  1. Ira

We tested polyoxidonium in tablets and suppositories. I took the pills myself and gave suppositories to the children. And last year’s flu and all sorts of viruses slipped through. This year I have already purchased the drug, there is no rush for such products yet. They usually become more expensive in winter.

I’m encouraging my sister to buy it and start drinking it, she’s having a bad reaction to antibiotics, so better prevention carry out in advance. She laughs at the title) But the fact that she often gets sick is not funny at all. I've been sick since childhood, but my immune system is weak.

  2. Raisa

The drug is a dummy and not cheap. I got sick with the flu and was advised to inject polyoxidonium in addition to treatment with other drugs. I was sick for 10 days, no less than always. And the disease was difficult. But after I was cured, exactly 10 days later I fell ill again, this has never happened before. This is a natural pacifier, and there are probably a lot of side effects. It seems to me that, on the contrary, it weakened my immunity. I have never been so sick twice in a month. And don’t lie to people about the benefits of this drug for the immune system.

  3. Catherine

Whatever the infection, my husband and I will definitely “catch” it. I'm so tired of constant illnesses. Friends advised me to drink polyoxidonium simply for preventive purposes. For the first time in many months, the spring cold did not affect us. And it was so opportune - we were just leaving on vacation. I can advise everyone who has the same weakened immune system. We're holding on for now. I hope it will last for a long time.

  4. Valery

My wife and I are not supporters of treatment with pills, but we have learned from our own experience that sometimes there is no other way. We tried to find the most harmless medicines. But those that seem harmless act worse than any antibiotics. We searched for a long time, and this winter we found a medicine that helped us quickly cope with the flu and recover from the virus. Polyoxidonium is convenient to drink - you just dissolve it and that’s it. We asked doctors - the reviews are good, even children can drink it. We are planning to take a course for prevention. Autumn is coming, which means it's time to come colds. Let's try not to get sick.

  5. Kate

I don't know what I would do without polyoxidonium. I look at the other children in the kindergarten: they are always covered in snot, coughing non-stop... Do parents really like to look at this? For example, I switched to it a long time ago and don’t regret it at all. I know 100 percent that my child will not catch the infection. At least it’s not scary to leave it in the garden all day! And everyone who is afraid to use it has long wanted to let them read the latest research.

  6. Lolly

I've been suffering since I was little in different forms allergopathology, so finding a cure, even for a common flu, is very difficult. Many instructions say that the medicine can be used in patients with allergies, but in fact this turns out to be a lie. No such incidents arose with polyoxidonium. Naturally, I was scared to take another drug, but I wanted to find normal pills so much that I took a risk. And not in vain, as I can now judge. She cured the flu without consequences, and did not notice any negative after-effects. I’m also pleased, of course, that my immunity has improved. I haven't been sick at all this year.

  7. Renata

I always take Polycosidonium with me on trips. I rarely get sick at home, but when I go somewhere, I immediately get a cold with high temperature. These tablets are suitable for both me and my husband, so I know for sure that I can buy a pack and carry it with me just in case. If we do catch a cold, polyoxidonium helps us get back on our feet quickly. The disease passes almost unnoticed, and most importantly, without complications.

  8. Oxy

When complications arise during ARVI, it takes a very serious turn. This happened to me for the first time last winter. Now it’s difficult to assess what helped more and what less, but polyoxidonium is responsible for the fact that I began to feel better after a couple of days. Thank God, this medicine can be administered at any stage of the disease. Of the 3 weeks of non-stop treatment, only the last 7 days, when I took a course of pills, was able to get out of bed and do things around the house. It took quite a bit of time to recover, but I was cured without complications or consequences. Polyoxidonium suited me. The next stage is that I’m going to drink it for preventive purposes in the fall. I want to boost my immunity.

  9. Larisa

This fall I already managed to get sick. But less than a week and I was already at work. I think I caught it in time. Weekend and 2 more days stuck on time off - bed rest, tea, honey, gargling, tablets (including polyoxidonium). Last time I took it every year for prevention, but this year I did not expect that viruses would come to us so early. But polyoxidonium pulled me out of my illness quite quickly, considering that on the first day my temperature was quite high. We must not forget to take a preventive course before winter.

  10. Tatiana

I somehow had to take polyoxidonium as prescribed by a doctor. The effect is excellent. I was very sick then, then I quickly recovered, and after completing the course I fell ill with ARVI only in April. And all winter, when our office went on sick leave, I was like a cucumber, neither sneezed nor coughed.

  11. Miroslava

The main principle of polyoxidonium is the rapid activation of the immune system, which is expressed in the production of interferon. Polyoxide begins to work within three hours after taking it, i.e. after three hours, your interferon begins to fight viruses. Due to this, recovery is faster. I have been using this drug for two years now when I start getting sick with ARVI. The effectiveness is noticeable already on the second day - you feel better, the fever stops, and the temperature drops. By the way, this comes from the fact that polyoxidonium, in addition to activating the immune system, removes viral toxins.

  12. Natalia

After we completed the course of polyoxidonium, my son began to get sick much less often in kindergarten. For the past year he has been sick almost every month. But this year, since the beginning of September, I got sick only once, and then I wasn’t sick for very long, about five days.

  13. Silvia

A friend once told me about polyoxidonium. This drug was prescribed to her daughter when she fell ill with ARVI and then complications arose. I remember this, and I remembered it when my son got sick. Our pediatrician confirmed that this is good antiviral drug and that if you follow the scheme, he will get his son back on his feet in just a couple of days. It was hard to believe, after all, these were just pills, not a magic powder))) But they really worked, and if I was used to treating a child for weeks, then everything went away in less than a week. Result? Result.

    15.12.2018

Well, of course, everyone likes their own way of fighting ARVI; for some, polyoxidonium may help, but for me it doesn’t. That’s why I take Ingavirin, it makes recovery much faster.

Azoximer bromide has complex action: immunomodulatory, detoxifying, antioxidant, moderate anti-inflammatory.

The basis of the mechanism of immunomodulatory action of Azoximer bromide is a direct effect on phagocytic cells and natural killer cells, as well as stimulation of antibody formation and the synthesis of interferon-alpha and interferon-gamma.

Detoxification and antioxidant properties Azoximer bromide is largely determined by the structure and high-molecular nature of the drug.

Azoximer bromide increases the body's resistance to local and generalized infections of bacterial, fungal and viral etiology. Restores immunity in secondary immunodeficiency conditions caused by various infections, injuries, complications after surgical operations.

A characteristic feature of Azoximer bromide when applied topically (sublingually) is the ability to activate factors of the body's early defense against infection: the drug stimulates the bactericidal properties of neutrophils, macrophages, enhances their ability to absorb bacteria, increases the bactericidal properties of saliva and secretions of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.

At oral administration Azoximer bromide also activates lymphoid cells in lymph nodes intestines.

Azoximer bromide blocks soluble toxic substances and microparticles, has the ability to remove toxins, heavy metal salts from the body, inhibits lipid peroxidation, both by intercepting free radicals, and through the elimination of catalytically active Fe2+ ions. Azoximer bromide reduces inflammatory reaction by normalizing the synthesis of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines.

Azoximer bromide is well tolerated, does not have mitogenic, polyclonal activity, antigenic properties, does not have allergenic, mutagenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects.

Azoximer bromide is odorless and tasteless, and does not have a local irritating effect when applied to the mucous membranes of the nose and oropharynx.

Pharmacokinetics

Azoximer bromide after oral administration is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, the bioavailability of the drug is oral administration more than 70%. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is achieved 3 hours after ingestion. The pharmacokinetics of Azoximer bromide is linear (plasma concentration is proportional to the dose taken).

Azoximer bromide is a hydrophilic compound. The apparent volume of distribution is approximately 0.5 l/kg, which indicates that the drug is distributed mainly in the interstitial fluid. The half-life of absorption is 35 minutes, the half-life is 18 hours.

Azoximer bromide is quickly distributed throughout all organs and tissues of the body, penetrates the blood-brain and blood-ophthalmic barriers. There is no cumulative effect. In the body of Azoximer, bromide undergoes biodegradation to low molecular weight oligomers, is excreted mainly by the kidneys, with feces - no more than 3%.
