzymes in the body) and protein substances.

Different products will have their own specific effects on these three parameters.

On reduction of fluid inside the cells of the body will be influenced by food with a bitter, burning and astringent taste ( fresh fruits, vegetables with a high content of potassium - a sodium antagonist), light and hard in consistency (dried fruits), cold and dry in properties (crackers) and, moreover, consumed in small quantities. All this leads to thickening of the body’s colloids. If a person has a pronounced constitutional type of “Wind” (Vata), that is, he is prone to fluid loss and eats the above foods, then he will “earn” weight loss, chilliness, constipation, and poor mobility.

On increase in fluid will be influenced by sweet, sour and salty food(cereals, dairy, cheeses, pickles, that is, sodium-containing products), heavy, soft in consistency (sour cream, cottage cheese), cool and watery in properties (milk), used in large quantities. All this will contribute to the retention of water by the body, filling liquid media with starch and protein (i.e. mucus).

If a person with a pronounced constitutional type of “Mucus” (Kapha), prone to water retention and weight gain, consumes the above products, he will quickly gain weight, lose calorific value and good digestion.

On increase in heat inside the body, and indirectly and intensifying metabolism will be influenced by food with hot, salty and sour taste(spices, pickles, fermentations), light and fatty in consistency (fried pork), hot and dry, and also oily in nature (potatoes fried in sunflower oil), consumed without any measure. The result is excessive production of bile (an indirect indication of increased breakdown of red blood cells), which “burns” blood, lymph, etc.

If a person with a pronounced “Bile” (Pitta) constitution gives preference to such food, then his calorific properties will become agitated, and this will be expressed in dry nostrils, heartburn, skin rashes, early graying or baldness.

How to brew tea correctly

It is believed that tea has a positive effect on a person, although many naturopaths are against it.

Tea increases concentration, has a revitalizing and calming effect, especially on the gastric mucosa. Scientists attribute this to the effect of caffeine in tea. In addition, tea contains vitamin B and fluoride, which are necessary to prevent caries. Many people react to coffee with heartburn or a feeling of fullness; tea has these side effects no, and tea has no calories either.

The water for brewing tea should be boiling, and if the water is rich in calcium, then it should be allowed to boil well for about three minutes and only then brew the tea.

In the first two minutes of brewing, the tea gives off greatest number caffeine and has a pronounced stimulating effect. This tea is good to drink in the morning.

If you brew it longer, and even more so if you let it brew, then they begin to release tannins, which bind caffeine. Now the tea will have a calming effect, and you can drink it in the evening for calm and relaxation.

Be aware that tannic acids in tea interfere with the absorption of iron in the body. Therefore, use it as a separate meal. This especially applies to those who suffer from anemia.

Tea has the ability to pick up foreign odors, so it is not recommended to store it near strong-smelling foods.

Human intellectual development and nutrition

Depending on the level mental development Every person adheres to some dietary recommendations or does not pay attention to them at all. This section is dedicated to people who want to improve mentally and spiritually. After all, food, through its effects, can elevate a person or turn his life into suffering.

Ultimately, all our nutrition is aimed at maintaining the most favorable living conditions in a cage. When we were able to balance our diet in such a way that the cells do not dehydrate, do not mucus, and nothing inside “burns out”, ideal metabolism occurs, then as a result, from properly digested food, a fine substance is obtained, which Ayurvedicists call “ojas”. The more ojas is produced within the cells, the more signals of bliss and happiness are sent to the brain. As a result, a person feels lightness in the body, cheerfulness, and a special kind of euphoria.

The production of ojas is facilitated, firstly, by proper digestion, which consists in the correct sequential consumption of food products belonging to the species and their combination. The food itself should be fresh, cooking over fire should be minimal, and the food should be consumed immediately.

Ayurvedicists call such nutrition “pure” (sattvic) and generally recommend combining all tastes in a balanced state, consuming a moderate portion at one time, drinking spring (protium) water, food should be light, easily digestible and soothing.

Sattvic (species) nutrition includes the following range of products: purified ghee; fruits and vegetables in season, as well as juices from them; whole grains and legumes, especially rice and wheat; nuts and seeds from your region; honey, protium water; and it is also recommended to consume cow's milk, but how separate appointment food or combine with flour products or cereals (from the point of view of proper digestion, this is an unsuccessful recommendation).

Since ancient times, Ayurvedicists have recommended the above food to everyone who wanted to have good health, long life, bright head and physical strength.

All other food, which contains little ojas, prevents normal course life, they divided into rajas and tamas.

The word “rajas” itself, even with a combination of sounds, indicates internal agitation, uncontrolled activity and aggression. Consumption of products that contain these properties “heats up” even more, which leads a person to violence and other manifestations of hidden or overt aggressiveness. People who have hidden tendencies towards aggression, psychological clamps of anger, etc., love food that indirectly activates them.

Rajasic foods include: meat, fish, eggs, salt, pepper, mustard, everything sour or hot, tea, coffee, cocoa, refined sugar, spices.

The word "tamas" characterizes a lazy, passive and weak-willed person. He is in apathy, and he likes it. He is too lazy to prepare normal food, and he is content with previously prepared food, stale products, etc. Similar products make him even more relaxed and lazy. So he degrades more and more, switching to feeding on scraps.

Tamas foods include: beef, pork, onions, garlic, tobacco, rancid, heated foods, all intoxicating foods and medicines.

And in conclusion, a few more Ayurvedic rules.

Maximum ojas production is facilitated by:

Eating food that is fresh, seasonal and grown locally;

Consuming most of your daily diet at lunch, when the “digestive fire” is most intense. Have dinner before sunset and a small one so that the food is absorbed before bed. Breakfast should be light;

Regularity of eating every day at the same time, but after you feel hungry. No snacking between meals;

Refusal to eat at night. This disrupts the circulation of energy within the body. In accordance with biorhythms, energy is in the stomach in the morning, in the small intestine at noon, and in the evening it goes to the kidneys and then to completely other organs that are absolutely not related to digestion. Consumption of food at night disrupts this rhythm; part of the energy must be transferred back to digestive organs, but this is not enough - you go to bed with undigested food, which contributes to the formation of ama (mucus) in the body;

Negative emotions harm digestion. Therefore, eat alone or with people to whom you are sincerely disposed;

Before and after eating, thank the Lord, offer food to Him first, and then eat yourself.

Many people have such strong eating habits, and they are literally “ossified” in them, that they do not want to hear anything about changing their diet or getting rid of harmful foods. They prefer to get sick and die, but not change their point of view on vicious nutrition. These people need to first reconsider their life priorities and positions. Then purify the field life form according to the method I proposed in the book “ Complete cleansing body,” and then try to change your diet.

Be smart and don't indulge your destructive taste habits.

Of all the factors acting on the human body, the most important is nutrition, which provides physical and mental performance, health, life expectancy, since nutrients in the process of metabolism are converted into structural elements cells of our body, ensuring its vital functions.

Eating disorders lead to negative consequences - diseases of the cardiovascular and gastrointestinal systems, oncology and metabolic disorders.

General characteristics of the influence of nutrition on the human body

A person’s physical health depends 50% on his lifestyle (diet, bad habits, professional conditions, etc.), 20% on the state of the environment, 20% on heredity and only 10% on medical care. It follows that human health is largely determined by his nutritional status and can be achieved and maintained only if physical needs for energy and nutrients are fully met.

It has been established that the main violations in the nutritional status of the Russian population are reduced to the following:

  • deficiency of complete (animal) proteins;
  • excessive consumption of animal fats;
  • polyunsaturated deficiency fatty acids;
  • severe deficiency of dietary fiber;
  • deficiency of most vitamins;
  • deficiency of minerals (calcium, iron);
  • deficiency of microelements (iodine, fluorine, selenium, zinc).

A deep deficiency in the nutritional status of the population is associated with vitamins, especially the antioxidant series (vitamins A, E, C, P-carotene).

The food of modern man does not at all correspond to the biological requirements of his body. The vices of modern nutrition are the consumption of more than necessary meat, fats, sugar, salt, irritating seasonings, alcoholic drinks etc. The high-temperature processing of products deprives them of vitamins and other biological valuable substances and gluttony became a disaster: as a result, many people have overweight. More than 40% of the total population is obese.

Naturopaths encourage periodic abstinence from food and the consumption of raw fruits and vegetables, which help the body in its vital functions. necessary processes, abstaining from meat food. Violation of these principles leads to poisoning of the body and the development of diseases.

According to the concept balanced nutrition representatives of official science suggest that a person choose food that would deliver to the body all the substances necessary for normal existence.

Note that food can be boiled, stewed, etc., but it is better not to fry, since the use of fats in cooking not only leads to an increase in calorie content, but also increases their carcinogenicity. Vegetable oils should not be hydrogenated.

The amount of food that is considered excessive according to accepted recommendations deserves special attention. For a single meal, 300-500 grams are enough, which are freely placed in the stomach, and the amount of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates contained in the food should be reduced by at least two times. The average calorie content should also be reduced to 1600-1800 kilocalories.

Main routes of admission toxic substances into the body: through the lungs (air pollution) and the digestive tract (contamination of drinking water, soil, food). Food can be a carrier of potentially dangerous toxic substances, chemical and biological nature. These include toxic elements: mycotoxins, ᴨȇsticides, benzopyrene, antibiotics, nitrates, etc. Toxic elements include 8 elements (mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, zinc, copper, tin and iron). The most dangerous of them are the first three: mercury, lead, cadmium. IN last years levels of environmental pollution with these salts have increased sharply heavy metals and their content in food products increased:

Fast food products can cause attacks of bronchial asthma, children develop aggression, and adults develop chronic fatigue syndrome.

Rational nutrition is nutrition that provides energy needs body and balanced intake nutrients.

It is customary to highlight the following types Not rational nutrition;

insufficient nutrition (malnutrition) - low intake of all nutrients and insufficient intake of calories from food;

unbalanced diet- disproportionate consumption of nutrients necessary for the body with adequate caloric content of food;

Excessive nutrition (overeating) - excessive intake of nutrients into the body.

Currently, malnutrition is relatively rare. Usually poor nutrition manifests itself in the form of an unbalanced and/or excessive supply of nutrients. Irregular eating is also common.

It has been proven that poor nutrition is the cause of major non-communicable diseases:

cardiovascular diseases; diabetes mellitus type II;

some types of neoplasms.

Poor nutrition is also significantly associated with the development of caries and osteoporosis. With a high degree of confidence, we can say that poor nutrition leads to the appearance of overweight bodies. Probably the development of many diseases gastrointestinal tract associated with poor nutrition.

According to the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, most Russians are characterized by an unbalanced diet. There is an increasing deficiency of animal proteins (especially among people with low level income), deficiency of polyunsaturated fatty acids against the background of excess intake of animal fats, severe deficiency of most vitamins and imbalance of minerals.

Energy value of food products and diet.

The food an individual consumes results in chemical reactions converted into energy. It is very important for the body to maintain a zero energy balance.

According to a number of experts, for a balanced diet it is necessary not only to maintain a zero energy balance, but also correct mode nutrition. Below are the basic dietary requirements:

· meals should be 4-5 times a day;

· you should not eat food between its main meals;

· it is necessary to exclude long breaks (more than 4-5 hours) between meals;

· Do not eat food immediately before bedtime (1 hour or less);

· energetically, you need to get approximately 25% of your food with breakfast, 35% with lunch, 15% with dinner, and 25% with other meals.
