The influence of electromagnetic vibrations on humans. Impact of electromagnetic waves on human health

Waves passing through a living organism excite electrons in various chemical substances, which begin to destroy body tissue.

Many electrochemical reactions constantly occur in the human body, during which different chemical substances interact with each other. Such processes also take place at the level of “cellular respiration,” when body cells extract energy from these processes. This energy is necessary for the healthy functioning of a living organism.

The impact of electromagnetic waves disrupts the mechanisms of such “cellular respiration” in the tissues of the body and irradiates them. First of all, negative radiation begins to destroy those tissues in which the most active cell division occurs. These are: the thyroid gland, red bone marrow, gonads, mucous membranes in the gastrointestinal tract, etc. These body organs, body tissues are the most vulnerable and you need to know how to protect them from destructive influences.

Characteristics of electromagnetic waves and their sources

Waves have different ranges and different sources:

  • radar, radio navigation, etc.;
  • devices in physiotherapy rooms;
  • tube generators, transmitter units, antennas, especially in radio stations and television studios;
  • microwave fields, especially affecting the reflex functions of the body;
  • radio waves: decimeter waves affect the internal organs of the body, penetrating 10-15 cm deep;
  • UHF waves have an illogical effect;
  • waves of various frequencies: VHF, HF, HF, UHF, which travel almost at the speed of light, create unwanted resonance.

In any room, the strength of the electromagnetic field depends on the power of the devices, the degree of their shielding and the presence of protective metal coatings.

Human health and electromagnetic radiation

The influence of electromagnetic waves on humans is still being studied. However, much is already known about such negative, body-destroying effects:

  • dysfunction of the thyroid gland leads to improper metabolism and destruction of hormonal levels, which is especially dangerous for pregnant women, children and adolescents;
  • Damage to the red bone marrow leads to the formation of cancerous brain tumors, leukemia. Anemia;
  • damage to the gonads leads to incurable infertility;
  • Damage to the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract causes chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, even oncology.

Studies on the influence of electromagnetic waves on living organisms have shown that the destructive effects of these waves provoke the development of diseases, such as:

  • mammary cancer;
  • tumors in the brain;
  • Alzheimer's disease;
  • various leukemias;
  • diseases of the cardiovascular system;
  • destruction of the nervous system;
  • hormonal imbalance;
  • decreased immunity level, etc.

Characteristic symptoms of the influence of electromagnetic waves on the human body:

  • permanent. frequent headaches;
  • high blood pressure;
  • various sleep disorders;
  • sudden severe allergic reactions;
  • frequent colds and viral diseases;
  • obesity, excess weight with a normal diet;
  • anorexia with normal nutrition;
  • heartburn, nausea, vomiting, etc.

Research into the effects of electromagnetic fields and the search for effective protection against their destructive effects continues.

Low frequency waves and human health

Low-frequency waves (infrasound) cause various types of vibrations in the body. Symptoms of exposure are as follows:

  • nausea bothers me;
  • visual acuity decreases;
  • ringing in the ears;
  • digestion is upset;
  • brain functions are impaired;
  • the functioning of human internal organs is disrupted;
  • cardiac arrest and rupture of blood vessels are possible, which leads to death.

A person does not hear these waves. The lower limit of the low-frequency range has not yet been determined. Infrasound is found everywhere in nature to a greater or lesser extent: in the noise of forests, in the sea surf, the rustle of waves, in a thunderstorm atmosphere, etc.

It is noteworthy that infrasound extends even over long distances and penetrates the earth’s crust. This ability of infrasound is used in predicting natural disasters - earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.

The influence of low-frequency waves on humans

Under the influence of infrasound, a person begins to show incomprehensible anxiety, seemingly groundless anxiety. He begins to suffer from headaches, the level of attention and performance decreases, and the vestibular apparatus does not work well.

Sources of low frequency radiation

Such sources are:

  • public transport: trams, cars, buses, trolleybuses;
  • railway transport;
  • ventilation devices in industrial enterprises, in the subway;
  • aerodynamic, shock installations in industry;
  • airplanes, especially jets.

This is only part of the sources of infrasound of one power or another.

Infrasound and the human psyche

A person perceives these waves with almost his entire body. Science studies the possibility of influencing thoughts and feelings, emotions and behavior of a person. Some laboratories are trying to work with universal psychotronic weapons. Although medicine is already using devices that act on electromagnetic low-frequency waves: electric shock, ultrasound, infrasound, microwave radiation, low-threshold audiovisual stimulation, etc.

The most dangerous range for human health and psyche: 6-9 Hz, which includes a frequency of 7 Hz, which is absolutely in tune with the natural vibrations of the brain. Exposure to infrasound of these frequencies of different powers can completely cripple a person, turn him into a clinical idiot, and even kill him.

Methods of protection against infrasound

Julius Caesar also fought against noise by prohibiting nighttime passage through the streets in rattling chariots. Since then, there have been constant calls to keep the noise down or make less noise, especially at night. They try to reduce or completely eliminate noise pollution during the development of new car engines, during the construction of roads and residential areas, special screens are installed along busy highways, protective forest belts are planted, etc.

Methods and methods of protection against electromagnetic radiation

Harmful radiation and electromagnetic fields that negatively affect the human body are almost everywhere in the modern world.

Advice for parents and children:

  • It is better not to give a child under 10 years old a mobile phone at all;
  • older children should be allowed to use only in the most necessary cases;
  • It is better for pregnant women not to use a computer or to use it very briefly and rarely, because radiation causes the birth of children with congenital damage to the central nervous system;
  • It is advisable for people of reproductive age to use devices and equipment that actively and powerfully emit electromagnetic waves as little as possible - this leads to incurable infertility.

Methods of protection

Is it possible to protect yourself and your loved ones, if not completely, then at least minimize the degree of negative influence of electromagnetic fields? The answer is yes.

  • You should always try to stay at a fairly safe distance from various operating electrical equipment and electrical appliances;
  • it is necessary to reduce or minimize contact with electrical equipment: do not leave the computer turned on in sleep mode, do not stand next to a working printer, microwave, etc.;
  • Use your mobile phone as little as possible or at least talk on speakerphone;
  • Do not be near a TV, copy machines, printers, etc. closer than one and a half meters;

Important For your health, keep the necessary distance between yourself and electrical appliances!

  • the bed or resting place should not be near wires or equipment, even if they are behind the wall. The wall does not protect against electromagnetic fields.

If it is not possible to protect yourself and your loved ones completely from the influence of electromagnetic radiation, then it is quite possible to try to minimize this impact.

In order not to suffer due to the negative influences of electromagnetic fields, it is quite possible and possible to take preventive safety measures, try to comply with them, and protect the health of yourself and your family. And then everything will be all right. Things to remember: health is easier and cheaper to maintain than to treat it later, and the outcome of treatment may be unpredictable. Health is much more valuable. Than endless sitting at the computer and constant conversations on a mobile phone and other modern gadgets.

1. Introduction

It's no secret that external electromagnetic radiation has a negative effect on the human body. The world around us is increasingly filled with computers, television equipment, cellular and radiotelephones, and various household appliances. People, being on the street, in transport, in their homes, are literally surrounded by wires. In large cities, places where man-made electromagnetic background exceeds permissible standards by tens and hundreds of times are growing at an alarming rate. When entering such zones, a person seems to find himself in a room with the sign “Caution! High voltage” and stays there for a long time.

When the space around a person is saturated with electromagnetic signals, the body experiences discomfort, leading to diseases of a wide variety of nature. This is due to the fact that a person located in an electromagnetic field is able to absorb electromagnetic energy to a certain extent, which depends on his own electrical properties, as well as on the nature of the electromagnetic field. Part of the active energy is reflected from the surface of the body, while part can be absorbed. The nervous system, cardiovascular system, brain, eyes, as well as the immune and reproductive systems are most susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic fields. EMFs pose a particular danger to children and pregnant women, since the still unformed child’s body has increased sensitivity to the effects of such fields. From all of the above, we can affirmatively say that considering the negative impact of electromagnetic radiation on the human body is relevant and meaningful.

Purpose of the study: study the influence of electromagnetic radiation on the human body.

Object of study: electromagnetic radiation.

Research objectives:

1. study the literature on this topic;

2. identify the degree of danger of electromagnetic waves on human health;

3. find ways to reduce the negative impact of electromagnetic radiation on human health;

4. conduct a survey among residents of the town of Alekseevka in order to determine people’s awareness of the harm of electromagnetic radiation on the human body;

5. interview the shop doctor of the railway hospital on this topic;

6. inform school students about the dangers of electromagnetic radiation.

Research methods:

· analysis and synthesis;

· questioning;

· interviewing;

· social poll.

Expected results:

· release of the booklet “Amazing facts about electromagnetic radiation”;

· hold a round table “Electromagnetic pollution of the environment” at school;

· increasing the level of information literacy.

2. A few words about electromagnetic radiation.

The English scientist James Maxwell, based on studying Faraday's experimental work on electricity, hypothesized the existence in nature of special waves capable of propagating in a vacuum. Maxwell called these waves electromagnetic waves. According to Maxwell's ideas: with any change in the electric field, a vortex magnetic field arises and, conversely, with any change in the magnetic field, a vortex electric field arises. Once begun, the process of mutual generation of magnetic and electric fields must continue continuously and capture more and more new areas in the surrounding space. Electric and magnetic fields can exist not only in matter, but also in vacuum. Therefore, it should be possible to propagate electromagnetic waves in a vacuum. Physicist Heinrich Hertz was the first to experimentally obtain electromagnetic waves. The simplest electromagnetic waves are waves in which the electric and magnetic fields perform synchronous harmonic oscillations.

External electromagnetic radiation has a negative impact not only on the human body, but also on the entire world around it. To date, the World Health Organization program “Electromagnetic fields and human health” has been approved and is being implemented. This problem is receiving close attention all over the world, because when the space around a person is saturated with electromagnetic signals, the body experiences discomfort, leading to a decrease in immunity.

Thus, the topic of the study was the study of the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation on the human body.

I decided to compose a questionnaire and conduct a survey to determine people’s awareness of the harm of electromagnetic radiation on the human body. 78 people took part in the survey. As a result of the analysis of the survey results, the following was revealed:

1. They know about the dangers of electromagnetic radiation and try to reduce its negative effects due to their knowledge - 75% of respondents

2. They believe that electromagnetic radiation causes harm, but it is insignificant for their health - 18% of respondents

3. Haven’t thought about this problem - 7% of respondents

4. They believe that the cardiovascular system and brain are most susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic waves - 71% of respondents

5. They believe that the nervous system is most susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic waves - 21% of respondents

6. They believe that the reproductive system, eyes, and hearing organs are most susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic waves - 8% of respondents

7. Know basic methods of protection from harmful radiation of electromagnetic waves - 36%

8. Possess incorrect knowledge in terms of protection from the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation - 64%

I came to the conclusion that people need more awareness about this issue.

3. Harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation on the human body.

Today, scientists in many civilized countries, including Russia, have come to the conclusion that the magnetic component of the electromagnetic field exceeding 0.2 microtesla (µT) is harmful to human health. But let's see what magnitudes of this tension a person has to face every day at the everyday level?

Take, for example, urban and intercity transport. So, the average value of field electromagnetic intensity in suburban electric trains is 20, and in trams and trolleybuses - 30 μT. These figures are even higher on the platforms of metro stations - up to 50-100 µT. Traveling in city subway cars, where the EMF intensity goes off scale beyond 150-200 μT, is pure hell. This exceeds the permissible level of radiation by more than 1000 times! Is it any wonder that people who are forced to use electric vehicles to get around every day are easily fatigued, irritable, and susceptible to various diseases?!

My home is my castle! This phrase, born in England, could be uttered by a person who closed the door behind him. Now this is far from the case! Each more or less electrified box considers it its duty to release into the atmosphere some product that affects our body. All our favorite household appliances - electric stoves, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, kettles, irons, mixers, coffee makers (even electrical wiring and power lines) - create an electromagnetic field. It cannot be seen, heard, smelled, tasted or touched. However, you can study it and protect yourself from its radiation. How dangerous are electromagnetic waves really? And isn't it better to throw your favorite computer out the window?

Many people, unfortunately, are not even aware of the serious danger that operating electrical household appliances pose. Take, for example, a regular kitchen stove. The hostess is usually located near its front panel. The magnitude of the field electromagnetic intensity at the stove (within 20-30 cm) is 1-3 µT. Can you imagine the risk to which housewives who have to prepare food for their families every day expose their health?! The indicators of field electromagnetic intensity generated by electric kettles are unexpectedly small - only 2.6 µT, for irons - about 0.2 µT.

Of course, no one disputes that carriers of electromagnetic radiation provide us with both work and everyday comfort. It is difficult to imagine our life without airplanes, trains and subways, televisions and computers, washing machines, cell phones and much more. But for all these technical conveniences, a person, unfortunately, has to pay with his own health.

So, man, like animals and plants - all living things - is subject to the influence of electromagnetism. It can be both harmful and beneficial. Doctors and scientists have long been exploring the possibilities of weakening the first and strengthening the second. For a better understanding of how EMR acts on the human body, we decided to go to the Railway Clinical Hospital for a consultation with the workshop general practitioner of the first category, Svetlana Yurievna Shiryaeva. Electric train drivers and assistant drivers are assigned to Svetlana Yuryevna’s section. In a conversation with the doctor, we learned a lot of interesting and educational things. It turns out that depending on the intensity and duration of exposure to electromagnetic radiation, acute and chronic forms of damage to the body are distinguished.

Most often, patients complain of general weakness, fatigue, a feeling of weakness, decreased performance, sleep disturbance, irritability, sweating, headache of undetermined localization, dizziness, weakness. Some are bothered by pain in the heart area, sometimes of a compressive nature, radiating to the left arm and shoulder blade, and shortness of breath. Painful phenomena in the heart area are more often felt towards the end of the working day, after nervous or physical stress. Individuals may complain of blurred vision, decreased memory, and inability to concentrate and engage in mental work.

· Unplug non-working appliances to reduce “electromagnetic pollution.” This also applies to a mobile phone. Do not talk for more than 3-4 minutes, use SMS more often, and also carry the device in a case that shields electromagnetic waves. At home it is better to use cable.

· Do not move the bed close to a wall that may contain reinforced concrete structures that have electromagnetic properties. The minimum distance between the wall and the bed should be 10 cm.

· When purchasing another household appliance, remember: the lower the power, the lower the level of its EMF, that is, the harmfulness.

· Buy an air ionizer - it removes the effects of electrostatic fields.

· When you make repairs, replace the usual wiring with shielded wiring and use paints and wallpaper with shielding properties.

· Do not use cell phones for pregnant women, starting from the moment the fact of pregnancy is established and throughout the entire period of pregnancy, and for children.

· For schoolchildren, the duration of continuous computer lessons should not exceed: 1st grade - 10 minutes, 2-5 grades - 15 minutes, 6-7 grades - 20 minutes, 8-9 grades - 25 minutes, 10-11 grades - in the first hour training sessions - 30 minutes, the second - 20 minutes.

Conclusion.

In my work, I tried to show the importance, significance and relevance of studying the influence of electromagnetic radiation on humans, in particular household items, human household items, as well as the need to study this mysterious factor on the functioning of the human body. Humanity has stepped into a new era - the era of high technology and machines. But until we know what other secrets are hidden in phenomena invisible to us, we will not be able to guarantee our safety.

The practical significance of this work lies in the fact that this material can be used in physics lessons, class hours, elective courses in physics, as well as at parent-teacher meetings to raise public awareness.

Technological progress also has a downside. The global use of various electrically powered equipment has caused pollution, which is given the name electromagnetic noise. In this article we will look at the nature of this phenomenon, the degree of its impact on the human body and protective measures.

What is it and sources of radiation

Electromagnetic radiation is electromagnetic waves that arise when a magnetic or electric field is disturbed. Modern physics interprets this process within the framework of the theory of wave-particle duality. That is, the minimum portion of electromagnetic radiation is a quantum, but at the same time it has frequency-wave properties that determine its main characteristics.

The spectrum of frequencies of electromagnetic field radiation allows us to classify it into the following types:

  • radio frequency (these include radio waves);
  • thermal (infrared);
  • optical (that is, visible to the eye);
  • radiation in the ultraviolet spectrum and hard (ionized).

A detailed illustration of the spectral range (electromagnetic radiation scale) can be seen in the figure below.

Nature of radiation sources

Depending on their origin, sources of radiation of electromagnetic waves in world practice are usually classified into two types, namely:

  • disturbances of the electromagnetic field of artificial origin;
  • radiation coming from natural sources.

Radiations emanating from the magnetic field around the Earth, electrical processes in the atmosphere of our planet, nuclear fusion in the depths of the sun - they are all of natural origin.

As for artificial sources, they are a side effect caused by the operation of various electrical mechanisms and devices.

The radiation emanating from them can be low-level and high-level. The degree of intensity of the electromagnetic field radiation completely depends on the power levels of the sources.

Examples of sources with high levels of EMR include:

  • Power lines are usually high-voltage;
  • all types of electric transport, as well as the accompanying infrastructure;
  • television and radio towers, as well as mobile and mobile communication stations;
  • installations for converting the voltage of the electrical network (in particular, waves emanating from a transformer or distribution substation);
  • elevators and other types of lifting equipment that use an electromechanical power plant.

Typical sources emitting low-level radiation include the following electrical equipment:

  • almost all devices with a CRT display (for example: payment terminal or computer);
  • various types of household appliances, from irons to climate control systems;
  • engineering systems that provide electricity supply to various objects (this includes not only power cables, but related equipment, such as sockets and electricity meters).

Separately, it is worth highlighting special equipment used in medicine that emits hard radiation (X-ray machines, MRI, etc.).

Impact on humans

In the course of numerous studies, radiobiologists have come to a disappointing conclusion - long-term radiation of electromagnetic waves can cause an “explosion” of diseases, that is, it causes the rapid development of pathological processes in the human body. Moreover, many of them cause disturbances at the genetic level.

Video: How electromagnetic radiation affects people.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYWgXyHW93Q

This is due to the fact that the electromagnetic field has a high level of biological activity, which negatively affects living organisms. The influence factor depends on the following components:

  • the nature of the radiation produced;
  • how long and with what intensity it continues.

The effect on human health of radiation, which is of an electromagnetic nature, directly depends on the location. It can be either local or general. In the latter case, large-scale exposure occurs, for example, radiation produced by power lines.

Accordingly, local irradiation refers to exposure to certain areas of the body. Electromagnetic waves emanating from an electronic watch or mobile phone are a vivid example of local influence.

Separately, it is necessary to note the thermal effect of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation on living matter. The field energy is converted into thermal energy (due to the vibration of molecules); this effect is the basis for the operation of industrial microwave emitters used to heat various substances. In contrast to its benefits in production processes, thermal effects on the human body can be detrimental. From a radiobiological point of view, being near “warm” electrical equipment is not recommended.

It is necessary to take into account that in everyday life we are regularly exposed to radiation, and this happens not only at work, but also at home or when moving around the city. Over time, the biological effect accumulates and intensifies. As electromagnetic noise increases, the number of characteristic diseases of the brain or nervous system increases. Note that radiobiology is a fairly young science, so the harm caused to living organisms from electromagnetic radiation has not been thoroughly studied.

The figure shows the level of electromagnetic waves produced by conventional household appliances.

Note that the field strength level decreases significantly with distance. That is, to reduce its effect, it is enough to move away from the source at a certain distance.

The formula for calculating the norm (standardization) of electromagnetic field radiation is specified in the relevant GOSTs and SanPiNs.

Radiation protection

In production, absorbing (protective) screens are actively used as means of protecting against radiation. Unfortunately, it is not possible to protect yourself from electromagnetic field radiation using such equipment at home, since it is not designed for this.

  • in order to reduce the impact of electromagnetic field radiation to almost zero, you should move away from power lines, radio and television towers at a distance of at least 25 meters (the power of the source must be taken into account);
  • for CRT monitors and TVs this distance is much smaller - about 30 cm;
  • Electronic watches should not be placed close to the pillow; the optimal distance for them is more than 5 cm;
  • As for radios and cell phones, bringing them closer than 2.5 centimeters is not recommended.

Note that many people know how dangerous it is to stand next to high-voltage power lines, but most people do not attach importance to ordinary household electrical appliances. Although it is enough to place the system unit on the floor or move it further away, and you will protect yourself and your loved ones. We advise you to do this, and then measure the background from the computer using an electromagnetic field radiation detector to clearly verify its reduction.

This advice also applies to the placement of the refrigerator; many people place it near the kitchen table, which is practical, but unsafe.

No table can indicate the exact safe distance from a specific electrical equipment, since radiation may vary, both depending on the device model and the country of manufacture. At the moment, there is no single international standard, so standards in different countries may have significant differences.

The radiation intensity can be accurately determined using a special device - a fluxmeter. According to the standards adopted in Russia, the maximum permissible dose should not exceed 0.2 µT. We recommend taking measurements in the apartment using the above-mentioned device for measuring the degree of electromagnetic field radiation.

Fluxmeter - a device for measuring the degree of radiation of an electromagnetic field

Try to reduce the time you are exposed to radiation, that is, do not stay near operating electrical devices for a long time. For example, it is not at all necessary to constantly stand at the electric stove or microwave oven while cooking. Regarding electrical equipment, you can notice that warm does not always mean safe.

Always turn off electrical appliances when not in use. People often leave various devices turned on, not taking into account that at this time electromagnetic radiation is emanating from electrical equipment. Turn off your laptop, printer or other equipment; there is no need to expose yourself to radiation again; remember your safety.

What would the world be like without the influence of electromagnetic waves? Take your time to answer this question, because our planet has existed for millions of years surrounded by radiation. The Earth's natural magnetic field, natural electric field, radio emission from the Sun, atmospheric electricity - these are electromagnetic waves that have surrounded us since time immemorial. Living nature is impossible without this physical phenomenon. However, thanks to human activity, a problem has emerged such as electromagnetic pollution, the source of which is household appliances, computers and components, construction power tools, mobile phones, high-voltage power lines, and radio stations. What is the influence of electromagnetic waves of anthropogenic origin and how to minimize it?

Comfort zone

For normal life, a person needs environmentally friendly conditions from the point of view of the influence of electromagnetic fields. Studies have shown that a person experiences the same stress both in conditions of severe electromagnetic pollution and in the absence of natural sources of radiation (shielding from natural sources of EMF occurs in confined spaces bounded by metal or reinforced concrete, for example, in vehicle interiors, elevator shafts and other premises ).

Ideal conditions from this point of view are located away from populated areas, in places where no electrical appliances are used. And since the majority of the planet’s inhabitants cannot provide such living conditions for themselves, a situation arises where each of us, to one degree or another, experiences the influence of electromagnetic waves of anthropogenic origin.

In some cases, this effect does not exceed normal limits and is compensated by the body. In other situations, the influence of electromagnetic waves on the body can lead to the development of unpleasant consequences, from harmless ones, such as increased skin blood flow, to a whole range of symptoms.

Negative effects of electromagnetic waves on the body

According to various studies, exposure to electromagnetic pollution can cause the following symptoms in humans:

  • From the nervous system: changes in the electroencephalogram, neurasthenia, finger tremor, dysfunction of the central and autonomic nervous system, sweating;
  • From the cardiovascular system: unstable blood pressure and pulse, cardiovascular and vagotonic disorders;
  • General symptoms: headache and dizziness, weakness, decreased performance and concentration, fatigue, shallow sleep that does not bring vigor, decreased potency, a feeling of internal emptiness, unstable body temperature, allergic reactions.

The influence of electromagnetic waves on humans is noted at the level of cells, organ systems and the body as a whole. It is believed that the nervous, immune, endocrine and reproductive systems react to this kind of pollution, and the range of diseases also affects such serious ailments as leukemia and the appearance of tumors. However, to date, fundamental research has not been carried out to prove the direct carcinogenic effect of electromagnetic waves on the body.

Some experts are inclined to believe that chronic fatigue syndrome is associated with an increase in electromagnetic pollution. And although the reasons for this phenomenon have not been fully studied, it is noted that the disease is typical for developed countries and its prevalence is increasing every year.

Are the changes caused by the influence of electromagnetic waves on the body reversible? Symptoms from the nervous and cardiovascular systems, as a rule, disappear after the influence of EMF is eliminated, but with constant exposure to a harmful factor, the disorders become stable and lead to diseases.

However, the situation is not without irony, and one of the results of the negative influence of electromagnetic waves on a person is electromagnetic phobia. An obsessive sense of threat forces people to avoid antennas, even those that are used not for broadcasting, but for receiving radio broadcasts, and also attribute the properties of radiation radiation to electromagnetic waves, buy devices for supposedly decontaminating premises and territories, etc. However, competent explanations from specialists that correspond to the patient’s level of education can help people with such phobias.

Be that as it may, the influence of electromagnetic waves on humans is considered potentially pathogenic. The symptoms caused by this factor are collectively termed “radio wave disease.”

The influence of electromagnetic waves within the apartment

The greatest concerns of environmentalists and medical specialists are caused by high-voltage equipment - power lines, transformer stations and substations. However, the level of their electromagnetic impact on the environment is regulated by SanPiN standards; moreover, such structures are located, as a rule, at a distance from residential areas, due to which the influence of electromagnetic waves on humans is minimized. Of much greater interest to all of us are the household appliances that are in our apartment.

The modern lifestyle involves a high concentration of household appliances in a limited living space. Electric heaters, fans, air conditioners, additional lighting systems, computer equipment, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, blenders, a constantly running refrigerator and microwave oven and many other devices that are located in close proximity are quite capable of creating a powerful electromagnetic background. Do not forget about household electricity distributors, which, like a web, entangle the entire apartment. When household appliances are turned off, this network creates an electric field; when the appliances are running, a magnetic field of industrial frequency appears. Moreover, the influence of electromagnetic waves from such devices is felt even if they are located in a room behind a wall.

How to protect yourself from the influence of electromagnetic waves

With a modern lifestyle, it is impossible to completely isolate yourself from the effects of anthropogenic radiation, but you can reduce it to a minimum. For example, stay as far as possible from a microwave oven or electric oven when they are working, as well as from office equipment, washing machines, etc. Turn off appliances when not needed. In this case, it is advisable to completely de-energize the device and not leave it in sleep mode.

It is difficult to limit the influence of electromagnetic waves from phones, which serve as alarm clocks, communication tools, navigation devices and many other functions. However, experts recommend not giving phones to children under the age of 5-8 years. When purchasing this gadget, choose models that use the GSM 1800 communication standard, use a headset to reduce the amount of radiation, and do not place the phone near your head when you go to bed. The less you are near working electrical appliances, the less impact they have on your body.

Mechanism of influence of EMR

The human body, like any organism on Earth, has its own electromagnetic field, thanks to which all systems, organs and cells of the body work harmoniously. Human electromagnetic radiation is also called the biofield. The visual representation of the biofield, which some people see, and which can be constructed by a computer using special devices, is also called an aura.

This field is the main protective shell of our body from the influence of external electromagnetic fields. When it is destroyed, the organs and systems of our body become easy prey for any pathogenic factors.

If our natural electromagnetic field is affected by other sources of radiation, much more powerful than the radiation of our body, then it is distorted or even begins to collapse. And chaos begins in the body. This leads to disruption of the functioning of various organs and systems—diseases.

That is, it is obvious to any person that, for example, a humming transformer box or a powerful electric generator poses a danger because they create a strong electromagnetic field around them. Standards for safe time and distance when staying near such devices have been calculated for workers. But here's what is NOT obvious to most people:

The same effect of destruction of the biofield occurs when exposed to weak electromagnetic radiation, if the body is under its influence regularly and for long periods of time.

That is, the most common sources of danger are household appliances that surround us every day. Things we can no longer imagine our lives without: household appliances, computers, laptops, mobile phones, transport and other attributes of modern civilization.

In addition, large crowds of people, a person’s mood and his attitude towards us, geopathogenic zones on the planet, magnetic storms, etc. have a significant impact on us. (for more details see page ).

There is still debate among scientists about the dangers of electromagnetic radiation. Some say that it is dangerous, others, on the contrary, do not see any harm. I would like to clarify.

The most dangerous are not the electromagnetic waves themselves, without which no device could really work, but their information component, which cannot be detected by conventional oscilloscopes.

It has been experimentally established that electromagnetic radiation has a torsion (information) component. According to research by specialists from France, Russia, Ukraine and Switzerland, it is torsion fields, and not electromagnetic ones, that are the main factor in the negative impact on human health. Since it is the torsion field that transmits to a person all the negative information that causes headaches, irritation, insomnia, etc.

How strong is the impact of the technology around us? We offer several videos for viewing:

Of course, these are not all the dangerous items that we use every day. More information about radiation sources can be found on the page:

Weak high-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) with a power of hundredths and even thousandths of a watt are dangerous for humans because the intensity of such fields coincides with the intensity of radiation from the human body during the normal functioning of all systems and organs in his body. As a result of this interaction, a person’s own field is distorted, which contributes to the development of various diseases, especially in the most weakened areas of the body.

The most dangerous property of such effects is that they accumulate over time in the body. As they say: “a drop of water wears away a stone.” In people who, due to their occupation, use a lot of various equipment - computers, phones - a decrease in immunity, frequent stress, decreased sexual activity, and increased fatigue were found.

And if we take into account the development of wireless technologies and the miniaturization of gadgets that allow us not to part with them around the clock... Today, almost every resident of a metropolis falls into the risk zone, one way or another exposed to round-the-clock exposure to mobile and Wi-Fi networks, power lines, electric transport, etc. .

The problem is that the danger is invisible and intangible, and begins to manifest itself only in the form of various diseases. However, the cause of these diseases remains outside the scope of medical attention. With rare exceptions. And while you are healing your symptoms with the achievements of modern medicine, our invisible enemy stubbornly continues to undermine your health.

The circulatory system, brain, eyes, immune and reproductive systems are most susceptible to the influence of electromagnetic fields. Someone will say: “So what? Surely this impact is not so strong - otherwise international organizations would have sounded the alarm long ago.”

Data:

Did you know that just 15 minutes after starting to work on the computer, a 9-10 year old child’s blood and urine changes almost coincide with the changes in the blood of a person with cancer? Similar changes appear in a 16-year-old teenager after half an hour, in an adult – after 2 hours of working at the monitor.

(we are talking about cathode-ray monitors, which are gradually disappearing from use, but are still found)

US researchers have found:

  • in most women who worked on computers during pregnancy, the fetus developed abnormally, and the probability of miscarriage approached 80%;
  • Electricians develop brain cancer 13 times more often than workers in other professions;

Effect of electromagnetic radiation on the nervous system:

The level of electromagnetic radiation, even without causing thermal effects, can affect the most important functional systems of the body. Most experts consider the nervous system to be the most vulnerable. The mechanism of action is very simple - it has been established that electromagnetic fields disrupt the permeability of cell membranes to calcium ions. As a result, the nervous system begins to function improperly. In addition, the alternating electromagnetic field induces weak currents in the electrolytes, which are the liquid components of the tissues. The range of deviations caused by these processes is very wide - during the experiments, changes in the EEG of the brain, slowed reactions, memory impairment, depressive symptoms, etc. were recorded.

Effect of EMR on the immune system:

The immune system is also affected. Experimental studies in this direction have shown that in animals irradiated with EMF, the nature of the infectious process changes - the course of the infectious process is aggravated. There is reason to believe that when exposed to EMR, the processes of immunogenesis are disrupted, more often in the direction of their inhibition. This process is associated with the occurrence of autoimmunity. According to this concept, the basis of all autoimmune conditions is primarily immunodeficiency in the thymus-dependent cell population of lymphocytes. The influence of high-intensity EMF on the body’s immune system is manifested in a suppressive effect on the T-system of cellular immunity.

Effect of EMR on the endocrine system:

The endocrine system is also a target for EMR. Studies have shown that under the influence of EMF, as a rule, stimulation of the pituitary-adrenaline system occurred, which was accompanied by an increase in the content of adrenaline in the blood and activation of blood coagulation processes. It was recognized that one of the systems that is early and naturally involved in the body's response to the influence of various environmental factors is the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal cortex system.

The effect of electromagnetic radiation on the cardiovascular system:

Disorders of the cardiovascular system may also be noted. It manifests itself in the form of lability of pulse and blood pressure. Phase changes in the composition of peripheral blood are noted.

The influence of electromagnetic radiation on the reproductive system:

  1. There is a suppression of spermakinesis, an increase in the birth rate of girls, and an increase in the number of congenital defects and deformities. The ovaries are more sensitive to the influence of electromagnetic radiation.
  2. The female genital area is more susceptible to the effects of electromagnetic fields created by computers and other office and household equipment than the male genital area.
  3. The vessels of the head, the thyroid gland, the liver, and the genital area are critical areas of exposure. These are only the main and most obvious consequences of exposure to EMR. The picture of the real impact on each individual person is very individual. But to one degree or another, these systems are affected by all users of household appliances at different times.

The effect of electromagnetic radiation on pregnant women and children:

A child’s body has some features compared to an adult’s, for example, it has a larger ratio of head to body length and greater conductivity of the brain matter.

Due to the smaller size and volume of a child’s head, the specific absorbed power is greater compared to an adult, and the radiation penetrates deeper into those parts of the brain that, as a rule, are not irradiated in adults. As the head grows and the bones of the skull thicken, the content of water and ions decreases, and hence conductivity.

It has been proven that growing and developing tissues are most susceptible to the adverse effects of the electromagnetic field, and active human growth occurs from the moment of conception until approximately 16 years of age.

Pregnant women also fall into this risk group, since EMF is biologically active in relation to embryos. When a pregnant woman talks on a cell phone, virtually her entire body is exposed to EMFs, including the developing fetus.

The sensitivity of the embryo to damaging factors is much higher than the sensitivity of the mother's body. It has been established that intrauterine damage to the fetus by EMF can occur at any stage of its development: during fertilization, cleavage, implantation, and organogenesis. However, the periods of maximum sensitivity to EMF are the early stages of embryo development - implantation and early organogenesis.

Data:

In 2001, the Neurodiagnostic Scientific Institute in Spain found that in 11-13 year old children who talked on a cell phone for two minutes, changes in the bioelectrical activity of the brain persisted for another two hours after they hung up.

A study completed at the University of Bristol in the UK last year showed a significant increase in reaction time in 10-11 year old children using a GSM mobile phone. Similar results were obtained by Finns at the University of Turku, who observed a group of children aged 10-14 years.

In the USSR until the 90s it was carried out a large number of studies of the biological effect of EMF on the developing organism of animals.

It has been established that even low intensities of EMF affect the embryonic development of offspring. The offspring of irradiated animals are less viable; developmental anomalies, deformities, weight loss, dysfunction of the higher parts of the central nervous system (slow production and decreased ability to maintain defensive and motor-food conditioned reflexes), and a shift in the pace of postnatal development are observed.

Adult animals irradiated by EMF are characterized by a decrease in the number of offspring born, changes in the genital organs of females, disturbances in fetal development, a decrease in the percentage of crossbreeding, and statistically more frequent cases of stillbirth.

A study of the influence of EMF on the offspring of rats exposed to electromagnetic influence in parameters similar to what a human embryo receives when its mother talks on a cell phone showed that, compared with the control, the embryonic mortality of the offspring was statistically significantly increased, the mass of the thymus gland was reduced, and the number of developmental anomalies was increased internal organs, during the first 4 weeks of the postnatal period, the mortality of the offspring of rats of all experimental groups was 2.5 - 3 times higher than in the control, and body weight was lower. The development of rat pups was also worse: the formation of sensory-motor reflexes and the timing of incisor eruption were delayed; in female rat pups, development was impaired.
