You can purchase such ointments from online supplier sites, your local cosmetic store, or your local pharmacy. But did you know that making herbal ointment at home is not difficult?

The homemade ointment contains: three basic ingredients:

- herbs;
- oil;
- wax.

You can also add what you think you need. essential oils; calculated at approximately five drops per 30 g of composition. Here is a list of essential oils that are good to add to the ointment: lavender, tea tree, chamomile and myrrh.

Herbs

List of herbs traditionally used for homemade herbal ointment:

- calendula,
- chamomile,
- falling asleep,
- echinacea,
- ant tree bark,
- lavender,
- yarrow,
- St. John's wort,
- goldenseal,
- myrrh,
- plantain,
- comfrey.

Each herb has certain properties, which you can learn about by typing a query like “ beneficial features calendula."

You can make homemade ointment from either one plant or several herbs. When making ointments for babies or children, adhere to the rule “the simpler the better” - to avoid allergic reactions. Great herbs for baby ointments include calendula, chamomile and lavender.

It is advisable to purchase herbs from powder form, because fine grinding allows you to save more healing properties, thanks to their complete dissolution in the oil tincture. If you are using whole herbs, you need them grind using a coffee grinder.

Oil

The first step in preparing an ointment is to create an oil tincture. I strongly recommend using for this purpose olive oil. This oil has strong antimicrobial properties and does not turn bitter over time.

To make a tincture, add glass jar to the middle with finely ground grass. Fill the grass with oil so that it does not come into contact with air. But don't fill the jar to the brim! The grass will absorb the oils and swell.

Close the jar tightly with a lid and leave it on a sunny window for 2-3 weeks. Every day the bank needs chat so that the herbs are mixed with the oil. To make the infusion faster, cover the bottom of the slow cooker with a piece of cloth and fill it with water so that it does not leak out when you lower the jar into it. Place the jar in the pan, close the lid and set to low.

Hot water will speed up the process of extracting healing properties from herbs, saturating the oil with their color and smell.

Personally, I let my jars sit in the sun for a few weeks. After that, I heat them with heat and leave for another couple of days. This gives my ointment a beautiful dark green hue, indicating high concentration herbal extract and provides maximum healing effect.

After your oil has infused, you need to strain it through gauze, folded in half or three.

Wax

In order to homemade ointment It was hard and needed wax. Beeswax works great for this purpose, but if you are a vegetarian, you can use carnauba wax or candelilla wax, which are based on... herbal ingredients. For a cup (200 ml) of oil tincture, use 30-60 g of wax, depending on how hard you want the ointment to be. If you live in a warm climate, you may want a firmer product, and vice versa if you live in a cold climate.

Once you've added the wax to the oil, heat the entire mixture over low heat, stirring slowly until completely dissolved.
An easy way to determine if you have reached the desired hardness of the ointment is to drop a small amount of the liquid mixture onto wax paper. After the mixture has cooled, taste it by touch. If it is hard at first, but melts on your finger, then the ointment is ready and can be poured into containers.

At this stage I add to my ointment liquid vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract - just a couple of drops per cup of oil. These ingredients act as natural preservatives and increase the shelf life of the ointment.
ordinary

All that remains for you is to pour the mixture into containers and let it cool. You can use half-liter glass jars.

To look attractive and irresistible, a woman puts in a lot of effort. Since the time of Cleopatra, the better half of humanity has used beauty recipes given by nature. The experience gained by previous generations is widely used today. This indicates that folk recipes time-tested.

Making nourishing cream at home is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. Any housewife has all its components. Those that are not available can be easily purchased at the pharmacy (herbs) or at the market (beeswax). In addition, you can choose them yourself based on your needs. The main thing is to stick to proportion.

A nourishing cream based on medicinal herbs, prepared by your own hands, will become an indispensable assistant in skin care. Thanks to its thick structure, it nourishes the skin well and regulates its moisture level. Herbal supplements promote rapid cell regeneration and stimulate blood circulation. The soft melting texture of the cream is well absorbed, leaving a light, pleasant aroma.

To prepare nourishing cream at home you will need:

Olive oil.
Beeswax.
Sea buckthorn oil.
Tea tree essential oil (2 – 3 drops).
Herbs: nettle, chamomile, thyme, mint, sage, St. John's wort.
Honey.
Two containers (for a water bath).
Two glass (ceramic) containers for heating the base.
Spoon for measuring and mixing ingredients.
Glass containers for packaging finished cream.

Preparation of infusion.

First you need to prepare a herbal tincture (infusion) based on olive oil. Infusion, it is also called macerate, healing herbs, infused with an oil base. When infused, the oil, in addition to its properties, “absorbs” the properties of medicinal herbs.

Fresh and dry herbs are used for tincture. The oil must be first cold pressed (this information is on the label).

Place nettle, thyme, chamomile, sage, St. John's wort and mint herbs in equal quantities in a glass container and pour in oil. There should be a layer of oil above the surface of the herbs. Wrap the container in paper (cloth) and leave to infuse for five days at room temperature. Shake the jar with its contents periodically.

Preparation of the decoction.

Place equal amounts of herbs in a glass container and fill with water. To put on water bath and stand for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Preparing the cream.

The preparation of any cream consists of two phases, fatty and water. The fatty phase includes oils and waxes. In water - an infusion of herbs and essential oils.

The principle is that after heating the fatty phase to a certain temperature, an aqueous phase heated to the same temperature is gradually introduced into it. This cream consists of 40% oil phase and 60% water phase.

To prepare 50 grams of cream, you will need: wax - 4 gr., infusion -13 gr., essential oil- 3 gr., decoction - 25 gr., honey - 5 gr.

Put a pre-filtered infusion in a water bath. Add sea buckthorn oil to it. Heat to 60° C. Add the liquid phase and honey in small portions with continuous stirring.

At the same time, melt the wax in a separate container in a water bath. Bring its temperature to 60°C while stirring.

Add oils to melted wax. Mix.

Remove from the bath. Cool to 40°C. Add tea tree essential oil. Mix again.

Try making your own ointment at home with the addition of medicinal plants. It won't be difficult.

But first, let's figure out what ointment is and how to prepare it correctly.

What is ointment?

Ointment is a medicine for external use.

The ointment contains active substance(there may be several of them) and the so-called ointment base.

Various medicinal plants can be used as active ingredients. They are first finely ground or added to the ointment in the form of a decoction or infusion of very high concentration.

As a base for preparing the ointment, you can use Vaseline, wax, pork fat, butter or vegetable oil or mixtures thereof.

Place the ointment base or its components in a dry, clean container. If the ointment base is complex and contains several substances, for example, pork fat, wax and oil, they are melted together in a water bath and mixed thoroughly.

Powder or herbal infusion is gradually introduced into the cooled base. In this case, the ointment is continuously ground using a wooden spoon or pestle. It is better to stir in one direction to avoid separation of the ointment.

In May, the most popular means- "Sealex forte" and "Ali caps". Rospotrebnadzor banned their sale. However, buyers switched to dietary supplements-clones “Sealex forte plus” and “Ali caps plus”.

"Sealex Forte" and "Ali Caps" at the beginning of 2016 topped the rating of dietary supplements (biologically active additives) to increase potency. According to the DSM Group agency, which monitors sales in pharmacies, these two supplements occupied 65% of the market (if you count in money).

But in May, the manufacturer, the RIA Panda company, began to have problems. By order of Rospotrebnadzor from pharmacies. The department reported that the decision was made after the Committee for the Protection of Consumer Rights of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan revoked the state registration of both dietary supplements. It was on the basis of these documents that funds were sold on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, including Russia.

The reason was the presence of tadalafil in these dietary supplements, a substance that is prohibited for use in dietary supplements (it can be used, for example, in the manufacture of prescription medicines). The management of "RIA Panda" is due to the "intrigues of competitors."

As a result, competitors really improved their positions - this follows from DSM Group data. For example, "Viardot" (manufacturer - Ecology of Life LLC) rose from fourth place in the top 10 to first. If in April the company's revenue for sold additives was 13.5 million rubles, then in July it increased to 14.5 million rubles.

“Lovelace Forte” also significantly improved its position - 10 times. In April, dietary supplements occupied less than one percent of the market, now - almost 11%. The revenue of the manufacturer, LLC NPK Plant Resources, increased from 5 million rubles to 22 million rubles.

"RIA Panda" created clones

However, RIA Panda still occupies a huge part of the market - 34.6%. The company succeeds in this thanks to dietary supplement clones. "Sealex Forte" was banned - but there is "Sealex Forte Plus". And instead of the banned Ali Caps, you can buy Ali Caps Plus.

The company began selling Sealex Forte Plus and Ali Caps Plus back in January 2016, said the head of the service. strategic marketing company "RIA Panda" Sergey Kirillov.

Both dietary supplements with “pluses” were registered with Rospotrebnadzor in September 2015 (Life has copies of the certificates).

According to DSM Group, if in April RIA Panda received revenue of 105 million rubles for dietary supplements without “pluses,” now it is 95 million rubles for dietary supplements with a “plus” in the name.

Despite the similar names, the additives are different in composition. For example, "Sealex forte" is extracts of yohimbe bark, ginseng root, green tea, licorice root, dwarf palm fruit. Sealex Forte Plus also contains extracts of licorice root, ginseng root and dwarf palm fruit, but there is no yohimbe bark extract, but there is an extract of eurycoma root. But buyers, of course, look at the brand, and do not look in encyclopedias for a list of properties of eurycoma.

Banned dietary supplements are still sold

At the same time, you can also buy the prohibited Sealex Forte and Ali Caps.

According to DSM Group, 7 thousand packages of the banned Ali Caps were sold in June, and 1.8 thousand packages in July. The DSM Group suggested that pharmacies were selling leftovers, and RIA Panda said that they did not know why sales were being recorded.

DSM Group has no data on the sale of the banned Sealex Forte in pharmacies. But Life checked: online pharmacies have both prohibited additives. We easily ordered Ali Caps on the apteka-for-men.ru portal.

Yes, this is exactly the old Ali Caps,” said the site coordinator. - Yes, it’s hard to find in regular pharmacies. Whether there will be new deliveries is unknown.

And on the website vitaminas.ru we easily found and ordered “Sealex Forte”. When asked about the legality of the sale, the site coordinator replied:

We are nothing official documents didn't receive it. The supplier told us that we can sell at our discretion. There have been some problems there since May, but they seem to have been recalled only in Kazakhstan. So don't worry, selling it is not prohibited.

Should we expect the supplements Sealex Forte and Ali Caps to return to the legal market? As Dmitry Dergachev said, RIA Panda intends to prove that the claims against its dietary supplements were unfounded - including through court. He continues to insist that all the problems are due to the machinations of competitors.

The market is growing because potency is falling

In general, the volume of the dietary supplement market for male potency increased slightly - in April it was equal to 178 million, in July - 206 million rubles.

Of course, after the disappearance of the market leaders, we can assume that other manufacturers became more active and began to work actively to fill the niche of Sealex and Ali Caps,” said Leonid Maryanovsky, director of the non-profit partnership “Producers of Bioadditives”. - Most likely, the market is growing because of this.

Sexologist Vladimir Fainzilberg believes that manufacturers of dietary supplements for increasing male potency have quite real reasons fight for the consumer.

In our time, when not the most best products, the environment is bad, and if you also use tobacco, alcohol and drugs, men lose their sexual power after 35 years. Medications to increase potency (for example, Viagra) have a lot side effects. And dietary supplements, if they don’t bring any benefit, at least definitely won’t do any harm. Therefore, they are very popular, and this popularity will not go away soon.

At the same time, previously the President of the Professional Association of Sexologists, Evgeniy Kulgavchuk, said that the effectiveness of dietary supplements has not been proven.

Since dietary supplements do not undergo the same clinical trials as pharmaceuticals, many of them are dummies and work in placebo format,” said Evgeniy Kulgavchuk, president of the Professional Association of Sexologists. - Others can have an unpredictable effect.
