Orthodontics. 6th floor. Doctors are taking money. They write out a bunch of items from the price list (often exaggerating the number of teeth they worked on). The manager makes excuses for everyone, saying that the doctor is great, but you all don’t understand, turning the situation according to the occasion. Avoid orthodontics at the Central Research Institute of Maxillofacial Surgery (room 616). The doctors are good, but dishonest and greedy for their patients’ money.

They didn’t draw up a treatment program, but they took money for it. For some reason, ordering equipment only through a doctor, 22,000 in hand, they don’t give any receipt. I asked for receipts, but they ordered them somewhere. They gave me checks for 16,000, which included all sorts of different items, and as a result it turned out that they weren’t even planning to give me half of this. I didn’t see the card again from the first appointment. The doctor writes to himself only in his diary. At the same time, he writes out a bill to the cashier and separately calculates how much to give to the doctor, supposedly cheaper. With each visit, the bill at the cash desk and in hand grows, although the procedures are the same. The last time the appointment was 32 thousand for 30 minutes of work and 2.5 hours of waiting in line! (the amount is huge for me, I changed the clinic). Although at the initial appointment they said that the entire treatment would cost 200,000, for installation it was about 22,000, subsequent amounts were no more than 6,000-7,000. The doctor threw out the bait that removal would cost 50,000, without subsequent polishing, etc. And how scary it is to change an orthodontist, it’s unclear who you’ll end up with, etc. But 32,000 was the limit for me. I felt like I was in a sect that I couldn’t get out of.

For the so-called “brushing your teeth” (using a cotton swab moistened with possibly acid on your teeth, followed by a cotton swab with something else and that’s it, about 2 minutes) you get about 8 thousand. (in other clinics, for a maximum of 6500 you can have professional hygiene of the entire oral cavity with ultrasound, AirFlow, fluoride varnish, etc.). What does such cleaning with a cotton swab with reautives have to do with it, according to the doctor, it simply needs to be done, otherwise she won’t see anything. Sometimes, then more and more often, it was even practiced to remove the arches in order to clean and put everything back on again without adjusting anything. And the treatment was somehow deliberately delayed. The full price tag was set at the same time.

One day, while pulling the archwire out of the bracket groove, the pliers bounced off, knocking down the bracket and scratching my cheek (it was painful), the doctor looked and said that the bracket needs to be glued, well, I think it broke, it will glue it. As a result, I calculated that 1 bracket costs 2500 (and I have the most ordinary iron braces), + installation 2500 + preparation of the tooth for fixing the bracket is another 700, and I glued it in a different way from how it was before, the rigid arch did not fasten, it was necessary a softer arc, naturally another 1800 for it.

There are 5-6 chairs in the office where the reception is taking place, separated by small walls. The doctor is constantly distracted by colleagues and the phone. Wait for your appointment for 1.5-3 hours (this is by appointment for a specific time).

Currently, I went to another good clinic, the process has begun, and it’s much cheaper (many times cheaper, since it’s 5-6 times cheaper), more comfortable (separate room, everything is clean and sterile, they always talk about what we’ll do at the next visit, transparent prices through the cashier, appointment exactly at the time for which I signed up) now I’m happy).

My advice: Don’t be fooled by the name TsNIIS CHLH. Visit clinics, talk to doctors, find out how much it will cost, how long the treatment will last, etc. Read reviews on orthodontic forums and chat on brace-bearing forums) Don’t repeat my mistakes, be healthy)

I went to TsNIIS with hope and, on the recommendation of my dentist, who studied at this TsNIIS, improved my qualifications. And she came out as if she had been doused with a tub of cold water. The truth is written in reviews about rude communication with patients. I made an appointment for the first visit by phone at the reception with a periodontist, I won’t mention his name, a candidate of sciences, by the way, there was a crowd of students around. The first question from the doctor: “How did you even get to see me? I don’t accept anyone!” I came with the problem of “fistula on the gum”. A diagnosis of mild chronic periodontitis was made. They carried out treatment, it must be said that it was not cheap, in the medical record, without my questioning, entries appeared that “the patient notes improvement, etc.” After the treatment, another specialist, Natalya Borisovna Petrushina, was invited to solve the fistula problem. They said that if anyone could do it, it would be her! It was necessary to remove the crowns and refill the canals. Initially it was proposed to remove the crowns

and unseal the canals, where I received prosthetics, in Ryazan, and come for treatment to the Central Scientific Research Institute. Then they said that they would just remove the crowns. They set an approximate price for the work - for 2 appointments. Where I received prosthetics, they removed my crowns, unfilled the canals, and checked the correctness of the needles using X-ray. With this I came to TsNIIS. Here comes the most interesting part. The doctor REFUSED to see me, on the basis that another specialist began the work and, allegedly, he ruined everything, made false channels, steps, etc. “Now let him finish it himself.” And this doctor made this conclusion only based on an examination of my appearance. She didn’t even look into my mouth, let alone “pick” my tooth! As I understand it, this “charitable institution” is staffed by “dental monsters”! examining the patient through a closed mouth! How can a doctor who took the Hippocratic Oath refuse a patient???? Is this our new medicine??? Or do they not care anymore? Treating patients like a departed trolleybus - nothing, the next one will come!
When I demanded to give me a medical card, they said that they would give it to the reception desk, since they needed to make a note about the cancellation of the appointment. At the reception I received a copy of the card - no entry about the cancellation of the appointment was made on the card. I regret that I didn’t cause a scandal and didn’t go to management. But now you can’t prove anything.
I speak firsthand about the Hippocratic Oath and humane treatment of patients, my mother is a Doctor, with a capital D, with more than 40 years of experience! She still remembers each of her patients, although she had to see up to 30 people a day. She is already retired, but it is impossible to walk around the city calmly with her, every second woman greets her joyfully, and her mother remembers who, when and how she gave birth. I express my condolences to the leadership of TsNIIS, due to the fact that in the main institute of the country there are NO doctors, but only grabbers. The signs on the offices should also be corrected, just swap two letters!...
