How to cook healthy and tasty red rice. How to cook red rice How to cook ruby red rice in a slow cooker

Rice is the most popular product of many, sometimes dissimilar, national cuisines. But more often in this case they talk about white rice. But how to cook red rice is a question that raises certain doubts due to the somewhat “exotic” nature of this type.

Nevertheless, colored varieties of rice are increasingly appearing on store shelves. Perhaps the red product is in greatest demand (Fig. 1).

Before you learn how to cook it correctly, you should pay attention to its nutritional benefits.

Rice. 2. Nutritional value of red rice.

Red rice is a fairly old type of this crop. It has been grown in ancient civilizations, mainly in Asia. Moreover, he occupied a privileged place in his family, since members of royal families, as a rule, ate it. Since ancient times, red rice has been valued for its healing properties: it was actively used in oriental medicine.

It is cultivated in different countries of the world today. The most famous are its varieties:

  1. Short grain rice Camargue (southern France). As a result of cooking, it becomes slightly sticky.
  2. Himalayan red rice (India). The soft grains of this type have a complex, spicy aroma.
  3. Rice Rubin (India). Used for food and as part of religious rituals.
  4. Thai red rice (Thailand). It has a refined taste with a pronounced aroma of flowers.
  5. California ruby (USA). It has a more saturated (burgundy) color. Prized among gourmets.

Despite all the differences, all red varieties have common properties: rich in dietary fiber (Fig. 2) and high content of anthocyanins in the shell - natural pigments that give the crop its original color.

A wide range of dishes are prepared from red rice. It is good both as an excellent side dish for meat, poultry, fish, and as a separate dish in combination, for example, with mushrooms or vegetables. In addition to its pleasant, sweet taste and good digestibility, this rice also has health benefits.

Product benefits

The increased interest in red-grained varieties is explained not so much by the fact that it is simply delicious, but by the high healing potential of such rice and its role in organizing a healthy diet.

Nutritionists note the product’s balance in vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, and lipids. Red rice is officially classified as a food product that helps increase immunity, reduces the risk of the occurrence and development of cancer and cardiovascular diseases, and normalizes digestion.

Particular mention should be made of anthocyanins—glycoside pigments that can only appear in the human body with food. These are very energetic antioxidants that effectively bind oxygen radicals and prevent rapid aging and cell death.

Since anthocyanins are mainly concentrated in the bran shells of grains, unpolished (lightly polished) products are especially valuable for a healthy diet.

A wide variety of dishes can be prepared from red grain cereals. But regardless of this or that recipe, it will be tasty only if the rice cereal is properly boiled.

First of all, you need to keep in mind that red varieties take a little longer to cook than white varieties. But you should not be afraid that such rice may be overcooked, since this will be prevented by the previously mentioned unpolished shell of the grains.

Today, many manufacturers of this valuable product specifically indicate in their instructions how to prepare it in such a way as to preserve all the beneficial taste and healing properties. But the differences here are minor. Moreover, the basic rules for how to cook red rice are so simple that they can be followed even by absolute beginners.

To begin with, dry rice should be cleaned of foreign impurities and dust. In search of foreign grains, it is sorted in the same way as any other rice. Cleaning is completed by washing (several times) in clean water.

You can cook rice in a slow cooker or in an ordinary saucepan (preferably with a thick bottom). The cereal is poured with boiling water (for a glass of rice grains - approximately 500-550 ml of water). In this case, you need to make sure that the boiling water covers the layer of cereal by at least two fingers.

Then the contents of the pan are salted and boiled. After the water boils, you need to reduce the heat and remove the foam from the water surface. Next, cover the pan with a lid and continue to cook the rice for 30-40 minutes.

Rice. 3. Rice with shrimp and green beans.

Many chefs note that the cooking time depends on the characteristics of a particular variety. But people who know how to prepare rice grains for their further use in various dishes usually wait until the water completely disappears (evaporates) from the surface of the rice. The grains themselves should be soft and well cooked.

Even if you know in general how to cook red rice, you should not neglect the following “little things”:

  1. Pre-soaking red rice (before cooking) reduces the time it takes to fully cook the product. Also, soaked rice becomes lighter in color when cooked.
  2. The rice dish is especially tasty if you sprinkle it with lemon juice (lime juice) before serving.
  3. Ready boiled rice can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than three days. In this case, it should be in a container under the lid.
  4. If you have a healthy diet, it is better not to add meat gravy to boiled red rice. In this case, the dish will be too high in calories.

Many housewives are confused by the dirty red color of the water that appears after boiling. It can be changed after 5 minutes of boiling. To change the water in the pan, prepare boiling water in advance.

By soaking rice, the dirty color will go away without cooking, and the cooking time will also be reduced.

What to serve with the side dish

  • After cooking, you can add olive oil or butter to the rice.
  • Red rice will take on a special flavor if you sprinkle it with freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice before serving.
  • Since the finished side dish itself will be high in calories (350 kcal per 100 grams), a salad of fresh vegetables, boiled vegetables or mushrooms will be appropriate for it on the table.

For breakfast, we serve fruit with this side dish, and store boiled red rice in a plastic container with a lid in the refrigerator for no more than 3 days.

If the steamer has a timer, set the cereal cooking mode; if there is none, set it for 30 minutes.

How to cook in a microwave (microwave)

To cook in the microwave, we need heat-resistant dishes (glass or clay).
We wash the rice and fill it with cold water and put it in the microwave. Be sure to cover the container with rice with a lid made of the same material.

Set the timer for 15 minutes. After stopping, stir the rice and start the microwave again for 15 minutes.

Microwave with timer “power”

In a microwave oven with the ability to set power:

  • We set it to 900W, 3 minutes with the lid open + 15 minutes with the lid closed.
  • We set the power to 300W, 8 minutes with the lid open + 15 minutes with the lid closed.

After stopping the gadget, salt the rice, add oil, mix well, close the pan with a lid and, leaving it in the microwave or wrapping it in a towel, let the side dish finish cooking. For this we need about 15 minutes.

Cooked dev-jeera will always surprise you with its culinary qualities and taste, whether in a salad or as a side dish. Cook without complications and enjoy! Bon appetit!

In Ancient China, only very wealthy and authoritative residents could afford red cereal. It was preferred for its beneficial minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.

According to the presented circumstance, this species is not processed in any way, which guarantees the amount of necessary and nutritional properties of this product.

Red long grain rice is especially appreciated. How to prepare this product? Where to apply? These are the main tasks, the solution of which will make it possible to make the use of rice healthy and beneficial.

Peculiarities

Each type of rice has its own characteristics. To understand how red rice differs from its “relatives”, you need to understand what other types of cereal there are.

  • Regular white rice– the most popular. The polished grain is cooked in 20 minutes, however, the vitamin content is lower than in other types. Pilaf is most often prepared from this rice.
  • Dark rice- the first in terms of the number of necessary microelements, however, its preparation takes 40-50 minutes. The grains are quite hard, for this reason they should be soaked for several hours before production.
  • Brown or brown rice– a favorite of those who care about their figure and watch their weight.

  • Using unpolished red rice Harmful substances are removed from the body, and the benefits of such a product are no less than those of dark grains. The cooking time for this variety is approximately 25 minutes. The energy value of the product is 350-410 kcal per hundred grams. The color of the grains can be of different colors: reddish, purple or burgundy. Of course, the inside of the grain is white, only the shell is red.

Benefits and harms

Cereal has a positive effect on the condition of the skin and prevents its aging. When consuming this product, the level of bad cholesterol decreases. Rice satisfies hunger well, which prevents you from overeating. It is an antioxidant and does not contain gluten - the cereal can be consumed by both children and allergy sufferers.

The disadvantages include the fact that the food is quite high in calories. Obese people should limit their consumption of this dish. However, eating a large portion of it is quite problematic. Diabetes patients need to know that red cereal can cause an increase in sugar.

How to cook?

Approximately 800 ml of water and half a teaspoon of salt are taken into a mug of seed. Before cooking, rinse well in cool water. Next, the cereal is poured with hot water, salted and boiled over low heat for about forty minutes. Usually the cooking time is indicated on the package. It is difficult to digest such grains, so you don’t have to worry about it.

The water should boil away and the grain should become tender. Next, turn off the heat and leave the cereal to steep for 20 minutes. You can supplement the dish with a small amount of butter or olive oil. The porridge is quite high in calories, but not heavy at all. It is served with vegetables (you can also add fruit). Combination with red fish and beef, chicken is allowed.

  • We sort out the grain from the dirt.
  • Wash under cold water until the water is completely transparent, then pour into a thick-walled pan.
  • Add water; it must cover the grain by 2 fingers.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Let the water boil.
  • Remove any foam that has arisen and turn the gas to minimum. Thus, we cook the grain for forty minutes.
  • Leave the finished red cereal under the lid until it is completely swollen. If the water is cloudy after cooking, it is recommended to pour a new portion of boiling water over the rice.

When the rice is ready, you can pour olive oil or butter over the porridge. Red cereal will get a special taste if you sprinkle it with fresh lime. Fruit goes well with this side dish for lunch.

Making in a slow cooker

Pour the washed cereal into a multicooker bowl, fill with warm water, add salt to taste. Select the multicooker position to the “Rice” position. If the multicooker does not have a similar mode, choose another one - “Porridge” or “Buckwheat”. When the product is cooked, a sound signal should sound indicating readiness. Remove the tray from the multicooker, add salt and pepper to taste. Add vegetable oil or olive oil. Stir everything thoroughly, cover with a lid and let sit for 5 minutes.

Cooking "Ruby" rice

From a significant list of rice types, it is necessary to note the “Rubin” variety of cereals. Its color is determined by the presence of a bran layer, which makes it possible to eliminate the deformation of the grain during heat treatment. That’s why this dish has a pleasant nutty smell.

Since red rice is not processed, a huge amount of fiber is stored in its grains, as well as important minerals and trace elements. If you can classify yourself as a person who follows the principles of proper nutrition, then this recipe is for you. It is designed to reduce the level of free radicals, and in addition, reduce and inhibit the formation of cancer cells. This contributes to good prevention of cancer.

Compound:

  • 1 cup rice;
  • 50 grams of butter;
  • salt;
  • 600 ml water.

First, dry red rice must be cleaned of small stones and other grains. To do this, rinse the grains under hot water. Next, fill the cereal with cool liquid, keeping the proportions 1:3. This is the difference with the recipe for preparing long grain rice - it uses 2 parts of water. After putting it on the fire, you need to wait until it boils and after fifteen minutes add salt. Cook the rice until cooked, this may take from fifteen to thirty minutes. Next, add butter, and a delicious and healthy side dish is ready.

The cereal product of the “Ruby” variety undergoes only the peeling procedure, without being subjected to grinding, therefore it contains the maximum amount of useful components and has a beneficial effect on health. But only if you know how to cook red rice will it retain vitamins, minerals and fiber in the required amount.

It is almost impossible to digest the component, but this does not mean that it can be kept in boiling water for a long time. Despite the density of the finished product, its upper shell is quite soft, so it is easily digested by the digestive tract. It’s quite simple to prepare a tasty and healthy side dish from such rice, but you still have to learn a few rules.

Features of red rice that you need to remember

Before including Ruby rice in your diet, you need to familiarize yourself with a number of important points that can help you get the maximum benefit from the product:

  • The benefits of the product are mainly due to the characteristics of the chemical composition of its shell. Therefore, no matter how long the component is cooked, it is not recommended to stir it too actively and often. This can cause fiber and other important chemicals to peel off. In general, this kind of rice doesn’t need to be stirred at all. If you choose the right proportion of water, the grains will not stick together.
  • It is not necessary to prepare a traditional side dish from grain. If you combine the product with milk and dried fruits, you can get a tasty and original dessert dish.
  • It is recommended to sprinkle the finished product with lime or lemon juice before serving.

Tip: To reduce the cooking time of the component, you can pre-soak it in a small amount of cold water. It is worth considering that with this approach, the finished grains will become slightly lighter than usual.

  • The finished side dish, provided there are no additional components, can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered.

If you cook Ruby rice according to all the rules, then pretty soon its consumption will have a positive effect on the condition of the digestive tract, lower blood sugar levels, speed up the elimination of bad cholesterol from the body, and even promote weight loss.

How to properly cook red rice?

To cook the product in the traditional way, for a glass of red rice you need to take 2.5 glasses of water, a tablespoon of butter or vegetable oil, and a little salt to taste. The manipulation itself will look like this:

  • First, the “Ruby” must be carefully sorted, removing the husks and possible pebbles. After this, rinse the component several times in cold water until the liquid remains completely clear.
  • Place the mixture in a colander, and after the excess liquid has drained, transfer it to a saucepan with a thick bottom.
  • Fill the product with hot (!) water. We use a ratio of 1 to 2.5 - the liquid should cover the cereal by about 2 cm. Immediately add a little salt to taste.
  • Place the container on high heat and wait until the mixture boils. After this, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and boil the component for 40 minutes. From time to time we check the contents for the presence of foam and remove it.
  • If after the specified time the product has not yet reached the desired condition, we extend the processing for another 10 minutes. Ideally, all the liquid will be absorbed into the grains. The maximum cooking time is 1 hour 20 minutes.

Regardless of how long the product has been cooked, drain the remaining liquid from it; if any remains, season with oil, stir with a wooden spoon and serve.

How to make a delicious side dish of red rice with vegetables?

There are many options for how to cook red rice with vegetables. Here is one of the most successful:

  • For 1 cup of red rice, take 2.5 cups of water, 0.5 cups of dried beans, half a bell pepper, 0.5 cups of canned corn, one onion, a little paprika, ground black or red pepper.
  • First, boil the beans until tender. If you don't want to wait several hours, you can use a canned product. It is best to choose the option in its own juice, but be sure to thoroughly rinse it with cold boiled water. After this, the beans need to be spread out to dry a little.
  • We also boil red rice separately until tender; you can add a little butter or vegetable oil to the finished product.

  • Peel and chop the onion. Fry it in heated vegetable oil, then add the spices used and fry again. Add beans to the roast, mix everything thoroughly, heat through and remove from heat.
  • Place the corn in a colander and lightly dry, mix with finely diced sweet pepper. Add the vegetable mixture to the frying pan with the beans, which we place on low heat, stir and simmer until all ingredients are cooked. You should not stir the composition too often; it will lose its structure.
  • Lastly, add the boiled rice. Add the whole mixture, stir and keep on the fire under the lid for no more than a couple of minutes. The finished dish can be sprinkled with fresh chopped herbs and a little more salt.

In addition, red rice goes well with seafood, mushrooms, meat and some offal. The only thing you need to remember is that it is better to cook such a cereal separately, combining it with the rest of the ingredients or a ready-made dish at the very end. If you break this rule, you may end up with a porridge-like mixture without a distinct taste, texture, or aroma.

Rice is not only filling, but also delicious food. This cereal requires careful handling, careful cooking and a lot of additional spices. There are many varieties of rice and each requires individual cooking.

Rice, like types of alcohol, can be varied, with a pronounced taste, real and original. The best varieties of rice are considered to be the Jasmine variety and "Basmati". Surprisingly, only a combination of all weather and natural conditions can affect the quality of the cereal harvest.

Interesting fact: Basmati rice, like wine, is collected and stored for a certain time to ripen and only then is it subjected to the purification procedure. Properly seasoned rice has a bright taste and pleasant aroma.

The proportions of liquid (water or broth) and rice should be strict and slightly less than 1 to 2. “Basmati” can confidently be called an elite variety of rice. It is perfect for cooking real pilaf or a simple side dish, incredibly tasty and one that will crumble into grains

"Jasmine" - another variety of elite rice. It received its unusual name only due to the fact that the cereal is distinguished by a special delicate floral aroma, rich in flowers and nature. The grains smell so sweet that they can only be compared to a jasmine flower.

It is not for nothing that jasmine is called “the bread of the world” in some countries. This variety of rice was first grown only for royal families.

How and how much to cook rice for cabbage rolls?

Making delicious cabbage rolls requires pre-prepared rice. If you add raw dry rice to the minced meat, as a result, during the cooking process, it will not have time to boil and will literally “crunch” on your teeth, and the envelopes of cabbage rolls themselves will not unfold nicely. To prepare cabbage rolls, it is best to use regular round rice - it is the most sticky and it can hold all the ingredients of the dish together, preventing it from falling apart and maintaining its given shape.

Preparing rice for cabbage rolls:

  • Like other varieties, this type of rice requires high-quality washing. This procedure can dissolve starch on the surface of the cereal and wash it off so that the rice is not very shapeless
  • Cereals should be cooked in a strict ratio of dry part to liquid: one to 1.5
  • Cooking requires high heat for ten minutes
  • You should drain the hot water immediately after cooking, but you should not rinse the rice - this will completely wash away the last remnants of starch that will still be useful
  • Wait until the rice has cooled to room temperature and only then add it to the minced meat. Warm round rice is the most sticky, it will help the minced meat keep its given shape and thanks to this it will be easy to wrap the filling in a cabbage leaf
  • As a rule, such rice should not be salted during cooking, so as not to spoil the taste of the finished dish. Salt is used to season either the minced meat, the cabbage rolls themselves, or the sauce in which they are stewed.

Regular consumption of this cereal has a beneficial effect on the entire body: intestinal function improves, weight, cholesterol and blood sugar levels decrease.

Features of varieties

Iran is considered the birthplace of rice, but now the cereal crop is grown in many countries with a humid subtropical climate. These varieties are especially popular in Asia. In Ancient China and Japan, such rice was revered as sacred. In the old days, it was served only in noble houses and temples. The staple food of the inhabitants of highland Tibet is Bhutanese red rice. Its grains are medium in size and have a relatively soft shell. After cooking, they become pale pink and slightly sticky.

Indians prefer the ruby variety - rice with a dark brown color and dense structure. In Thailand, long-grain cereals with a delicate shell, mild taste and complex aroma consisting of bread and milk notes are cultivated. In Europe, red rice is grown in Southern France - in the Camargue province. Among gourmets, the California ruby variety, which grows in the American states of Georgia and South Carolina, is especially valued. This rice has a dark, rather burgundy hue. Such a cereal, prepared correctly in a slow cooker, retains all the valuable substances, which is what attracts people who lead a healthy lifestyle.

Preparing for cooking

Unpolished red rice must be sorted before cooking. To make debris and bad grains easier to detect, grains are poured in small portions onto a flat surface. Next, it is distributed in one layer. Having removed all excess from the handful (pebbles, husks, darkened or crushed grains), the procedure is repeated with the next portion. The cereal, cleared of impurities, is washed several times with cold water. Do this until the liquid is no longer cloudy.

How long does it take to cook rice?

Red grains are boiled in a saucepan for an average of 30–40 minutes. In a slow cooker, the cooking process takes a little longer - 40–60 minutes. Pre-soaking can reduce cooking time. Rice is kept in cold water for 2–3 hours, in hot water (not higher than 60 degrees) for an hour.

How much liquid do you take per glass of cereal?

The ideal ratio is two to one, but in the case of round grain red rice, you can use 3 cups, as it absorbs moisture more strongly. After soaking, drain off excess water. The cereal is transferred either to a thick-bottomed pan or to a multicooker bowl.

Cooking method: step by step instructions

To prepare a side dish for three people, take 600 ml of water, 200 g (or a glass) of red rice, 0.5 teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of vegetable oil. In this case, strict adherence to the proportions of liquid and cereal is a guarantee that the dish will ultimately turn out crumbly and tasty.

  • Turn off the fire. Let the rice sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
  • Add oil, mix everything.

Sometimes during the cooking process, the water in which the rice is cooked turns dirty red. If desired, you can change it to a clean one 5 minutes after boiling. In this case, the side dish is salted at the end, and not at the beginning.

Combination with other products

Red rice cooked in a saucepan or slow cooker, sprinkled with lemon juice before serving, is an independent, quite nutritious and tasty dish. At the same time, it can be added to salads or served as a side dish. It goes well with various vegetables: carrots, zucchini, bell peppers, cauliflower, spinach. You can make a delicious vegetarian pilaf based on red rice and mushrooms. A great idea for a hearty breakfast is porridge made from cereals, dried fruits, nuts, and honey.

Vegans and Orthodox believers should prepare “kiribat” - Sri Lankan rice pudding - on days of strict fasting. Its peculiarity is that red rice is cooked not in water, but in coconut milk. Cereals take 1 kg, liquids - 1.75 liters. Add salt (0.5 teaspoon) and vegetable oil (2 tablespoons). Next, the finished porridge is placed in a mold with a side. The height of the rice layer should be 2–2.5 cm. After the pudding is baked and cooled, it is cut into diamonds. Traditionally, “kiribat” is served with a spicy appetizer “pol sambol”, but it can also be served with sweet sauces – fruit or vanilla.

Particular mention should be made of anthocyanins - glycoside pigments that can only appear in the human body with food.

This dish is especially tasty if you sprinkle the rice with chopped basil.

Instead of a conclusion

Red rice varieties are a great way to satisfy your hunger and enjoy a delicious taste.

But you still need to observe moderation. Moreover, with such a tasty product it is very difficult not to get carried away and forget about your own figure.

Hello, friends! Today I will tell you about red rice and share how to cook it in a slow cooker.

Rice is probably the most widespread and popular grain crop in the world. Along with the well-known white rice, there is wild, brown (or brown), black and red. Unlike white, they are all minimally processed and retain the bran shell. Because of this, these varieties are considered more healthy and suitable for diets. They are also highly valued by supporters of a healthy diet, vegetarians and simply gourmets of rice dishes.

Many people, especially those who are not very well versed in cereal crops, confuse red and brown (or brown) rice and think that cereals are exactly the same. Although both grains are cooked almost identically and used in similar dishes, the difference between red and brown is still obvious in both color and taste. Brown has a brown color, which is why its second name is “brown.” And red has a brighter and more saturated color, closer to a ruby hue. They also differ in the degree of processing. Brown - usually not polished. And red can be either unpolished or lightly polished.
For the most part, red rice is cultivated in Asia, Thailand, India, the south of France and the USA. There are several varieties of red rice (I personally know five of them). In large supermarkets or specialized stores you can buy expensive and elite varieties. However, quite normal and tasty, and most importantly affordable, are sold by the manufacturers Agro-Alliance and Yarmarka. I saw long red rice at Yarmarka and it was more expensive than Agro-Alliance. TM "Agro-Alliance" has rice variety "Rubin", which is considered one of the most famous. I buy Ruby most often, and that's what I cooked in the slow cooker for this recipe.

Both Rubin and other varieties of red grain are used for hot dishes (purely as a side dish, for hot salads, for vegetable pilaf) and for cold dishes (salads and snacks).
Below in the recipe I will present to you the base, the basis for preparing cereals using a multicooker. And in conclusion, there will be a small bonus - I will share in what form my family likes to eat red rice.

Ingredients

  1. Red rice - 2 multi-cups
  2. Water - 4 multi-glasses
  3. Salt - to taste

How to cook red rice in a slow cooker

1. Prepare red rice (I use “Ruby”), water for cooking cereals and salt. We measure out the rice and water using the multi-glass that comes with the multicooker. Since any rice, and red rice is no exception, absorbs various foreign tastes and odors, it is better to use filtered water.

2. First, wash the rice well. Then pour the clean cereal into a container of sufficient depth, fill it with cold water (again, filtered is better) and leave for 30 minutes. Then place the red rice in a sieve and leave for 10 minutes to drain all the water. For those who are preparing red rice for the first time, do not be alarmed that the water when washing the cereal, especially the first one, will be red in color. Or rather some kind of brown one. Your product is not a “left-handed” one and is not tinted with any chemicals at all. There is simply a red pigment in the grain shell that is washed out. This is what gives the water such a “scary” look. After washing, even the rice itself may change color slightly.

3. Pour the rice into the multicooker bowl.

4. Pour water, add salt to taste and stir. Close the multicooker and cook the cereal for 35 minutes on the “Rice/Grains” mode.

5. After cooking (after the signal), open the multicooker and stir the rice. Close the appliance again and let the rice stand under the lid on “Warming” for 10-15 minutes. At the end, you can pour vegetable oil over the rice (I like olive oil).

6. Red rice, cooked as a side dish, is served immediately. It goes well with lean meat, poultry or fish. If you are a vegetarian, serve with vegetables or mushrooms.

7. As promised, I’ll tell you how my family eats red rice best. My family loves it with vegetables and omelette. To do this, I stew (can be done in a slow cooker) chopped onions (1-2 pcs.) and carrots (1-2 pcs.), cut into cubes, add turmeric and ground black pepper to taste (spices interrupt the taste of rice, so you shouldn’t get carried away ). Separately, I fry the omelet (3-4 eggs, a little water, a pinch of salt). The finished omelette is cut and added to the vegetables at the end of their preparation. Then I add the cooked rice there, mix it and keep it on the fire a little so that the cereal warms up. We eat the dish hot.

Red brown rice owes its benefits to its shell, which is rich in minerals, fiber and vitamins. Natural pigments, anthocyanins, that color the surface of grains are powerful antioxidants. Thanks to the dense shell, the cooked rice turns out crumbly.

Regular consumption of this cereal has a beneficial effect on the entire body: intestinal function improves, weight, cholesterol and blood sugar levels decrease.
