Elementary school student portfolio. Primary and high school student's portfolio: ready-made title page and sheet templates for boys and girls

When searching for the right employee or client, the company manager or customer is primarily interested in his portfolio and work experience. A beautiful, thoroughly compiled portfolio is the key to a specialist’s future success. After all, you can first assess the professionalism of an employee only by examples of his work.

A portfolio is a well-executed list of a specialist’s work. A performer is judged by his level of preparation, therefore, it is worth paying close attention to him. Start by choosing your areas of specialization. For a copywriter, this is: texts written for websites, commercial offers, slogans. The photographer does: portrait photos, landscapes, wedding photography, reports from the scene. Whatever direction you choose, it must be supported by examples. Find the most successful ones. In each of the directions the most best option– 10-20 works. This is quite enough to give an initial impression of your level.

Sample portfolio structure:

  • title page (project name);
  • portfolio goals;
  • autobiography;
  • working materials;
  • achievements;
  • external reviews.
Think over and choose a beautiful portfolio design. For a freelance copywriter, this could be a text file typed in Word in which you present all your business proposals. Another option is that each individual article describes one job. The most important thing is that the texts are written correctly, clearly, and compactly. If you have chosen several directions, then distribute the work on them into folders. Decide where to place your portfolio. The most progressive placement option is the Internet. You can place it on special sites - exchanges, on your personal website. It would be a good idea to write it down on a flash drive or disk and always carry it with you. It is unknown when and where you will meet your future employer or customer. An example of a portfolio on the fl.ru exchange. The best option for posting a portfolio is a personal website. In this case, you can place links to samples of work on your business card. Link to them in communities and groups, forums, social networks, and remote work exchanges. On the exchange, when adding a portfolio, you will have to make cash investments, because... The service of placing you in a freelancer directory is paid. But you have a better chance of attracting the attention of customers. Remote job exchanges are listed. Remember, the better your portfolio and the higher quality of the work presented in it, the higher your rating in the catalog and the more customers will find you. Check out an example of a great e-portfolio. What's here:
  • the newest and best works were selected;
  • several projects in each direction (2-6);
  • screenshots illustrate articles;
  • projects are described competently and correctly titled;
  • the entire page looks harmonious and beautifully structured;
  • the presence of an avatar in the form of a photo of the author.
For comparison, pay attention to the example of a not very successful portfolio that requires improvement. Its disadvantages are obvious:
  • too little work;
  • the work was completed a long time ago, there are no fresh ideas;
  • no screenshots, previews;
  • not all works have been added;
  • few directions (no work with texts).
Another example of a portfolio on the website freelancejob.ru, which can be taken as a sample. If you still have doubts and uncertainty about writing and designing a portfolio, then register on the freelance forum. There, in groups, there are specialists who will professionally answer questions.

To place in your portfolio, choose the most worthy, interesting works as possible. If you are a freelancer, then indicate everything, the quality is not lower than the level of a guru. The quantity and quality of work will confirm your experience, show that you are not a beginner, you have hundreds of articles or promoted sites behind you. No need to exaggerate, place several average works. To show how you work consistently, not during a “creative burst.”

For example:
A name is the personal name a person is given at birth. Each name has its own interpretation. This is what my name means:
Mark comes from the Greek name Markos, which in turn comes from the Latin word "marcus" - hammer. There is also a second version of the origin of this name, that it comes from the god of war Mars. Shortened versions: Markusha, Marik, Markusya, Masya.

The patronymic name did not appear in Rus' right away; only people who deserved the tsar’s trust were allowed to have it. Now everyone has a middle name and it is given according to the personal name of the father.
My patronymic is Andreevich

Surnames have long been the privilege of people with position, and for ordinary people a surname was an “unaffordable luxury.” A person's surname is an inherited family name.

When potential clients meet a photographer, the portfolio plays the role of introductory material from which conclusions can be drawn about his experience and professionalism. The quality, expressiveness, and creative content of the photographs presented in the portfolio determine the desire of clients to seek the services of a given photographer. By studying photographs, clients evaluate the photographer’s skills, professional skills, and experience. This article will look at how to create a photography portfolio.

What photos to choose for your portfolio

A portfolio is a collection of the best photographs that demonstrate the photographer’s professional level, personal style and “handwriting”. But you can’t go overboard when choosing photographs for such a collection. You need to choose not so much ideal photographs, perhaps miraculously obtained, but rather those shots that the photographer can take again without any problems. This way, there is a guarantee that new photographs will delight clients and not disappoint them. After all, upset clients can significantly damage a photographer’s reputation, but satisfied clients are a magical, powerful force that creates success.
The portfolio of a beginning photographer should be replete with photographs taken in his favorite genres that he plans to pursue, or it should contain photographs of different genres if the photographer has not yet decided in which direction he will work. The demonstration selection of photographs should consist of approximately 20-30 photographs; this is the number that makes it possible to evaluate the professionalism and style of the photographer. Pictures in the portfolio should be placed by genre so that, if necessary, you can consistently demonstrate to the client how proficient the photographer is in a particular genre and so that you don’t have to frantically look for the necessary pictures among others.

To evaluate the work of photographers, a portfolio is the only source that allows you to compare the work of different photographers and make a choice about who to contact to create a particular photo shoot. Each photographer, as his professional activity progresses, begins to give preference to a certain type of shooting and it is necessary to emphasize this in your portfolio by placing more photographs of this genre in it. It is better to be a specialist in several genres than to take photographs ineptly, trying to embody all genres of photography in your work.

Portfolio format

In what form the photographer’s portfolio will be stored and displayed, digital or printed, he decides based on his own considerations; it can be photo books, just a folder with printed photographs, a digital folder with files, a slide show, a presentation or a personal website. The latter method is considered the most progressive, because in addition to demonstrating your professional capabilities, you can also post other useful information on the site, including discounts and other tempting offers. In addition, on your own website you can post an unlimited number of photographs of different genres with a convenient menu and navigation through them. Well, and of course, if the portfolio is posted on your own website, in order to evaluate the photographer’s skill, a potential client will only need to follow the link, which he can do without leaving his home.

Having multiple demos of your portfolio is even more practical. Let’s say that it is more convenient for clients with whom the photographer sees in person to show a photo book. It is more convenient for friends and acquaintances on the Internet, as well as when sending a commercial proposal to potential clients, to demonstrate your portfolio on your own website.

Portfolio of a professional photographer

A professional photographer supplements his portfolio with information about awards and prizes, but a professional’s portfolio is also distinguished by masterfully executed photographs that can fascinate, delight and surprise. It’s not for nothing that photography becomes a real art in the right hands. But beginners should not be upset, over time, with the acquisition of experience and skills, as professionalism grows, the collection of the best photographs will change, transforming every year.
You can find portfolios of different photographers online and make your own analysis of how they differ from each other. By looking through the photographic works of professional and novice photographers, you can draw your own conclusions about how their work differs and take this into account when compiling your own portfolio.

Accompanying text for photos

It is very convenient when each photo in the portfolio is accompanied by information about the importance of this or that photograph, as well as the photographer’s ideas on how else he could use the depicted frame. Thus, the informational message of the portfolio increases - a visual demonstration of the photographer’s capabilities is complemented by an easy acquaintance with his creative potential.

Wedding photography portfolio

If a photographer is engaged in wedding photography, he needs to have a separate portfolio showing wedding photos. Such a portfolio should not be very small, but not too large, so that clients do not have to look through hundreds of photos.

To demonstrate a wedding photo to potential clients, the portfolio must contain the following images taken by the photographer:

— portraits of brides
— general plans of the area
- photos of wedding details, their design
- portraits of grooms
- photos that convey the emotions of guests and newlyweds
- photographs from unusual angles
— group photos
— staged and non-staged photographs of the newlyweds
— photos of banquet halls
— reporting moments

When creating a portfolio of wedding photographs, you need to be focused on a selection of photographs that maximally demonstrate the creative and professional skills that are most important when photographing weddings - capturing important moments, highlighting key details, performing portrait and group photography, and being creative in your work. The wedding photographer also supplements his portfolio with photographs taken during the filming of Love Story.

So, what should a photo portfolio be like?

- Expressive. To do this, the best photographs are included in it.
- Laconic. It should not contain too few or too many pictures.
- Original. All photographs must be unique in some way, indicating the “personal handwriting” of the author.

Background of the professional portfolio

To create a professional portfolio, you need to have high-quality work in your personal collection so that you have plenty to choose from that can arouse the interest of potential clients. To do this, beginners photograph everything and everyone who agrees to be photographed. But this is not enough. To obtain professional skills, it is necessary to study the experience of photographers accumulated by humanity today, so that not at random, but with skill, create beautiful photographs. http://ufa.videoforme.ru/photoschool provides photography courses to everyone, where everyone can master the art of photography. Page 12 - MY SCHOOL
Photo of the school + text: school number and write with your child: why he likes going to school

To alleviate the plight of the parents of our class and mine, I made a proposal to the teacher about purchasing ready-made school portfolios at the school where my child is studying. But, as it turned out, compiling a portfolio is a creative process that helps a child discover his creative abilities, as well as conduct self-analysis of his school life over a certain period, motivates the child to take part in educational activities and creative work. Increases self-esteem and confidence in your capabilities. Therefore, ready-made school portfolios are not welcome.

Then I started studying the information... I scoured the Internet, and it became clear that there is no single standard for designing a portfolio yet. Having gone through this difficult path, I would like to help other parents who are just faced with compiling a portfolio for a schoolchild

2. My world section:: This section adds information that is important for the child. Sample version of the pages: Personal data (About me) – date of birth, place of birth, age. You can indicate your home address and telephone number. My name - write what the child’s name means, where it came from, you can indicate who they were named after (for example, grandfather). And also, indicate famous people bearing this name. My family - write a short story about your family or, if you have the desire and time, about each family member. Attach to this story photographs of relatives or a drawing of the child as he sees his family. You can attach the child’s pedigree to this section.

My school subjects - we give a brief description of each subject, i.e. We help the child understand why he is needed. You can also write your attitude towards the subject. For example, mathematics is a difficult subject, but I try, because... I want to learn to count well or I like music because I am learning to sing beautifully.

My social work (social activities) - it is advisable to fill out this section with photographs where the child took part in school life (for example, spoke at a festival, decorated a classroom, a wall newspaper, read poetry at a matinee, etc.) + a brief description of the impression/ emotions from performing social activities.

My impressions (school events, excursion and educational events) - everything is standard here, we are writing a short review - the impression of a child visiting a class excursion, museum, exhibition, etc. You can write a review with a photo from the event or draw a picture.

4. Section My successes: My studies - we make sheet headings for each school subject (mathematics, Russian language, reading, music, etc.). Well-done independent work, tests, reviews of books, various reports, etc. will be included in these sections.

My creativity – here we place the child’s creativity. Drawings, crafts, his writing activities - fairy tales, stories, poems. We also don’t forget about large-scale works – we take photographs and add them to our portfolio. If desired, the work can be signed - the title, as well as where the work took part (if it was exhibited at a competition/exhibition).

My best works (Works that I am proud of) – this will include works that the child considers important and valuable for the whole year of study. And we lay out the remaining (less valuable, in the child’s opinion) material, making room for sections for the new school year

24 Additional pages that can be attached to the portfolio: - I can describe the child’s skills at this stage (for example, he solves problems well, recites poetry beautifully, etc.) - My plans - the child sets certain goals for himself, what he would like learn or improve any skills in the near future (for example, learn to write beautifully, learn the English alphabet, etc.) - My daily routine (My daily routine) - create a daily routine with your child and try to stick to it - Reading technique - all test results are recorded here - Report card for the school year - My vacation (Summer vacation, Vacation) - a short story from a child about how I spent the summer. Don't forget about a photo or drawing about your vacation - My dreams
