3. CONDITIONS OF USE
Disinfectant "Javel Solid" is intended for disinfection of various types of technological equipment, equipment and containers in workshops for the production of milk and dairy products, ice cream, mayonnaise, juices and various drinks. In addition, Javel Solid can be used to disinfect the surfaces of production and utility rooms.

Working solutions of the drug "Javel Solid" are used strictly in accordance with the "Sanitary Rules for Dairy Industry Enterprises" SanPiN 2.3.4.551-96 and the "Instructions for the sanitary treatment of equipment, inventory and containers at dairy industry enterprises" (Moscow, 1998), those. after thorough alkaline washing and rinsing. If necessary, additional acid washing and rinsing is carried out and only then disinfection.

The presence of protein and fatty contaminants on surfaces undergoing disinfection is unacceptable. Immediately after disinfection, rinse with water to remove any remaining disinfectant solution.

Before disinfecting the surfaces of production, sanitary and utility rooms (floors, walls), they must be washed (degreased) with alkaline and, if necessary, acidic technical detergents in accordance with the “Sanitary Rules for Dairy Industry Enterprises”, SanPiN 2.3.4.551-96 , approved by the State Committee for Sanitary and Social Security of the Russian Federation on October 24, 1996 to remove existing protein and fat deposits. The thoroughness of this operation largely determines the subsequent effectiveness of the drug.

After completely removing the remaining cleaning solution with tap water, disinfect the equipment and surfaces of the premises in accordance with the instructions given in Table 2. In this case, the calculated amount of the Javel Solid preparation is added to the tank of the washing station using a mechanized method or to the washing bath using a manual disinfection method. With the mechanized method, it is possible to dilute the working solution of the disinfectant, so it is initially prepared at 0.009% (6 tablets per 100 liters of water); if the solution is diluted to less than 0.0075%, then it is necessary to adjust its “recharge” concentration.

- with the manual method of processing, the consumption of the working disinfectant solution is about 0.3 liters per 1 m2 of surface.

For the manual method of disinfection (by immersion) of equipment parts, equipment and containers, stationary and (or) mobile 2-3 section washing baths, tables for spare parts, racks for drying parts and equipment must be provided.

The manual method of disinfection involves repeated (at least 15 times per minute) wiping with brushes and ruffs while immersing the object being treated in a working disinfectant solution or repeated application (at least 10 times per minute) of the working solution on the treated surface of large equipment and wiping with brushes and ruffs, ensuring uniform wetting of the surface and the constant presence of a disinfectant on it. When disinfecting hard-to-reach areas, increase the duration of treatment (exposure time) to 15 minutes.

The sequence of operations associated with the development of technological equipment before disinfection with Javel Solid working solutions is described in detail in the operating instructions for this equipment and in the “Instructions for sanitary processing of equipment, equipment and containers at dairy industry enterprises”, M., 1998.

After disinfection, the concentration of the working solution of the Javel Solid drug is monitored and, if necessary, its norms are adjusted. If there is no protein-fat contamination of the working solution, then it is allowed to use it 4-5 times after bringing the “feeding” concentration to normal.

If there are mechanical impurities or organic substances in the disinfectant working solution used, the disinfectant must be discharged to a neutralization station.

After processing the equipment, pipelines and surfaces of the premises, they are rinsed with running tap water to remove any residual disinfectant on the surface being treated (for 5-7 minutes, depending on the length of the pipelines and the size of the objects being disinfected).

The concentration of active chlorine in Javel Solid working solutions is monitored in accordance with the requirements of the instructions for technical control at dairy industry enterprises. Quality control of disinfection is carried out by microbiological control of production at dairy industry enterprises and sanitary rules and regulations (SanPiN 2.3.4.551-96) “Production of milk and dairy products”.

The disinfectant "Javel Solid2" in concentrations of 0.0075 - 0.009% of active chlorine can be used as an additive to working solutions of detergents used in accordance with the "Instructions for the sanitary treatment of equipment, equipment and containers at dairy industry enterprises."

6. DETERMINATION OF THE MASS FRACTION (CONCENTRATION) OF ACTIVE CHLORINE IN JAVEL SOLID WORKING SOLUTIONS

Determination of the concentration of active chlorine in Javel Solid working solutions is carried out by iodometric titration.

Reagents and equipment:

Potassium iodide according to GOST 4232-74, crystalline, not containing free iodine, 10% solution.

Sulfuric acid according to GOST 4204-77, 25% solution.

Sodium thiosulfate according to GOST 27068-86, 0.1 N. solution.

Soluble starch according to GOST 10163-76, 1.0% solution.

Potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7), analytical grade.

25 ml burette with 0.1 ml graduations.

Pipette 2-2-10 and 2-2-5 according to GOST 20294-74.

Conical or round flat-bottomed flasks according to GOST 25336-82 type P-2 or type Ki-2 with a capacity of 100 ml and 250 ml.

Determination progress:

Pipette (2-2-10) 10 ml of the analyzed disinfectant solution into a 250 ml flask. Add 10 ml of a 10% solution of potassium iodide and 1.5 ml of 25% sulfuric acid. The solution is left for 10-12 minutes. Place in a dark place, after which the released iodine is titrated with 0.1 N. a solution of sodium thiosulfate Na2S2O3 using 1 ml of 0.5% starch solution as an indicator. The starch solution is added before the end of the titration, after the titrated solution turns straw-yellow. Then continue titration with sodium thiosulfate solution until the blue color disappears.

The mass fraction (concentration) of active chlorine (X) of active chlorine (X) is calculated using the formula:

Х=(0.00355хVxKx100)/m, where

X - mass fraction (concentration) in%;

0.00355 – mass of active chlorine, corresponding to 1 cm3 0.1 N. sodium thiosulfate solution, g;

V – volume 0.1 N. sodium thiosulfate solution used for titration, ml;

K* – correction factor to 0.1 n. sodium thiosulfate solution;

m – mass of the analyzed sample, g, equal to 10.0 g.

The correction factor when preparing solutions of sodium thiosulfate from fixanal is 1. In the absence of fixanal, it is necessary to use sodium thiosulfate of chemically pure grades. or ch.d.a. The calculation of “K” is carried out according to the general rules when determining the correction factor, described in the “Guide to the preparation of titrated solutions (V.M. Suslennikova, E.T. Kiseleva. Ed. 6th, revised, Moscow, Chemistry, 1982) .

Setting the correction factor to titre 0.1 and sodium thiosulfate solution.

A weighed portion of potassium dichromate. Dried to a constant weight in an amount of 0.15-0.2 g, dissolve in 50 ml of water, add 2 g of potassium iodide and 8 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid or 10 ml of sulfuric acid. The solution is stirred, brought to 400 ml and the released iodine is titrated with 0.1 N sodium thiosulfate solution until the color changes from brown to yellow-green. Add 1.5–2.0 ml of starch solution and continue titrating until the color changes from blue to emerald green.

At the same time, a control titration is carried out, for which 1 g of potassium iodide, 8 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid HCl or 10 ml of concentrated sulfuric acid H2SO4 are added to 50 ml of distilled water, adjusted to 400 ml with water, 1.5-2.0 ml of krasmfal solution are added and titrate with sodium thiosulfate as described above.

The correction factor K is calculated using the formula:

K= a/ (V1-V2)x0.0049035, where

a – sample of potassium dichromate (v.g.).

V1 – volume of 0.1 N sodium thiosulfate solution used for sample titration, ml.

V2 – volume of 0.1 N sodium thiosphosphate solution used for control titration, in ml.

0.0049035 – conversion factor.

Note.

To convert the mass fraction (%) of active chlorine into mass concentration (mg.act.Cl/l), the calculation data must be multiplied by 10000.
