Let's return to the method of Jose Silva, which says that you need to be guided by your inner voice and this voice is the voice of intuition. As I already said, intuitively we can only guess events that are very simple in structure.

Let's look at the glass technique, which helps solve the problem in the best way. All you need to do is drink half a glass of water before going to bed, formulate a request, and the next morning drink the remaining half a glass to formulate a request. If the book really told the truth, then we would see confirmation in the scientific community - by awarding one of the prizes to a follower of the Silva method. Therefore, this story (a review from one of the followers of the Silva method) is nothing more than fiction, or a lucky coincidence, an accident. Which should not be considered as a pattern.

For example, if I say that the method is: “To solve any situation, just lie down and do nothing, and the situation will solve itself.” It really could happen that it will work. Maybe in one of thousands of situations it will actually turn out this way. Will this technique be effective in other cases? Unlikely. Should I recommend it to everyone - no.

If I was able to resolve the issue in this way, this does not mean that others need to resort to the same methods. What is important is not the cases that confirm the methodology, but the percentage of the total number. If the technique works in more than 10% of cases, then it already has the right to life.

ENTERING THE ALPHA STATE

Jose Silva has studied in detail the connection between both hemispheres of the human brain. In the process of studying, he came to the conclusion that most people use primarily the left hemisphere. It is responsible for the logical component of thinking. In turn, the right hemisphere is more associated with creativity, intuition and imagination. In order to reach the peak of your potential, you need to learn to use both hemispheres, as successful people do. They do it easily because they think at the level of alpha waves.

Alpha represents the level at which brain waves function at half their frequency when fully awake. The waking brain is capable of producing 14-21 energy pulsations per second. This state is called the beta level and is intended for active activity. The alpha level is considered ideal for thinking. Unfortunately, an ordinary person, when his brain reaches this state, falls into sleep. The moment you fall asleep, your brain enters alpha and then theta and delta levels. During sleep, these states change in the form of ebb and flow. Such cycles last approximately ninety minutes.

In the morning, when you wake up, you go through the alpha level, gradually returning to the waking state, which corresponds to beta frequencies. Obviously you have a certain amount of time to program.

To enter the alpha state, you need to go to the bath after waking up and return to bed. Then you need to set the alarm clock so that it rings in fifteen minutes. Close your eyes and lift them up 20 degrees towards your eyebrows. Practice shows that this procedure facilitates the transition to the alpha state. Start counting slowly from one hundred to one. When you reach the end, imagine that you have achieved success. Try to remember a moment when you were at the peak of success. Feel all the details of that moment, down to the smells and tastes. Tell yourself that you are getting better every day. Then tell yourself that when you count from one to five, you will feel great when you open your eyes.

Now let us explain a little the sequence of actions during this procedure. A bath is necessary for relaxation, since the brain cannot fully relax if the body is tense. By raising your eyes 20 degrees, you activate the right hemisphere and your brain begins to produce more alpha rhythms. Plus, counting down relaxes your brain, while counting forward activates it.

The mental image in your head is that of success. It creates exactly what you want to achieve. At the same time, in a relaxed state, images and words program your brain. A direct count from 1 to 5 gives him the command to become active.

If you want to consciously operate at the alpha level when you need it, take advantage of the forty-day program to develop this ability. The first ten days count from 100 to one, from the 11th to 20th day - from 50 to 1, from the 21st to 30th day - from 25 to 1, and the last ten days - from 10 to 1.
