Obstetrician-gynecologist in Moscow:

When studying a large number of reviews about the drug Macmiror, one can come to the conclusion that most of them are positive. Quality and popularity depend on professional, consumer-type responses, so below are some recommendations.

I have been working in the gynecological field as an obstetrician-gynecologist for quite a long time. My review of the drug Macmiror was assessed from a professional point of view. Since I mainly care for pregnant women, I often prescribe medicine for preventive purposes before the onset of labor.

The active substance Macmiror allows you to delicately fight the causative agents of various infections and has a positive effect on restoring the proper microflora of the vagina. Another advantage of the medication is the short-term use of the drug, which is especially important during pregnancy. Therefore, I consider this medicine to be one of the optimal and relatively safe antibacterial agents. When prescribing, I take into account all the nuances, so my patients do not feel negative consequences after using Macmiror!

Natalya, Severodvinsk:

Two weeks later we completed a follow-up study and Giardia was no longer detected. I am very glad that we chose the right medicine and quickly got rid of this terrible diagnosis. Macmiror fully pays for the money spent on it, as it ensures the high effectiveness of the drug.

Irina, Orel:

While on vacation, I felt discomfort in my lower abdomen. I felt an unpleasant itching and nagging pain. After visiting a gynecologist and undergoing tests, a diagnosis of vulvovaginitis was made. I was prescribed a course of Macmiror for 10 days in the amount of 3 tablets per day.

After using the drug, I did not notice any significant changes in the body. And after a few days, all the unpleasant moments of the gynecological infection disappeared. After a control test, there were no signs of infection. Therefore, I recommend Macmiror as an effective and high-quality drug with quick effects!

Victor, Kansk:

It all started when I felt severe pain in my lower back. After a clinical urine test, the doctor confirmed the presence of pyelonephritis and kidney inflammation. I was scared by this diagnosis, but the specialist reassured me that the disease can be quickly treated with the use of an effective medicine. This drug turned out to be Macmiror. After taking the first tablet I quickly felt relief, and after a day the pain disappeared.

Complete treatment with Macmiror had a positive effect; there were no serious contraindications to the body. I was very pleased with the medicine and did not regret buying and using the drug. The high price confirms the quality of McMirror!

Macmiror is an antibiotic of synthetic origin of the nitrofuran group. Intended for use in gynecology (complex) and gastroenterology. It has antibacterial, antiprotozoal and antifungal properties. Due to its low toxicity, the drug can be prescribed to children and expectant mothers. The main advantage of the main component is its selective ability to pathogenic microorganisms. In this case, treatment is accompanied by the restoration of the internal ecosystem and the growth of populations of beneficial bacteria. Before using Macmiror, read the instructions for use.

Regardless of the form of release produced, the drug Macmiror contains the main component - nifuratel. The dosage and method of administration allow the drug to be used for various diseases by patients of different age categories.

Macmiror tablets contain 200 mg of the main component, have a white color, a biconvex shape and a sweetish taste of the shell. The cardboard package contains two blisters of 10 pills.

Macmiror suppositories are available in the form of a complex of suppositories. The main component in them is 500 mg. Excipients: nystatin. The shape is oval, the color is light yellow with a brown tint. The consistency is soft jelly-like. Macmiror is produced in the form of a complex of suppositories of 8 or 12 pieces in one package, designed for one course of treatment.

The cream (ointment), as well as Macmiror suppositories, contains nystatin. The active ingredient is 100 mg per 1 g of the drug. Tubes are available in 30 g. The color is yellow. The size of one candle corresponds to 2.5 g of creamy mass.

Mechanism of action

The medicinal effect of Macmiror extends to gram-positive and gram-negative strains of bacteria resistant to other antibiotics. The drug also has a detrimental effect on protozoan microorganisms and some types of fungi. Does not cause resistance.

The high effectiveness of Macmiror is due to the complex of active substances included in its composition. The antimycotic effect of nifuratel is enhanced by the support of nystatin. This tandem has a destructive effect on cell membranes, penetrates inside and disrupts their morphological structure, resulting in the death of pathogenic microorganisms.

Macmiror complex cream or suppositories inhibit only harmful bacteria and fungi, while it does not have a negative effect on beneficial microflora. Nifuratel contained in tablets, when taken orally, is quickly absorbed through the gastrointestinal mucosa and easily overcomes the placental and blood-brain barriers. Some concentrations are found in breast milk.

Macmiror is metabolized in the liver and muscle tissue. It is excreted mainly by the kidneys. Moreover, with urine, approximately 30-50% of the drug composition leaves the body unchanged.

Therapeutic purposes

A synthetic drug consisting of a complex of active substances with bactericidal effects was created for the treatment of diseases caused by acid-dependent bacteria and associated with Helicobacter pylori Macmiror is successfully used for giardiasis and mixed microbial infection.
