The drug “Imunofan” actively fights disorders of the immune system. Indications for use include childhood and adult immunodeficiencies of various origins, dysfunction of humoral and cellular regulation. Application and dosage

Intramuscular or subcutaneous injections are given once a day, the maximum dosage is 1 ml per adult per day. For cancer patients, injections are prescribed every other day or in courses of 5 injections. For bacterial infections, treatment lasts for a month, in courses of 10 injections at intervals of several days. Therapy for arthrosis and hepatitis involves 10 injections: once every 4 days. For burns and wounds, up to 25 injections are prescribed, for psoriasis - 7-12 injections every other day. The medicine is used nasally or rectally in the same dosage. Contraindications, side effects, storage conditions of the drug

This product is contraindicated for use if you are intolerant to one of the components. It should be prescribed with caution to children, and then from the age of three. This remedy is not used to treat children under three years of age. During pregnancy, the drug “Imunofan” can be used only after consultation with a doctor and in the absence of Rh conflict. Side effects may include local allergic reactions, as well as dermatitis (if a spray is used). Actually, the allergen is most often the active substance itself. This medicine is administered by injection, and for an animal weighing up to 100 kg, 1 ml of solution is sufficient, for individuals weighing 100-500 kg, 2-3 ml will be needed, and if the weight is above 500 kg, 4-5 ml. Usually this amount of the drug is enough to make the animal feel better. But, as a rule, the regimen and course of treatment must be prescribed by a veterinarian.

COMPOSITION AND FORM OF RELEASE

Injectable 0.005% aqueous solution of immunofan - a synthetic hexapeptide (arginyl-alpha-aspartyl-lysyl-valyl-tyrosyl-arginine) and excipients. In appearance, the drug is a homogeneous, transparent, colorless, odorless liquid. Produced in ampoules of 1 ml, which are placed in cardboard boxes of 5 pieces.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Immunofan has an effect on the restoration of congenital and acquired disorders of cellular and humoral immunity. The drug increases antibacterial and antiviral resistance, the body's early antitumor defense system, and has an immunoregulatory, anti-inflammatory, detoxification and hepatoprotective effect. Increases the genetic stability of cells, reduces the damaging effects of free radical products during chemical, radiation and radionuclide exposure.

In terms of the degree of impact on the body, Immunofan belongs to hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007 (low-hazard substances). In recommended doses and concentrations it does not have a local irritant or resorptive toxic effect.

INDICATIONS

For preventive and therapeutic purposes for farm animals, poultry, fur-bearing animals, dogs and cats:

— for diseases of viral and bacterial etiology;

— in case of stressful conditions of animals (transportation, regrouping, weighing animals, changing food, etc.);

— when vaccinating animals;

— during the period of prevention and treatment of intestinal and respiratory diseases.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

The drug is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml for animals weighing up to 100 kg, 2-3 ml from 100 to 500 kg, 4-5 ml - over 500 kg. When vaccinating birds, immunofan is mixed with the vaccine at the rate of 1 ml of the drug per 30 birds. For the treatment of parainfluenza, infectious rhinotracheitis, combined adenoviral and rhinotracheal infection once every other day 3-4 times, gastrointestinal diseases and viral enteritis once every other day 2-3 times, carnivore distemper once every other day 5-6 times, for the treatment of intrauterine infections once every other day 5 times.

You should avoid skipping the next dose of the drug during the course of use provided for in the treatment regimen. If the interval between treatments accidentally increases, the use of the drug is resumed at the same dose according to the same scheme.

SIDE EFFECTS

When using the drug in accordance with the instructions, side effects and complications, as a rule, are not observed.

There are no symptoms of overdose when using the drug Immunofan.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug.
