Analogs of the drug Bactisubtil
The medicine Bactisubtil has no structural analogues of the active substance. However, there is a large group of drugs with similar therapeutic effects that normalize intestinal microflora:
Bactisubtil - analogues
Bactisubtil is a drug from the group of probiotics, which is prescribed for intestinal dysbiosis, acute and chronic diarrhea of various origins, enteritis and enterocolitis. One capsule of the drug contains 35 mg of freeze-dried spores of the bacteria Bacillus cereus IP 5832.
How to replace Baktisubtil?
There are no structural analogues of Baktisubtil with the same strain of bacteria, but there are a number of products with similar medicinal effects belonging to the group of probiotics:
In addition, there are a number of drugs that, although they do not belong to the same medicinal group and are not analogues of Bactisubtil, provide the same, and sometimes even stronger, medicinal effect. These are antimicrobial drugs recommended for certain types of diarrhea, and probiotics for intestinal dysbiosis.
To select the optimally suitable probiotic, it is advisable to follow the following rules:
- If you suspect a viral nature of the digestive disorder, it is advisable to take drugs based on lactobacilli (Lactobacterin, Biobakton, Primadophilus).
- If a bacterial infection is suspected, combination preparations containing bifidobacteria and lactobacilli (Linex, Bacteriobalance, Bifiform, Bifidin) are best suited.
- If a fungal nature of the infection is suspected, preparations containing bifidobacteria (Probiform, Bifidumbacterin, Biovestin) are best suited.
Comparative characteristics of Baktisubtil and its analogues
Although the effect of probiotics largely depends on the individual reaction of the body, they can differ in their effects, the content of bacteriological cultures, and also, which is significant for many, in price.
Which is better – Baktisubtil or Linex?
Both drugs restore the intestinal microflora quite effectively, but Linex is a combined product that contains enterococcus, lacto- and bifidobacteria, while Baktisubtil contains only one culture. Linex is considered the most effective analogue of Baktisubtil for intestinal dysbiosis, but it is almost half cheaper, which is important, since the courses of taking such drugs are at least two months.
Which is better – Baktisubtil or Enterol?
Enterol is a drug based on lyophilized yeast that inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The drug is effective for diarrhea of various origins, but not for dysbiosis, especially the form that occurs as a result of taking antibiotics.
Which is better - Baktisubtil or Bifiform?
Bifiform is a combined product containing enterococci and bifidobacteria. It has the same range of indications for use as Baktisubtil, but is in the same price category as Linex. Individual allergic reactions to some components of the drug are possible.
Which is better – Bactisubtil or Enterofuril?
These two drugs cannot be called analogues, since they belong to different medicinal groups. Enterofuril is an antimicrobial agent used for intestinal infections. Thus, it is much more effective for stool disorders, but cannot serve as a substitute for Bactisubtil in case of intestinal dysbiosis.
Which is better – Baktisubtil or Baktistatin?
Baxtistatin is a complex preparation of probiotic, prebiotic and sorbent. It is an effective remedy in the fight against dysbacteriosis, but with severe diarrhea it is ineffective.

Bactisubtil
Dysbacteriosis and other disorders associated with the gastrointestinal tract are very common.
The pharmaceutical industry offers many tools to solve such problems, as well as to ensure their prevention. One of these drugs is Baktisubtil, which contains special bacteria - eubiotics.
On this page you will find all the information about Bactisubtil: complete instructions for use for this drug, average prices in pharmacies, complete and incomplete analogues of the drug, as well as reviews of people who have already used Baktisubtil. Clinical and pharmacological group
A drug that regulates the balance of intestinal microflora (probiotic).
Conditions for dispensing from pharmacies
Available without a prescription.
How much does Baktisubtil cost? The average price in pharmacies is 900 rubles.
Release form and composition
The drug is produced in hard gelatin capsules: the body and cap are white, the contents are white-yellow or white-gray amorphous powder with a specific odor (20 pieces in blisters, 1 blister in a cardboard pack).
- The active ingredient of Baktisubtil is Bacillus cereus spores, freeze-dried, 35 mg in 1 capsule.
- Kaolin and calcium carbonate are included in the powder as excipients.
The shell is made of gelatin and titanium dioxide.
Pharmacological effect
Bactisubtil contains Bacillus cereus bacteria in the form of spores, which maintain the balance of intestinal microflora and prevent the development of putrefactive processes in the gastrointestinal tract. The drug helps restore B-group vitamins in the intestines. Due to the fact that the active substance of the drug is in spores, when administered orally it is not destroyed by gastric juice.
After using Baktisubtil, the development and therapeutic effects of bacteria are carried out directly in the intestines. Microorganisms secrete enzymes that promote the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, as a result of which the rotting of food remains and the symptoms of this process are stopped. Reviews of Baktisubtil also speak of this effect.
Indications for use
According to the data specified in the instructions for Bactisubtil, this probiotic is intended for the treatment of:
- Enteritis and enterocolitis;
- Infectious diarrhea (as part of complex therapy);
- Intestinal dysbiosis, including those caused by the use of a broad-spectrum antibiotic;
- Acute and chronic diarrhea of various origins, especially in children (due to impaired digestion of food, changes in diet and/or quality composition of food, as well as diarrhea of allergic origin).
In addition, Baktisubtil, according to the instructions, is used for the prevention and treatment of functional intestinal disorders in patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.
Contraindications
The use of Baktisubtil is contraindicated in cases of primary immunodeficiency and hypersensitivity to the components of the medication.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
During pregnancy and lactation, Baktisubtil is allowed to be used only under the supervision of a doctor, since pregnant women are not advised to take any medications; they are prescribed only when necessary for treatment, not prevention.

Reviews
We have selected some people's reviews about the drug Bactisubtil:
- Marina. Children need an eye and an eye! But I didn’t look after my daughter. They fed me some rubbish in the school canteen! Naturally, the “concert” began at night! The daughter did not leave the toilet until the morning. But there was no vomiting or nausea. Just terrible diarrhea! In the morning we went to the doctor. Hospitalization was not required, and he prescribed Bactisubtil. My daughter immediately started drinking it. The next day she went to school. Wonderful!!
- Irina. My child was 3 months old, he constantly cried because of abdominal pain, I myself gave him bactisubtil without a doctor’s recommendation, because... I used it myself before, I don’t remember how many capsules, but soon the child calmed down and everything returned to normal.
- Zhanna. When I began to develop dysbacteriosis, and as a result, diarrhea began, the first remedy that the doctor recommended to me was Baktisubtil. I have suffered from allergies since childhood, so I am wary of all pills and other medications. After listening to all the doctor’s arguments about this drug and reading the instructions, without hesitation, I began to take it. Regular capsules, 5 times a day, one piece. I washed it down with warm milk or water. The action began almost immediately. After a few days, the stool returned to normal.
- Oksana. Bactisubtil was recently prescribed for my son. We underwent a long course of antibiotic treatment, so we prescribed a whole course of maintenance therapy. This drug was a choice along with Linex, Bifiform and something else. At first we drank it for a week and decided that since it was more expensive, it was better. But then they couldn’t buy it at the pharmacy and took Linex. I will say that nothing has changed because of this, and so they were getting better and nothing got worse.
- Subject. Good afternoon If anyone doubts whether to buy bactisubtil or not, I highly recommend buying it. You won't regret it. Stops diarrhea from the first capsule. Other similar drugs (supposedly similar in action) do not do this. Tested by time. My son is 17 years old. And over all these years, whenever unpleasant symptoms arise, I give him bactisubtil. I haven't regretted it even once. It’s easier for my son and it’s calmer for me.

One comment
My troubles started when I got a sore throat. After some treatment with antibiotics, I developed dysbacteriosis. There is no specialist knowledgeable in this area in our city, so after finding out a little about how you can put your intestines in order, I decided that the most suitable option for me is Baktisubtil. It was possible to fully recover only when the second package (for 20 capsules) was finished. In general, not very much, considering that up to 8 tablets were taken per day. In addition, I did not experience any side effects or discomfort.

Baktisubtil - use, analogues, contraindications
The drug Baktisubtil was created specifically within the framework of the microbiological safety program by the French pharmaceutical company Patheon France. The probiotic is effective both in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and for preventive purposes. Promotes the rapid restoration of disturbed intestinal microflora, normalizes metabolic processes in the body, and improves immunity.
The effectiveness of Baktisubtil has been proven by clinical studies. The drug has a powerful effect, completely restoring the structure of the disturbed microflora of the gastrointestinal tract, and has a wide spectrum of action.
Probiotic composition
The preparation contains bacteria of the Bacillus cereus IP 5832 strain in dried form. Spores of beneficial bacteria are resistant to gastric juice, so they freely enter the small and large intestines in an active form. Suppress opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms.
In addition, the product contains calcium carbonate and kaolin. The capsule shell is made of titanium dioxide and edible gelatin. Gelatin capsules are white.

Side effects
Allergy to any of the components included in the probiotic - rashes, itching, allergic rhinitis, laryngeal swelling, redness of the skin.
Bactisubtil does not cause side effects at recommended dosages.
Contraindications
1. Hypersensitivity to the active substance of the drug.
3. During transplantation.
Interactions with drugs
The probiotic can be taken simultaneously with sulfonamide drugs or antibiotics.
When interacting with ethanol, the effect of the drug is reduced, therefore it is not recommended to drink alcoholic beverages during treatment with Bactisubtil.
Use of the product during pregnancy and lactation period
Bactisubtil is one of the few drugs that has no contraindications during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This is explained by the fact that the components included in its composition do not have the ability to accumulate in the body, so the possibility of their penetration into breast milk or the placenta is excluded.
Analogues
In terms of structure, which is as close as possible to Bactisubtil, there are no analogues. However, there are probiotics that have similar pharmacological effects and provide no less positive medicinal effects.
When choosing analogues, the following characteristics should be taken into account:
- if the gastrointestinal tract disorder is viral in nature, it is necessary to choose products with a high content of lactobacilli;
- if a bacterial infection is suspected, combined synbiotic preparations containing both bifidobacteria and lactobacilli are suitable;
- for fungal infections of the gastrointestinal tract, products containing bifidobacteria are prescribed.
Probiotics differ in their effect on the body, the quantitative and qualitative composition of beneficial microorganisms, and in cost.
Comparative characteristics of some analogues of Baktisubtil
- Linux. Like Baktisubtil, it promotes the rapid restoration of damaged microflora. Linex has the following differences: it simultaneously contains three components - bifidobacteria, lactobacilli, and enterococcus. Therefore, it is recognized as a more effective drug in the treatment of dysbiosis.
- Bifiform. Contains bifidobacteria and enterococci. Has a similar range of actions. Contraindication – hypersensitivity to any component.
- Enterofuril. Refers to antimicrobial drugs prescribed in the treatment of infectious intestinal diseases. More effective for diarrhea, but less effective in treating dysbiosis.
- Bactistatin. A complex probiotic made from freeze-dried yeast. Quickly suppresses putrefactive processes, accelerates the death of harmful bacteria and fungi. Recommended for diarrhea of any origin. Ineffective against dysbacteriosis.
- Probifor. An antimicrobial drug with a broad spectrum of action. Active against many gram-positive enterobacteria. Indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections, diarrhea.
- Lactobacterin. Contains a high amount of lactobacilli. Recommended for somatic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, complicated by dysbacteriosis, for ulcerative and chronic colitis, in prenatal preparation to eliminate the risk of developing septic complications.
- Primadophilus. A biologically active food supplement with restorative properties, a broad-spectrum synbiotic. The drug prevents the development of putrefactive and pyogenic flora in the intestines, enhances peristalsis, and stimulates the production of vitamins. Recommended for vaginal and intestinal dysbiosis, diarrhea, after a long course of antibiotics, rotavirus infections, food allergies, unbalanced nutrition, and any forms of diathesis in children.
The following drugs are also alternatives to Bactisubtil:
In the course of clinical and microbiological studies of Baktisubtil, conclusions were drawn: the drug quickly changes the intracavitary environment of the colon, promotes positive changes in the microbiocenosis of the gastrointestinal tract, and is effective in the treatment and prevention of dysbiotic disorders.
Customer Reviews
When my daughter was very tiny, for a long time I could not cure her of staphylococcus, which she caught in the maternity hospital. I was lucky that I ended up with a competent pediatrician, who prescribed us to take Bactisubtil. After reading the instructions, I realized that I could trust the drug - it has no contraindications. But most importantly, it contains special bacteria that have an antimicrobial effect against pathogens. I can confidently say that this is the best drug that restores natural microflora. Suitable for everyone - babies, pregnant women, adults. Now we can’t go anywhere without it. We always take Baktisubtil on trips, especially to the sea. You never know what can happen in a different climate, and the food there is unusual. Another thing I do when someone has diarrhea is to first give them activated charcoal to cleanse the intestines. And a few hours later, a Baktisubtil capsule. Usually one or two days are enough for the stool to completely normalize. I recommend it to everyone!
The advantages of Baktisubtil are that it helps to quickly restore intestinal microflora after antibiotics and instantly treats diarrhea. We “met” the drug when my son became very ill. The respiratory disease was accompanied by high fever, severe cough, and runny nose. The complication was bronchitis. As a result, a course of antibiotics was prescribed. His condition improved, and his son quickly recovered. But a new problem arose - the microflora was disrupted. The doctor prescribed Bactistatin, but we could not find it at the pharmacy. Then the pharmacist recommended buying Bactisubtil, saying that the microorganisms included in its composition would quickly restore the flora. The drug helped literally on the second day! So take it with confidence, don’t hesitate. It heals quickly, accurately hitting the target, and at the same time absolutely harmless!
Bactisubtil is a drug that has a beneficial effect on intestinal function by eliminating pathogenic bacteria, as well as opportunistic microflora bacteria. Instructions for use of Bactisubtil provide information on how to take the drug, what it helps with, and also contains a description of the drug and warnings before use.
Children and adults are allowed to take this drug only after consulting a doctor.

Indications for use
Photo with instructions
In some ways, Baktisubtil is similar to a probiotic; it also contains bacteria that restore intestinal microflora. But it does this not by populating the intestines with beneficial bacteria, but by eliminating the unhelpful ones. Baktisubtil capsules are resistant to the action of gastric juice, and therefore begin their active work only in the small intestine.
The bacteria that are in the capsule help destroy pathogenic bacteria that populate the intestines in various pathologies. Therefore, Baktisubtil is very helpful in treating intestinal inflammation and eliminating the symptoms of pathogenic microflora.
The drug is used in the following cases:
- Dysbacteriosis, which is accompanied by diarrhea and flatulence (sometimes leading to nausea and vomiting), and is caused by a decrease in the amount of beneficial intestinal microflora.
- Diarrhea caused by infections in the intestines.
- Acute or chronic inflammation of the intestines, accompanied by stool disorder.
- For constipation caused by pathogenic bacteria entering the intestines, Baktisubtil is also used.
- In case of infectious poisoning This drug is also used in complex therapy.
The use of the drug is indicated both for the treatment of these conditions and for prevention. Baktisubtil does not accumulate in the body, and therefore will not cause harm when taken as a prophylactic course.
Bactisubtil for adults
For adults, Baktisubtil capsules are prescribed depending on the needs of the body. If the disease is acute, then take one capsule approximately 4-6 times a day. If the disease is chronic, then the dosage is reduced - 1 capsule is half as much (2-3 times).
Bactisubtil for children
The children's version of taking the drug in the same cases provides:
- in acute cases - one piece 2-3 times a day;
- in chronic cases - the same, but only once or twice a day.
Baktisubtil is approved for children over 3 years of age. Taking Baktisubtil for newborns and infants can only be approved by a pediatrician according to indications. They are trying to find a different drug in a pediatric form, the difference of which is a smaller number of bacteria.
For infants under one year of age, it is better not to use this medicine, but to replace it with a children's probiotic.
During pregnancy
During pregnancy and lactation, Baktisubtil is allowed to be used only under the supervision of a doctor, since pregnant women are not advised to take any medications; they are prescribed only when necessary for treatment, not prevention.
Side effects
Contraindications
The only contraindication to taking Baktisubtil is individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Alcohol compatibility
Alcohol should not be taken during treatment with this medicine.
Ethyl can destroy bacterial spores even before they enter the intestines, and then it turns out that taking the drug will be pointless.
Analogues
An analogue of Baktisubtil for the active substance is not so easy to find in pharmacies, and it is not a fact that it will be cheaper, but cheap analogues may be of worse quality.
It can be replaced with other drugs similar in action, mainly probiotics:

Baktisubtil or Linex - which is better?
Linex is an analogue of Baktisubtil in terms of action in the body. It cannot be said that it performs the same functions, but the effect of taking them is almost identical. The differences between the drugs are shown in the table.

Which is better: Linex or Baktisubtil?
It is believed that Baktisubtil can be replaced with Linex. It is often recommended on forums to young mothers to eliminate diarrhea and restore microflora in infants.
It is important to understand that Linex is a complex product containing bifidobacteria, lactobacilli and enterococci, which increase the body’s resistance and immune reactivity and synthesize compounds with antibacterial activity. Whereas Baktisubtil turns out to be indispensable after antibiotic therapy, for various inflammatory and infectious processes in the intestines, and is also an excellent prevention of normal intestinal function even after chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Reviews about Baktisubtil
Patients leave only positive comments about the drug Bactisubtil. Reviews from doctors also indicate its effectiveness and safety. Among the positive aspects most often noted:
- quick effect, which is necessary when traveling;
- safe use in children;
- effective restoration of microflora after antibiotic therapy.
The main disadvantage that patients unanimously agree on is the price, which unfortunately is rising, and one package is sometimes not enough for the entire course of treatment.

Bactisubtil for children reviews
Effectively helps with childhood diarrhea;
During treatment there are no complaints of abdominal pain;
Helps with enterocolitis and meteorite;
Has no contraindications;
Non-toxic (can be used by infants and pregnant women);
Before use, it requires cleansing the intestines with enterosorbents (Polysorb, etc.);
The powder has a specific odor that is unpleasant for children.
Bactisubtil for children under one year and 2 years old
Children under one year old still have few antibodies of their own. The baby receives them with breast milk. Only by the age of three does one’s own formal immunity gradually develop. Therefore, the use of bacterial drugs and antibiotics at an early age should be minimized.
Linex and analogues (Probiotics)
Linex - doctor's review
The drugs described on this page are intended for the treatment of diarrhea (diarrhea), especially caused by dysbacteriosis. They contain beneficial microorganisms (probiotics), which, when entering the intestines, release substances that inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and promote the proliferation of beneficial bacteria. Some of the drugs are also used for dysbiosis of the genital area in women. The effects of the drugs are very similar, and only a doctor can understand the details that distinguish the use of each of them.
Recently, medical articles have been published claiming that dysbiosis does not exist at all. The same information is intrusively presented from TV screens. During my time as a doctor, I experienced several similar mass “psychoses” regarding various diseases. Let's wait, and perhaps the “wave” about non-existent dysbacteriosis will subside. And for intestinal problems, I personally start treatment with Linex. Helps me.
And in terms of price-quality ratio, in my opinion, the entire table is no better than the “hero” of the page - Linex. Most drugs are not cheap. Study the sign, it's big. Analyze.

How to find a cheap analogue of an expensive medicine?
To find an inexpensive analogue of a medicine, a generic or a synonym, first of all we recommend paying attention to the composition, namely the same active ingredients and indications for use. The same active ingredients of a drug will indicate that the drug is a synonym for the drug, pharmaceutically equivalent or a pharmaceutical alternative. However, we should not forget about the inactive components of similar drugs, which may affect safety and effectiveness.
